It was just barely a notch above completely raw. The teriyaki dishes weren't any better; the sauce was thick and gelatinous, almost jelly-like, and really unappetizing. The salmon was cut so thin that it basically dried out just from cooking, so it ended up tough and bland instead of tender. Between the undercooked shrimp and the overall poor quality of everything else, this was an extremely disappointing and EXPENSIVE meal, and unfortunately we're now both feeling sick afterward. Really hoping the restaurant takes a hard look at food safety and quality control.

The restaurant itself is rather small and the tables are very close together (a little too close for my liking), and if you are ordering takeout you could be waiting on the phone line for a little while. These two things would normally make me take off one star, but I love the food and service here so much that it still deserves 5 stars in my eyes!
