The whole area is quite clean and convenient to get to. They mostly have Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking professionals there. Everyone can speak English as well. I used to go to the doctors in the Chinatown location in Manhattan, but then switched to this location. They used to be housed in a different building but switched to this new complex. The whole building is Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. This newer location is clean and modern compared to the old one they were housed in. My experience here so far has been great. I'm not too sure about how it differs from other doctors, but whenever I experience a health-related issue, I can contact them and I will have an appointment within 1-2 days. Sometimes in some cases, I've also been able to call in through a video call or phone call instead of appearing in person. They have been my doctors for over a decade and will continue to be for a while.

I am writing to bring a serious concern to the attention of Dr. Chou regarding the conduct of a…read morestaff member at the front desk. If this issue is not addressed, it may continue to negatively impact your practice and patient experience. Based on what I have seen, many of the negative Google reviews appear to be related to this individual's behavior. My recent experience with him was extremely disappointing. I have never encountered such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment in a medical office before. During my visit, he requested a $200 deposit from me despite the fact that I have insurance, explaining that it was required in case my insurance did not cover the visit. In my experience, if insurance does not cover a charge, patients typically receive a a bill afterward. However, he insisted that my situation was "different." I agreed to pay the deposit after being told that the money would be returned to me at a later visit. When I returned and asked about receiving my refund, he claimed that I had only given $150. He then asked me for a receipt from nearly a year ago, which I do not recall ever receiving. When I attempted to calmly discuss the issue, his attitude became increasingly disrespectful. He repeatedly spoke over me and argued rather than trying to resolve the matter. When I asked how much money I would be getting back, he refused to give me a clear answer and continued the argument. What was even more concerning was that instead of trying to resolve the situation or allowing me to speak directly with my doctor, he encouraged me to change doctors. As a patient, I believe I should be allowed to speak with my physician regarding concerns related to my care or billing matters. Preventing or discouraging that communication feels inappropriate and interferes with the normal relationship between a patient and their doctor. I want to emphasize that Dr. Chou has always been a kind, caring, and attentive physician, and I truly appreciate the care she provides. Unfortunately, due to this repeated negative experience with the front desk staff member--and the fact that I was discouraged from speaking directly with my doctor--I now feel that I have no choice but to change doctors. It is very disappointing that I must leave a physician I respect because of the conduct of someone representing the practice at the front desk. I hope this concern will be taken seriously so that other patients do not have similar experiences in the future.

This visit left me deeply disappointed and shocked. Dr. Chou -- especially the male staff member at…read morethe front desk -- displayed attitudes and behaviors that violated the most basic standards of patient respect. As a patient seeking medical help, I was met with rough and unprofessional treatment by the staff member. During the two and a half hour wait, I received no information or support and instead faced disrespect. Their conduct created unnecessary stress and anxiety, undermining any sense of safety or trust. Most concerning is that such behavior occurs when a patient needs support the most. Patient dignity and rights must be protected, yet they were disregarded and harmed by Dr. Chou and her front desk male staff member. Their actions violated professional standards and harmed patient rights. This is unacceptable. (One star because zero is not an option)

Her staff and practice are super nice and I never waited long for my scheduled appointments. After my miscarriage in April 2019 under the care of a different obgyn in Flushing I suffered from secondary infertility. Which led me to turn to many different ObGynd, since that doctor left fetal tissue inside of me when i insisted he remove it, which he did and sent to the lab for testing. I saw a total of 9 obgyns from 2019 to 2021 from Long Island to Forest Hills to Fresh Meadows to Flushing. Never thought I would get pregnant naturally, let alone have a baby and here I am on maternity leave with my sweet little boy. I dont know if it's luck or what but Dr.Wang did prescribe me things along the way that may have helped me carry this baby to term. Most notable to me and my husband is that Dr.Wang delivered our baby boy. My first baby, my doctor came the next day for 2 minutes and left...literally "How are you, good? Didnt expect the baby to come early, I will see you in a month, call my office to make an appointment." Dr.Wang came to the hospital after I checked in, she witnessed me pass out from low blood pressure and jumped right in with the other hospital staff to revive me and test to see what went wrong. She came back 17 hours later at 3am when the hospital called her to tell her the baby was coming soon and she delivered in the middle of the night at 3am, she stayed to make sure I was ok. List of doctors I saw post miscarriage, Dr. Nerenberg, Dr.Qiao, Dr.Cindy, Northwell Health Feretility Center, Dr Scholl, Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Felix Cohen, few staff at Garden Obgyn, whom I can no longer remember the names of. But... yea.... my point is it has been a long struggle. Not saying those doctors are bad, but a few really pushed hard on fertility treatments and essentially wrote me off for getting pregnant natually.

I was happy but now I do regret. My experience is not good at all. As my fellow yelpers pointed out, the receptionists are so rude, arrogant and impatient!! After my exam (which was a rush and I don't feel it personal), I was referred out to do a screening test but when I called the place I was referred to, they told me that the earliest they can do is early February. So I called back the receptionist and asked them if there are other places they could recommend and one of them literally said just let her wait, she is not important/ in no rush anyways. HOW DARE HER just determine it for me whether my situation is important or not as a receptionist?!! And of course I am in a rush cause I just want to get everything done and never see your face again. Clearly she is not putting patients first! Hello lady, can I sue you if anything serious happened and I am not treated on time just because you are not responsible? Very sick and uncomfortable experience to recall upon.

The doctor herself was very unprofessional and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain why I was there. She was doing a check-up and insisted that everything was fine. I asked her for an ultrasound and she hesitated but after I kept asking, she did it to find that something was there. Why don't you listen to what your patients want before making your own judgments? She kept insisting on doing extra stuff that I didn't want to do, most likely to have more stuff to bill to my insurance? And later she suddenly left the room without answering any of my questions/telling me what to do to treat my condition. I had to wait another 30 minutes just to speak to her about this just to have her cut me off again. She didn't even remember who I was. I guess that's the problem with scheduling too many patients for one sitting. They didn't even ask to make a follow-up appointment with me to make sure everything's okay. They are super unprofessional and if you're not a Chinese speaker, like I am, they will be ruder to you, considering how they treated me vs. all of the Chinese speaking patients that were there at the same time. I will definitely NOT be coming back and suggest that you AVOID this place and save your time/money.

Each visit included a urine test, internal and external sonograms -- all of which felt more like requirements than options. It quickly became clear that they try to schedule as many appointments as possible, likely to bill more. Even after my pregnancy was confirmed, they kept asking me to return -- sometimes every other week -- for unnecessary follow-ups. Each visit involved at least an hour-long wait. I was initially told the practice was in-network with my insurance. However, after a few visits, I started receiving unexpectedly high bills. I was then informed I needed to sign over the insurance reimbursement checks directly to them. I did this for a few visits, but eventually stopped going because it felt like they were more focused on billing than care. Even after providing them with all the checks I received, I'm still being sent bills. I contacted their billing department multiple times -- first in November, when they told me it was just an automated message and not to worry, and now again, only to be told I need to contact my insurance and have the checks reissued. Save yourself the stress and go with another practice. This one has been nothing but a hassle.
