Just an update.... my PCP prescribed the medication she wouldn't even bother talking to me about... And I got approved by the health insurance company and then got my medication the same week. Find a doctor that won't consider you and your needs to be a waste of their time and their staffs' time. Because this doctor only cares about her checklist, and not yours....as a patient..... Pros: free wifi, wireless printer if you need something printed, and wait wasn't long at all. The office location is relatively new, so nothing worn down yet. read more

This is the worse doctor I've ever been to. Within the first minute out of 6-7 total mins she saw me, she was already annoyed that I was even in her presence. She looked at my lab report from my previous doctor and said "what is this test that your doctor did for you, I don't even know what this test is." And then proceeded to google it in front of me and then tell me she can't do anything for me. She was condescending and rude right from the start, She never assessed anything during the appointment. I continued to ask her for suggestions and she was like you need to pay for over the counter items that I can't prescribe you and then when I asked her to elaborate more in which specific items since I don't mind paying, she was even more annoyed. It was a total waste of time and I wish I listened to the other reviews. She should be a shame of herself. read more

zero stars if I could. Worst doctor I've ever had. On the first visit she needed me to get blood work so she can see what procedure to do, and I asked her if I could get blood test at her office on the spot but she scolded at me saying I need to get blood test at another location. As if what I'm asking is such a ridiculous request. On the second visit, she was just as rude and condescending. I was asking very basic questions on whether I should continue my medication based on a lab report and she just scolded back saying she can't say for say. Her tone was as if I asked a really dumb ignorant question. This time she said her nurse can do blood work on me on the spot! what is wrong with this doctor! So incoherent and inconsistent! The entire vibe from both visits I got from her was very transactional and just wanted to push visits, lab reports, and X-rays to get paid while not caring at all about the patients wellbeing. Even though my insurance covers her, I'd rather pay to see another doctor than visit her again. That is saying a lot!! Everyone, please stay away from this doctor or write your own experience with her. She doesn't deserve to be a doctor and own a practice. DO NOT GO to this doctor... her bedside manner is the WORSE!! I was a referral to this doctor. She didn't know me but made me feel stupid. She was rude to all her patients... yelling at them that it was their fault that didn't follow the prescription. She shouldn't be a doctor with no compassion at all for the young and old patients. Take your business elsewhere where they care about their patient's well-being. I left with high anxiety. I read these reviews before I went to see her but decided to give her a shot anyways. I never leave bad reviews but I must report that the other negative reviews are exactly my experience. She was one of the worst doctors I've EVER been to. She was dismissive, rude and negligent. She acted so inconvenienced by my very educated and practical questions, rolled her eyes at me, interrupted me. This woman should not be treating people because her negligence is a hazard to their health. She sums up what's wrong with the system. To summarize, Dr. Feng ignored my elevated catecholamine levels (3x the normal range), told me I was fine (when I questioned whether I should get more testing), and sent me on my merry way. I immediately sought a second opinion with an endocrinologist at NYU Langone, and I was found to have neuroendocrine cancer. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion immediately! So in short, visit this doctor if you want her to do absolutely nothing and tell you you're fine when in fact you have cancer. She did not listen to anything I said during the visit, which lasted all of 5 minutes, before shooing me out of her office. I also told her my symptoms included anxiety and depression and she scoffed and told me most young adults my age have those symptoms. I should have left first thing when I was waiting in the waiting room and overheard this doctor yelling at a pharmacy rep. This lady should not be a doctor. read more

This doctor wanted my daughter to sign the offices own HIPPA form that said that the patient can restrict the offices permission to share her information but the Doctor's office can disregard her restrictions. She did not want to sign a form giving them such sweeping powers and we were then told she would not be seen if she did not sign it. We asked to speak to the doctor and the doctor simply had the receptionist tell us that if we did not like it we could find another doctor. We tried to find a solution like crossing out that line or signing a HIPPA restricting permission to the insurance company and the doctor refused, or rather she had the receptionist tell us she refused. This doctor does not care at all about patient's rights and has no respect for patients and their concerns. I am in a sense happy we found this out before putting my daughter in her care. Rude staff who demanded I pay the full cost of visit when I had insurance they accepted. Dr. Feng only saw me for 3 minutes and didn't ask about my family history or symptoms. Only brushed me off and kept interrupting me when I spoke. Flushing office also didn't have proper equipment and staff training. The women who took my blood wasn't even a real nurse, only a PA student. She poked me 3x until blood finally came out. Stay away. read more

This doctor doesn't even deserve a star. I was diagnosed hypothyrodism when I did blood test with my obgyn so I did 2nd blood test with my primary care doctor which the result came up with normal thyroid function. The 2 blood tests were done in 1 month period. Due to different results, I came to Dr. Yun Feng to seek for a solution to see if she can diagnose me & give me another blood test which I'm hoping will show which one is the most correct one. When I showed her my previous blood test results done from other doctors, she just considered the latest test result that everything is normal & nothing she can do about it. When I told her I came to her to get an expert opinion about my thyroid situation, she refused to consider that there were 2 different test result and started raising her voice. She didn't even do any examination on me, she didn't even ask for any question about my medical history. She just seem want to brush me off saying that everything is okay now. When I pressed for more thorough examination she became rude and patronizing and in the end she just stood up & walked out of the office without saying anything. Took my mom to see her yesterday with the blood test results from her primary doctor with elevated numbers on the T4. Saw her two years ago with lower number but still higher than normal. I remember at that time she said since my mother's number was just slightly off that she didn't have to take medicine. Yesterday, she sang a different song. The minute she walked into the office and looking at the numbers she said in a really loud voice accusing me of never getting back to her about putting my mom on medicine. My mom and I both remember her telling us at that time there was no need for medication and I told her that. Upon hearing that she became very combative and talked to us in a very condescending tone. All she kept saying was she wrote down everything from two years ago and she can't be wrong. Did not lift a finger to examine my mom and did not bother to look at us. Started talking to my mom in Mandarin and I said my mom speaks Cantonese, so right away she calls in an interpreter even thought I told her I can do the translating from English to Chinese. All the time we were in the room with the translator, she just kept typing away and never look at us. She must get some rebate from the pharmaceutical company because all she kept saying was my mom needs to be on medicine. She need to learn some bedside manners and to listen to the patients concerns. read more

I went to Dr. Feng to treat my Diabetes....she NEVER examined me.,...did no blood work.,...not even listened to my heart ....all she did every visit was give me sample Diabetes drugs which saved me lots of money and I appreciated it very much... With all the meds she gave me my condition never improved.... I think she's a "quack". read more

I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. I have been a patient of Dr. Feng's for three years and I have always found her to be very responsive to my questions. I need regular prescriptions for a chronic condition. A former endocrinologist required me to schedule an appointment every three months just for prescription refills, even if there was no change in my condition. I appreciate that Dr. Feng provides me with extended prescriptions (and she is generous with samples). She has always ended the appointment by asking about any other physical complaints/conditions and she has never balked at ordering tests. She keeps to her schedule (unlike every other physician I've seen) and I have not had to wait more than five minutes after my appointment time to see her. Please do not believe any positive reviews from ZocDoc of this doctor! The reviews on there are all lies! I have been suffering with my aliment for 5+ years. I have seen all the specialists you can think of, to out rule any real serious abnormality or disease, that now all points to my reproductive system and the very imbalanced hormones that ruin me & my colon for most of the month. Dr. Yun Feng apparently has no real sense of knowledge of her duties or expertise as a Endocrinologist. She also does not know how to help people medically in general, as a supposed but declared Internal Medicine doctor as well. If anything, she thinks only her word is creditable and drugs like anti-depressants are the answer to all incurable illnesses, if anything. The woman didn't even bother to shake my hand or greet me in or out, since this was the first (and now only time) I have seen her. Anyways, she didn't bother to ask me any real important questions about my condition, my family's medical history with metabolism disorders or even what medications I was or currently am on right now that can perhaps be causing me trouble. Nor did she ever physically exam me by my neck or lower stomach to feel any cysts. She kept on saying essentially from the beginning to the end of my visit literally, "There is nothing I can do for you" in an extremely condescending tone, arguing with me in a way & making me feel beneath her & further hopeless about how to deal with this unexplained ailment I have been dealing with since I graduated from college. She even said I had to deal with it or "manage" it. "I HAVE DEALT WITH IT, DOCTOR and IT'S AFFECTING ALL ASPECTS OF MY LIFE!!!". I wanted to f**king yell at her this, what I was thinking at the time, but I kept my patience and composure. There are way better doctors out there in NYC but they are very hard to find, trust me. She stated no other holistic approaches either besides "diet and exercise" but I have been eating right & losing weight. She also stated that even if I lost 20+ more pounds, my condition is not guaranteed to go away. WTH? Tell me...what kind of human being is she, if not the absolute worst doctor I have ever encountered in my adult life??? Dr. Feng generalized my illness ahead of time, without having any tests done yet, not even suggesting an ultrasound of her own, stating "that's another doctor's job to do or determine" and "how would that help me anyway to know a new report?", which was the WHOLE F**KING POINT of seeing her--I don't necessarily need a diagnosis but how to really beat whatever this is, even if it is incurable. Even though she claims she is not an reproductive organ specialist, she stated that she is going to diagnose me with a reproductive organ declared disease. She even told me to "Google" it, when that has been already been out-ruled 4 times over that diagnosis for me. WTF? Unbelievable! She obviously doesn't know what she is even talking about. Dr. Feng completely lacks professionalism and bedside matter for patients.I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to see her. The only good thing about her office is her staff doing their jobs effectively and with more humility, professionalism and class than she ever will.
