The bulgur packages I find in other markets have darker color and isn't as clean I find it, and the smell is also very pungent. But the ones they sell in ALFRHA are clean and yellow and when you cook them they are much softer and odorless. Every time I pass by the shop my eyes would catch the giant piles of Arabic housewares stacked up against their front window. And it has always triggered my curiosity. The arrangements would include Shisha bottles, tagine plates and boxes with Arabic labels that I cannot recognize. The staff members are always friendly and never afraid to give you a smile. In fact, that's their motto didn't you know? The first thing you'd get to see upon entering their shop is a giant hand-painted sign that says 'Smile, it's free!'. A small neighborhood store with a big heart, now that's awesome. And that is why I love ALFRHA.
