This place is always a go-to for me, very helpful, friendly staff and the food is amazing. Ordering food from here always is a treat, their Crab Rangoons are great as well as the General Tso's. They even have other stuff like French fries and Mozzarella sticks, and the Mozzarella sticks are very unique here because of how they are cooked it makes them really taste wonderful. The inside is nice and calm usually as well, offering utensils and napkins and other typical stuff. Love this place so much. read more

Sitting on a corner strip mall location is a busy restaurant. The off street parking is a clear indication that the food is good. I ordered a General Tso chicken with no broccoli and a shrimp egg roll. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was portioned to feed two people and delicious. Be mindful that General Tso is spicy and it's true heat. read more

This is your average call in and carry-out restaurant. They do have maybe 4 tables inside, but truly nothing fancy and I'm okay with that. It's a great lunch spot if you work in Hopewell or Fort Lee, as it's just outside of the gate. They stay busy with people calling and coming in to pickup, but are very quick most times with only a 10-15 min wait for an order. The prices can't be beat, and they have some lunch combos that come with a canned soda for around $11. I enjoy the lomein, which on the lunch combo also comes with fried rice (kind of rare), and the Mongolian beef. This is a quick and affordable go to if in the area and looking for a quick and cheap lunch or dinner. read more

Prices on website don't coincide with actual charges. Guy told me the online menu is five to eight years old. Told him it is their current website not a menu on Yelp or Menus.com. Felt bait and switch with his explanation. We refused ordering. If he gets off his butt and rectifies his website falsehoods, we may try in future. Until then, Katcha Thai will have our business in this area. read more

It's not fancy and the menu it the biggest but the quality is fantastic and you definitely get your monies worth! This is our go-to place when we want to order Chinese food. They're always super quick! read more

I have been coming here to get my food for at least 3 years now. Management is always friendly and pleasant. The place is always neat n clean. The food is always good n they do not charge extra for more bean sprouts or scallions when I place my order. I like my broccoli double steamed n extra gravy on my rice with my beef and broccoli. I'm from NY so there is certain style n flavor for Chinese food that I look for. I brought my daughter here when she visited from Cali n she was very pleased with her food order n the price. She wished they had place like this where she lives. Sadly they only have Panda Express read more

My go to take out spot for Chinese food in the Tricities area. I have been a regular patron for over a decade. There are a few tables for dining in. Although the place could use an update. Some of my favorites include egg drop soup, chicken teriyaki sticks and their chow fun noodles. Lunch specials are a fulfilling portion. Only thing missing are the fortune cookies. read more

This my favorite local Chinese food place. Service is always quick, food is delicious.

The food was delicious honestly . The boneless ribs were amazing !!!! And the shrimp fried rice did not disappoint either ! I highly recommend. I wasn't too impressed with the orange chicken however but other than that it was great food and great service except for the teenager that works there . She did come off a little rude but then again she's young . Definitely think everyone should try this place . read more

We ordered a family meal it came with 2 soups, 2 entree, 2 rice containers and 2 egg rolls, we added chicken Lo mein. The portions were big, the containers they came in were the plastic food prep containers which is awesome, the egg rolls weren't soggy with oil, the Lo mein was really really good the chicken in it was kind of weird but didn't bother me too much. I think next time I'd just get vegetable Lo Mein. Over all experience was great, they were open on Christmas which was so great! read more

I been eating at this restaurant for a long time. I have tried many items from their menu and their great! Their fried rice is not greasy, fresh and made to order. Upon your order they make your protein aswell. I love their Crab Rangoon, crispy, creamy and smooth not heavy great taste. Their meat taste fresh. They are super busy during lunch time but they still get your food in a reasonable time. read more

The food is great!!! The service is top notch, I would definitely recommend this place!!

My favorite Chinese food in VA by far!. Staff is friendly and have good rapports with the community.Tried their dragon and Phenix for the first time which was extremely delicious and fresh. They gave a good amount of chicken and decent amount of shrimp. The shrimp lo mein was a also fresh and delicious, oh and they also have bean sprouts here which seems extremely hard to find in Chineses restaurants down here in recent. All and all great food and taste almost as good as my NY Chinese food. read more

Food is amazing, service is fast and the crew are professional. Jack the owner is always about the customer.

I ordered delivery from here and enjoyed my early dinner. It was delivered to base quickly and everything was still warm. Neatly package and didn't have any food or sauces leaking all over the place like I sometimes get from other restaurants. I order the Spicy Chicken with rice, which comes with an egg roll. I also had an order of the Cream Cheese Wontons; fresh, hot, and delicious. I'm not going to lie....I ate all of this by myself. The fried rice that came with the spicy chicken surprisingly has much more flavor than other Chinese restaurants, and the spicy chicken went well with it. Reasonable prices and large portions. I'll be ordering from here again. read more

Food was hot and very good. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. Will definitely go back General Tso 's Chicken excellent.

I'd give this place 4 stars but the environment and ambience makes it a 3. Listen, I haven't issues with my food and I'm very satisfied whenever I order here. Something's are good and some I wouldn't order again but I would try a few things off their menu which I have like, the general tso chicken which is good. You can do the combo and get pork fired rice and an egg roll which is what I normally do. Then I've also tried their kung pao chicken which is much like panda express but tastes better tbh. Their crab ragoons are additive! ive also tried their egg wonton drop soup its nice to have in the winter but i think bamboo garden does it way better. Their dragon and Phoenix is good but my other half is a bit sensitive to shrimp and thew up... I am almost certain it could have either been the shrimp or broccoli. However I very much enjoyed my plate... I've tired their roast pork lo mein it's a bit dry and could use a bit more sauce.. their bourbon chicken is very sweet for my taste buds but I had left overs as they definitely put a lot of chicken.. All in all for the price you get your moneys worth of food but again it's a bit of a hit or miss. So try different things off their menu as I did and find what you'll enjoy. We did and we go back time and time again. Also the customer service is good too. read more

Good food, and extensive menu. restaurant, in my opinion. Good quality and great service!

I'd give no stars or half a star if possible. My boyfriend loves Chinese food so I said why not try this place. WRONG! Do not go here unless you want to spend the night in the bathroom. The food is gross. Nothing good or authentic about it. It's like they didn't even try to make the food edible. We could even get past the second bite of food because of how weird and gross it tasted. We had egg rolls and two chicken dishes. Never again! Please close this place down. read more

decent little Chinese spot in the Hopewell area. Its not the NYC type of Chinese I'm a costumed to but it does the trick and hits the spot when you need a quick bite to eat. Only down side chinese food in VA is pretty expensive but I guess its a VA thing. Overall its a good spot and working near by will be a repeat customer here read more

We had some Chinese food for lunch here yesterday and it was good but not the best I've ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was a little too crispy for me. The dumplings, fried rice, and egg drop soup were very yummy. They delivery to Fort Lee and other homes of course. Finally decided to try out Dragon express after hearing several friends order from there. I got the crab Rangoon, boneless ribs, beef lo mein, and sweet and sour pork. Crab Rangoon was good crispy outside with a sweet and savory cheese filled center. The dumpling were really good I couldn't tell if they were homemade or not but they were delicious and the dipping sauce on the side was perfect! Beef lo mein was also a hit, the noodles tasted of Smokey garlic and soy sauce I can't explain it but it was like elevated hibachi noodles with all the other ingredients of a mein. The boneless ribs were cut small and were a little tasteless, they were served in this sauce which at first I thought was oil but it wasn't. it helped give a little more flavor but still it was lacking flavor. Finally the sweet and sour pork was eh the pork seemed over cooked and it wasn't very crispy. Overall I enjoyed what I got and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I tried the Singapore noodles that were the best I've had in a long time. The curry was so good.

I've never been a fan of Chinese take out because they are usually oily and generally not healthy for you, however this is one of the best take out places if you're looking for a quick cheap meal or if you're on a cheat day for your health. First off what makes this place a 4 star is the quality of food. It's actually really good and all the guests I've taken here agreed. Their menu is very broad and their lunch menu combo is amazing with their potion size being perfect. Secondly the price. For the quality of food and the portion they serve, the price is cheap. For example their lunch combo is a full plate of meat and rice with a can drink for under $5. I thought that was an amazing deal. Anyways, I come here once in a while for a quick meal and I really love it. I definitely recommend people to give this place a try. Parking can be rough sometimes since they share the lot with other stores but their staff are very friendly and the facilities are fairly kept clean. read more

Your typical Chinese take out. The kitchen looked well maintained. If you haven't ordered over the phone before, I wouldn't..they'll rush you and you may take em rudely, its obviously the language barrier. I'm excited for fried wontons and the general tso chicken. Now for the Aftermath..... The General Tso's wasn't spicy....so that's a bummer...fried wontons were typical and the portions were hearty. read more

Quick and simple! This restaurant reminds me of a place in Alma, Michigan. If you want a quick and easy Chinese fix, come and order from this place. I ordered my usual Hot & Sour Soup and Sweet and Sour Chicken - can't go wrong with that order. It was good! I'd definitely come back and order from this place again. The prices are good too, plus they have lunch specials from 11AM - 3PM for $4.89 and $5.09. Check it out, they have some good choices. They're located near the Starbucks located on Oaklawn. read more

I come to this place all the time! They are always happy and cheerful. The food is always hot and fresh. You get so much food and the prices are more than reasonable. They also deliver which is a plus!!! The teriyaki chicken on a stick is my favorite along with the egg rolls. You can dine in or carry out. read more
