Wow. I was really misled by the four stars this place already had. I ordered on line. I selected a three entrée plate, steamed rice, egg rolls, and wonton soup. The order is placed via some online ordering software. It said the food would be ready by 5:37 PM. I arrived at 5;42 PM and my order was not ready. The lady that greeted me said you ordered Wonton soup. I said yes, but a lot more food as well. They then proceeded to try and put all the food together. My order was for Orange chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Peppered Beef. All were almost tasteless except my wife said the Orange Chicken had a bad flavor to it. The wonton soup appeared to have no wontons, but they were in a separate container for you to ad to the soup. They also were almost tasteless. The four egg rolls were next and they tasted really bad. Plus, they gave me soy sauce, but no hot mustard. The last item was the usual fortune cookies and the one my wife opened had not fortune in it. Seems like that was the epitaph for the meal. Honestly, the flavor wasn't all there. The chow mein and fried rice lacked flavor too. Not to mention, I believe they gave me mushroom chicken instead teriyaki chicken so that was a bummer when I opened my plate, ordered thru doordash. My favorite was probably the beef and broccoli. I came here with my mom today for Christmas Eve -and was surprised that they were open for the holidays (turns out they are also open for Christmas Day as well ). The location was very clean and the service was prompt and friendly. My mom got a side of chow mein and I ordered a two piece combo which got a mountain of either chowmein and/or fried rice -I got both to try both and it basically overflowed the box! Amazing serving size ! I also ordered the orange chicken and broccoli and beef. I felt the broccoli and beef could have more beef -it was mostly broccoli and the flavor of the few beef pieces I had were very good -I wish there were more ! The orange chicken had a good crunchy outside and was flavorful. The chow mein was also really good -I just wish the fried rice had a little bit more flavor it was a little bland. Worst Chinese food ever. Everything was greasy. The Orange chicken had a piece of chicken the size of a dime with a large fried chewy crust around it. The Beef Broccoli was too chewy to eat. The vege egg rolls were so greasy they left our hands and napkins grey with the grease. the chow mein and rice same thing, greasy! read more

We happened to be in the area visiting family and my boyfriend was craving Chinese food. He was craving a specific place from his childhood but I think the had closed down and we found this place instead. I love how most of the food are made in smaller batches to ensure freshness and quality. The lady behind the counter was very nice generous with the portions. We had enough food for 2 people from 1 plate for only $7-8!!! Although it's fast Chinese food, it's way more authentic than Panda Express and I would choose this place over it any day. read more

My husband and I are currently moving to Temecula. After a a day of cleaning and moving we were starving! The husband wanted Chinese food but almost all the Chinese spots were closed except Dragon Express. Made it just 30 mins before they closed. The concept of ordering is just like Panda Express but the food here is SO MUCH BETTER! The food here is excellent! I got a 2 item plate with half fried rice and half chow mein and my entrees were orange chicken and honey chicken. Chow mein wasn't greasy. There was actual big chunks of chicken instead of being mostly the breaded part, except the tiny baby pieces but it be impossible to get chicken in those pieces. The honey chicken seems to be the popular entree because there was a group of guys in front of us and they all ordered honey chicken. I did prefer the honey chicken over the orange chicken but nonetheless it was still perfection. Fair price. Big portions! I had left overs for the next day! Great customer service. The lady and gentleman that served us were very friendly and kind. I recommend giving this spot a try and this will defiantly be our new spot if we need to do some Chinese take out :) read more

I decided to order shimp Chow Main from the menu. Instead of cooking my oder fresh. They took the leftover chow main from the food warmer counter and re-cooked with shrimps. If I wanted a leftover soggy chow main from the food warmer, I would have ordered a combo instead. Will never return here. When you just add shimps in a pre-cooked soggy chow main. So many businesses skip on portions since Covid but this place keeps it 100%. The cooking oil had gone bad so all of the food was a dark brown color and was inedible. It was disgusting! So gross. It was all thrown away. To make matters worse, the owner herself refused to refund the $20, accusing my wife and I of lying and looking for a free meal!! The Mandarin chicken was tender and had very little flavor.I asked for teriyaki sauce on the side and to my surprise they do not have teriyaki sauce. The barbecue pork although it looked okay and was probably the best tasting part of my meal. Taking a bite into it the middle was cold. I had to use the microwave to heat it up longer. If you're hungry and want a ton of food, this is the place to go. Dragon Express is not the best Chinese take out in town but it gets the job done. You can order a two item plate for 7 dollars and have leftovers for two days depending on how much you eat. They really hook you up with quantity here. With that being said, the quality is just average. The food is heavily fried. The honey chicken is one of my faves here but this last time I had it I really couldn't taste any chicken. It was basically crispy batter and sauce. The same goes for the Orange chicken. What usually never dissapoints me here are the cream cheese wontons. Mmmm. We also got some cream cheese wontons and an egg roll. The portions were huge, as everyone said. They kept packing the food in to the containers more than you see at Panda Express for sure. The quality was pretty solid in general. The chicken was decent, the beef was above average for express chinese food. The flavor was was really good. The only strange thing was that the cream cheese wontons were kind of sweet tasting. Unusual, but not bad if you normally dip into sweet and sour sauce anyways. Summary: Great deal for the price.
