If your loan goes smoothly, you might wonder why you have to pay these people all those fees at closing. However, sometimes paperwork and obtaining a loan isn't a walk in the park. That's when you really want a local lender who is going to take care of your needs. Also, having someone local is good because if you go with a place online, there might be time differences that make communication more difficult. Michael would tell you himself that our loan didn't breeze by his desk with no hiccups. In fact quite the opposite. However, the entire time I was grateful to a local lender who cared about our loan. I know for a fact Michael went well out of his way to make sure our loan was processed. It's likely your home loan will go super smooth.
