The staff is usually very anxious to help out with whatever I'm looking for. I buy a lot of my mods and juices online but am beginning to use the better shops in the area like City Vape more often than companies just because they have a great selection of juice, good juice deals, the latest hot mods,all the best building materials, and is also a great place to chill out and chuck some clouds. One great thing about this shop is that every time I go there, usually there are several people either building, dripping, talking about vape related subjects, giving intermediate builders/vapers like myself practical advice etc. One last thing I'd like to mention is that this shop is an excellent place for a person new to vaping to start; the topics of battery safety, what starter mod is best, how to vape properly, subohm vaping etc etc I've heard covered. This is exactly how I was treated back in '15 when I finally committed to full time vaping and gave up cigs permanently. Whatever your experience with vaping and whatever type of device, tool, juice , building material or accessory, this is the best shop I've been to in Queens. I'd like to mention that prices on ejuice are also very good. This is the one vape shop in Astoria that I can't walk to easily and I've said and will keep saying it's worth the extra effort for me to get up there.

This small little hole in the wall market is where I get my bulgurs (type of wheat). The bulgur packages I find in other markets have darker color and isn't as clean I find it, and the smell is also very pungent. But the ones they sell in ALFRHA are clean and yellow and when you cook them they are much softer and odorless. Every time I pass by the shop my eyes would catch the giant piles of Arabic housewares stacked up against their front window. And it has always triggered my curiosity. The arrangements would include Shisha bottles, tagine plates and boxes with Arabic labels that I cannot recognize. The staff members are always friendly and never afraid to give you a smile. In fact, that's their motto didn't you know? The first thing you'd get to see upon entering their shop is a giant hand-painted sign that says 'Smile, it's free!'. A small neighborhood store with a big heart, now that's awesome. And that is why I love ALFRHA.
