Pressure washing, sanding off old layers of paint on my porch rails, repairing wood and stucco as requested, then taping and taping and taping to make certain the completed job looked exceptional . WOW! Great attention to detail! And then after they painted, they touched up anything necessary. Superb communicators, responding to any phone calls or texts or in person questions. All the gentlemen working on my house were friendly and professional. It was expensive, but we definitely got what we paid for. There were no surprises. The estimate was very close to the final payment (we had some additional repairs we hadn't discussed in the initial estimate). I would highly recommend La Pintura Pro Painting.

This company evidently does very good work and has all the business they can handle. I called and…read morewhile very briefly describing my issue got a rather snippy response: "We're 5 to 6 weeks out." Okay Bond Plumbing, sorry to bother you. Happily, my problem was not an emergency, but I will not be calling them again! Edit: 09/13/2022 As a result of a reply from the president and owner of this business within hours after my initial post, I am revising my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Being a former business owner myself, I understand the problems and frustrations of finding and keeping skilled employees. From the other reviews, this company may very well do 5 star work. However, I view plumbing as a service business, and a big part of service is providing it when the customer needs it. Who can wait 5 to 6 weeks if they have an emergency? My issue was not an emergency, but it was progressing, so I felt it needed attention before it became one. Although I had to get my problem fixed elsewhere, it is nice to know that the owner of this business is closely involved and concerned with its daily operation.

It reminded me of a teeny tiny Williams Sonoma with so much variety of high quality product. It's definitely like living in a real life cooks dream. For a local shop to make money there will be markup. I noticed higher prices than what I would expect to pay for some products. I think that's fair as they aren't a huge online retailer selling from a warehouse. Monet's Kitchen brings what I love most to downtown Taos, diversity of shopping. Not all walkable & shoppable little downtown areas have a store to turn you into the kitchen cook dreams are made of, but downtown Taos does! Whether you're looking for new Fiesta ware, placemats, a dutch oven, spatula, or holiday cookie cutters, you can find just about anything you may need here. Bonus: you just never know what you might find! I found several flavors of New Mexico Pinon Coffee that I didn't see anywhere else that I was so happy to pick up while I was here. October 2020
