They charge $200 more for ceramic tint. I called for a price to get my car "tinted" and he gave me a price. He could have mentioned the $200 for ceramic over the phone. Instead he decided to show me the heat lamp tactic and tell me it was $200 more to keep the heat out! Decided to take my business elsewhere because of the lack of transparency. I'm back with an updated review. This time, I decided to have all of my side windows and my rear window tinted at a darker level. Once again, I'm giving an A+ to customer service because Dr. Tint is quick, detailed, and attentive with responses. Another A+ for the quality work he has done. My reasoning for this is because I asked him to get the back and rear windows done at 5% & my front windows done at 15%. He explained the whole process on what he will be doing, ensuring that the job gets done and to my satisfaction. As a result, my windows came out completely flawless just like the previous time. If I were to describe his work, it would be 100% perfection! No bubbles nor a single dust on those tints. This is what I describe as quality work. Andy the owner/manager was great. The Hyundai Sonata only needed the back window stripped and re-tinted. It had some old tint that was starting to bubble up and I told my lady it was time to get this re-tinted. I checked out a lot of places on Yelp and all shops were charging the same price. $200 for a strip of old tint and re-tint with a new one. Dr. Tint offered a life time warranty and was fast and punctual on the appointments. He told us it would take a few hours and we dropped it off at 12 noon and was done by 2pm. His shop was located inside a Chevron gas station car wash detail service location so it made our visit very informative. Andy gave us explicit instructions on what to do and not do about the window tint. What kind of window cleaner to use and towels. He also advised my lady on using the rear window defroster in the mornings to assist the drying process. He was a true pro and did tell us if we get any bubbles or streaks on the window to bring it in and he will take care of it. He told us NOT TO USE WINDEX because of the chemical and streaks it will cause and will also tear down the tint. Experience: It was incredibly easy getting my car to the garage. It is located fairly deep in a parking lot with other businesses, but the stop signs and layout make it easy to get there. The owner was cordial and explained everything to me in a way that made sense. I felt confident trusting him with my car. It only took 3 hours and cost me about $320 for an all-around job. The results made me feel comfortable paying the price Parking and Accessibility: There is ample room outside the garage to comfortably exit your car with or without assistance. If you drop off your car and need to use a ride share service, then they would be able to drive up to the business and pick you up. Also, it's connected to a carwash, so there is a line of parking spots with vacuums where a friend can temporarily park their car to wait while you set up the job. It's a bit loud because of the vacuum cleaners, but it's not too overwhelming. Vibe: It was pretty chill. There was only one person, who I believe is the owner, working by himself. The garage is brightly lit and there are so many helpful signs on the walls that explain various aspects of window tinting. I appreciated being seen right away and how simple the process was. Two years ago, I bought a 2004 Infiniti G35 from my dad with only 54000 miles on it. Been driving it around these last 2 years with no tint on the windows. Today my brother introduced me to Dr Tint, because they did a great job on his 2014 Challenger R/T and 2019 Dodge Ram truck. When I dropped the G35 off, one of Dr Tints repeat customers was there. Run away!!!! Horrible application - Warranty is only on paper. They do not stand behind their work. Started bubbling and peeling on all windows within first year. Didn't realize that there was a warranty, so I called Mr Tint accidentally - not realizing who I had originally used and they were very nice. The gentleman with Mr Tint was very nice "Sorry this happened...just bring in the receipt...we can remove and replace at no cost to you next Wednesday..." So, I looked up the receipt & realized I actually got the tint through Dr. Tint! I apologized to the gentleman on the phone and told him I would call Dr. Tint. The paperwork says Limited Lifetime Warranty "Our high performance films are guaranteed under Limited". Dr. Tint wants to charge me another $280 (same thing I originally paid) to remove and replace. Man who answered to phone was horrible and clearly never actually honors the warranty. I've never seen window tint this poorly applied. It actually destroyed the defrost heating element in my rear window. I will never go there again. Realizing that them not "fixing" this is a blessing. They aren't capable and I don't trust them. So I brought my car here to have the old tint removed & put on new tint & when I saw defects from the old glue & bubbles he said he couldn't fix the spots where he missed the old glue & the bubbles he could not be removed. I have been taking my car to Dr Tint for the past 12 years so this 5 start review is well overdue. He's done at least 5 cars of mine (including family members cars). Quality is premium, color is premium, and I have never had an issue with bubbles, color fading or color changing. I don't want my driver and passenger doors too dark so I get 35%, and I add a windshield visor tint which makes it look really nice, and easy to see when the sun is facing you directly. The tint bubbles and comes off after a while and his guarantee is bogus. This guy is a crook, I've had 3 cars tinted there within a couple of years, and have referred so many people to him because of his dishonest lifetime guarantee. After 5 years already, they' are coming off on all windows and sides on all 3 cars. I went back to get them fixed based on his lifetime guarantee, not knowing he is false advertising. He told me $200 to fix each car because the guarantee is on parts only which cost him probably $5-$10. I brought 3 cars here in the past and was satisfied with the work. I trusted this place and brought all my cars here to get tinted every 5 years because my company requires me to have a new one. So I've been coming here for a very long time. I had issues on my 3rd car when I noticed the tint was turning purple. This was on the 5th year I had this car and I tinted a few weeks right I purchased it. I called and ask them if this was normal because I never seen it turn purple before. I was told from the person that answered the phone was it was because I bring my car to the car wash alot. Due to the chemicals used in the car wash, it turns the tint purple. Thus, they will not replace it. I did some research online to try to convince myself that this was true and it wasn't because of the car wash. It was because of the tint they used. I'm not sure if it was bait and switch but I never had trouble with my other cars in the past and I still have my CRV that they installed in 2000 and it still looks great. The problem was my 2010 Prius tint turning purple and that left a sour taste when they said it was my fault for bringing my car to the car wash. Which is weird because I always brought my CRV to the car wash it doesn't turn purple. Unfortunately, I have my 4th car and will have to look elsewhere to have a tint install and this place that I have been to for more than 10 years is making go look elsewhere. read more

Very professional, explained the benefits of the tint, showed us examples of how the tint would look by pointing out other cars in the lot with similar tint. This was so much better for me than just looking at the glass panes of different percentages. He was clear and concise and I was especially impressed by his ability to hear what I was saying while also answering my husband's questions. Took a few hours and I couldn't be happier the results. I got 50% on the front windows and 35% on the back so there wouldn't be a big difference. Excellent value, high quality work and they took great care of our car! The owner/installer is very nice and all. But, the "shop" is an outdoor tent basically! So, for window tinting, it defies logic a bit since any dust or dirt flying around will affect the installation. I had my car windows tinted at this place because I was quoted a pretty good price. After I picked up my car and brought it home, I noticed bubbles and sand particles underneath the tint right away. I was told give it a few weeks to allow the tint to "cure". After a few weeks, it didn't go away....obviously because it was actual grains of sand and dirt. All five windows had this problem. After bringing it back a couple times to get it redone, I gave up. The windows would still have a few sand particles or dirt underneath it. Now, the owner/installer was totally accommodating and really a good guy. I just wouldn't recommend this place until they move into an actual building as all auto tint installers have. read more
