I have been receiving Medical Care from Dr Leon Weinstein for at least 20 years . I find Dr…read moreWeinstein to be the most caring doctor I've ever had and I am 65 years of age . He has taken care of me since I'm 45 years old when I went to him I was in poor shape he helped me back to vitality . He discovered that I was diabetic and has helped me ever since I have been in several accidents and even had pneumonia as to which Dr Weinstein cared enough to come and visit me at the hospital . Even when I was in a motorcycle accident and he found out that I was in the hospital for that he came and saw me he came and saw me at the rehab I was in recovering from the motorcycle accident in my opinion he is the most terrific doctor and if you're lucky enough to go to this man he will help you better than any other primary health care physician you will ever meet . His courteous staff and his wife are very efficient and professional and Dr Weinstein takes his time to explain your illness and what you should do about it and the prescriptions that he prescribes truly help you he knows exactly who to send you to if it's a situation that you need endocrinologist or pulmonologist or any other needs he will send you to the right orthopedic doctor he will recommend the right cardiologist he's most fantastic doctor just recently he sent me to the correct ear doctor in which this doctor remove the wax build up in my ears from construction work then he gave me a hearing test he completely relieved my hearing loss and was so efficiently professional it blew my mind . Dr Weinstein is more than my doctor he is my friend . And if you looking for a professional doctor that really cares I recommend Dr Weinstein and his staff and swear by his professional help you will never find a more caring doctor in the rest of your life .

During that time I endured high levels of stress, and dealt with an incident that left me with some PTSD and health issues, of which my job didn't really give two craps about. The past few years have been really rough on me, and it's been hard to get answers for what was going on. To be honest, it put me in a bit of a funk. I have to admit the waiting room in this office kind of gives me a bit of anxiety. There are a lot of older people sitting around gossiping, complaining... people answer their phones, eat snacks and chew loudly... I was sweating in there during my first visit, but Dr. Kangadis is great. He and his office staff helped me get great care (I even forgive the huge bruise I got after bloodwork, haha), get sent out for tests, and listened to what was going on. It's really hard to find that. He seems to be very busy (understandable!), but still makes you feel like you are being listened to, and cared about. Thanks for making me feel important, and making me laugh, too!

Everyone is friendly, the office is always clean, and their scheduling is excellent. They are very good at following up, double-checking results and treatment, and explain correlations that don't seem important but have definely improved my health. The specialists I was referred to by Dr. Gao were top notch. I cannot imagine going to a different doctor. Absolutely the best.

Because of COVID restrictions we had to knock on the door when arriving for our appointment and were instructed to sanitize and where to sit at a safe, social distance from others. The check in process was easy and simple, especially if you use the ZocDoc app in advance to fill out your forms beforehand (although I imagine with the great front desk staff it would be a pleasant experience w/out the app as well)! I waited about 20 minutes which was not bad at all, I was offered water & updated when I would be seen which was nice. Meeting Dr.Santos was a great experience, she was friendly and attentive to my needs. The medical assistant working was also very friendly, personable and helpful! He did my intake for my visit, blood pressure and blood work. I went in for an annual physical and Dr.Santos did a thorough check up and then we sat together discussing my Heath and any questions/concerns I had. She was super helpful addressing my concerns, and seemed very genuine and thoughtful about addressing my questions. It really was such a pleasant experience. I especially loved how they did the blood work/urine test right after my appointment right down the hallway. Super convenient! Overall the staff was very friendly, the office itself was clean & appealing and all enforcements were in place in terms of covid safety protocols. I enjoyed my visit & will now look forward to my appointments in the future! Thank you Dr. Santos & Staff :)

I was a bit nervous on finding a new doctor after sticking with the same family doctor for all those years. I got the recommendation of Dr Huang from a friend and my pharmacist from Newtown Pharmacy on Justice Ave in Elmhurst Queens. I went to Dr Huang in early August for my annual physical. They were very busy. They have two receptionist, the phones rang nonstop. During my physical, they were very thorough. They did EKG, urine and blood sample. All the standard stuff. My wife, parents, and uncle also went to see Dr Huang and they all had positive experiences. Dr Huang was extra attentive to my dad because he has a lot of pre-existing conditions. I am thankful for that.

Not to mention then having to pay out of pocket for the medication itself. That is absolutely absurd! Talk about greed! You would think being a medical provider help out your patient especially if you're aware the medication is needed. I was baffled as to why wouldn't the doctor give a few refills now it makes perfect sense! Everytime you need one you call them and if you have insurance they slap your insurance with a fee and if you don't have insurance well cash it up! Time for a new doctor soon as the new insurance kicks in. What happened to doctors actually caring about their patients? This one is motivated by money. Takes 2 seconds to call or send an electronic request to the pharmacy.

Let me give more examples of his top-notch care: Dr. Friedman: Sits each patient down in his office following examination to discuss good news - like he did yesterday, as well as this morning- or reveals alternatives to optimal health. Is never an alarmist for apparently minor concerns, but will follow up with the right consultative sources for the best outcome. Is consistently thoroughly backed by many tens of thousands of patients and a panel of other long-standing, well-seasoned physicians in his office. Has an assistant, Tokie, who provides consistently approachable, professional, very caring help. Has 3 patients who I've known for years. These patients are now with advanced age. They are naturally still alive and doing well for their age. I'm firmly confident that my parents would have been alive much longer and better if had been his patient. Their Cancer and Heart Disease could have been prevented, curtailed, or cared for with the best - yes, right here in Forest Hills. Dr. Friedman is a real Mensch of the first order.
