Sometimes you just want a solid lunch that fills you up without breaking the bank, and Tap House 41 delivers exactly that. The food was excellent, the service was good, and the prices were right. No complaints across the board. The place itself has a nice interior too. Clean, good looking space that makes you want to stick around and enjoy your meal. The Verdict: Tap House 41 is a great lunch spot. Excellent food, good service, fair prices, and portions that won't leave you wanting. Four stars for a place that gets the fundamentals right.

Both our burgers were dry and tasteless, so we were glad for the toppings. We loved the fries and the order of Tater tot nachos. Both a solid 5 stars! The service is great, but the location is a bit hard to find. It is located in an old mall with no signage to tell you where to go. We ended up calling and they directed us in. Fried pickles spears with the rock n roll sauce were great. I wouldn't have ordered these except my server recommended them out of all the apps, so I went with that. Fried things at places like this usually lack flavor and are just salty, fried bar food. These had some kick. The rock n roll sauce was like a Mayo with Frito's Chili Cheese Twists, so they were yummy. Tilapia on wild rice was ok, but it's tilapia, so how amazing can it be, right? Broccoli wasn't too over cooked and it still had a healthy green color, so I was happy with that. And the fries were a tad greasy, but they came out hot and crunchy. I think if they let the oil drain off them a bit more under a heat lamp, they'd hold their crispness a bit longer. Oh, and it was an entire plate of fries, so portions were generous. Lastly, everything was served very quickly. The place wasn't super-busy, but it wasn't dead and I was happy about the timeliness. I ordered an app first then placed an order for my entree after munching on that. And I was out done in 45 minutes. Granted, I was eating alone, but still. If you enjoy meat, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I am a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) and I have a sneaking suspicion that their beef and chicken options have much more developed flavors.

The food was great and the attention to everyone's needs was superior! I'd call this a sports bar with a bright atmosphere. Definitely family friendly! Plenty of menu choices and what looked like a well stocked bar. This is a newer establishment in town where there used to be coffee shop. I think The Combine will serve the lovely town of Garretson well and help make out of towners feel welcome and relieved to have such a nice place to eat without having to leave town.
