I first started with Columbia Care but they were crazy expensive and very inconveniently located (this was 8 years ago and they're store in Brooklyn is ALWAYS closed!). Then I was with Verilife but they're out of the Bronx and stopped servicing Brooklyn. THEN I discovered Curaleaf. Well, that was a game changer. They are SO GOOD!!! I've been shopping at the Curaleaf Medical - Forest Hills, Queens dispensary since soon after that location opened in July 2018. What I like most is their competitive prices and monthly so-called "customer appreciation sale". What I dislike about Curaleaf is its lack of actual customer appreciation, its inability to keep some popular products in stock, and the fact that it has no corporate customer service whatsoever. Several years ago, I made numerous attempts to the corporate office to express my interest in doing independent affiliate marketing for them as a loyal "brand ambassador." My e-mails went ignored. One of its employees graciously helped me by inquiring with senior management herself. Those attempts also went ignored. Soon after, the company started heavily marketing their referral program. I chose not to refer my network in protest. In 2025, I applied to a cashier job opening. I expressed my interest in this opportunity to promote its products as a satisfied customer myself. This time, at least I got a kind reply from their HR department, although my application was rejected. Going back to the lack of a customer service department or phone number: in 2023, I tried Curaleaf CuraChews in lemon flavor, which caused hives. I immediately called the phone number on the product label to report the adverse reaction. However, that number was NOT IN SERVICE. I visited Curaleaf and alerted the pharmacist that the number listed on the label to "report adverse effects," (833) 470-5323, was not a working number. By law the dispensary could not accept a product return. I explained that I had no choice but to report the situation to the NYS Department of Health, and the NY Office of Cannabis Management. The pharmacist gave me back the package and advised me to discard it safely. He offered me a replacement pack CuraChews in another flavor at an extra 10% off the 35% off special running that week. I accepted having to take a loss on my original purchase. I left and walked straight to my allergy specialist's office located one block from Curaleaf, and showed him the label. He determined that my system reacted to the high amount of citric acid in the lemon flavor, and advised me to stick with the other flavors. Toward the end of 2025, my physician provided me an annual renewal of my NY Medical Cannabis Program certificate. I visited the dispensary and showed them my updated certificate. I told the front desk that I hadn't received any marketing e-mails in about one month. In early February 2026, I visited once again, saying that I still hadn't received any marketing e-mails since early October, and I lost nearly $5.00 in Loyalty Points. I visited to see what was on sale. The front desk person took a look and explained that their system still showed my expired medical cannabis certificate, even though I had presented my updated document. ??? I showed the updated version once again, and asked if I could get those lost points back. He said they had no control over adding back expired points. I was FURIOUS and left without making a purchase. It is now the middle of February 2026 and I still haven't received any weekly e-mails. I now have to check the website to see what's in stock and what's on sale. I continue to feel that I am not valued as a longtime customer. At the very least, it would be nice if they actually had a corporate customer service. The only response I get when I visit the dispensary is: "We're working on that." Hhhhh... read more

Traveled 2hrs from south Brooklyn after placing my order online for a Grassroots empire cola. Saw they had them in stock and said fuck it and took the trip over after placing my order. I got there and a man comes out of the back very unapologetically says they're out and asks me if I want something else instead. I asked if they had anything similar and he just kinda says no so I canceled the order and headed back for another 2hr train ride with nothing to show for it except a ruined day. 4hrs wasted because these "professionals" can't manage to update their website except if it's to change the prices of things 3 times a week, which brings me to my next point on how badly this place is operated: I recently started going there because I saw they had matter 8ths for $27 with a sale on pharmacaan products. I check the sites daily to find deals and new stuff and noticed the matter 8ths went from 27/8th to 31.50/8th to 34/8th all in the span of 1 week. So if they can do that to make more money they sure as fuck can manage their online inventory so people don't fuck their entire day up. What gets me about this place is that there seems to be zero organization in that place. I've placed online orders at 10am for a 5-6pm pick up and when I get there they start fumbling and getting the order together. Half the employees show zero interest in being there and are too busy joking and talking. The store has become much more disorganized as of late and regularly the split line situation causes people who have been already waiting to be skipped. I've mentioned this on more than one occasion and today again more than four people skipped me before I was helped. The person who was about to help me abruptly went on break without warning those who were in his line and walked away without answering a question that was asked of him by another customer. Cause yes the non medical ones have CofA but are by sketchy companies. Great products! Friendly staff. Prices are comparable to similar businesses in the area. Unfortunately, the delivery service for online orders is subpar and very slow compared to other dispensaries in the area. (The one and only time I tried a delivery order it was going to take five days for delivery.) This means that I have only shopped here by submitting orders online and picking them up in person. The orders are usually available for pickup very quickly after order submission. Sometimes the products I ordered end up not being available once I get to the store, which is annoying but not the end of the world. Advertising texts come wayyyy too often, but can be opted out of. The system for lining up customers inside the store is a little bit confusing and no direction is offered upon entry. Unlike other dispensaries in Queens, it seems like there is no staff member devoted to helping customers pick out the correct products for their individual needs in-store, so I wouldn't recommend Curaleaf to someone who is a first-time shopper for these types of products. Also, I know this is very nitpicky but the front door is RIDICULOUSLY hard to open from both sides. Not my favorite place, but I would still recommend it if it's close and you exactly know which products you want. read more

This is one of the best dispensaries for flower and tincture in the city. Everything is always consistently dosed and easy to pick up when you order online. You still have to show all your paperwork along your paperwork along with your ID but it still worth it, because the experience itself is far less aggressive than other places. Wow. I usually buy 3 to 4 vapes from Curaleaf per visit. About a day or 2 after my purchase, I noticed that one of the vapes were defective. There was a dark almost black crystallized substance instead of vape liquid. I took a pic and emailed it to Curaleaf Foresthill. I was told via a reply to that email to bring it in the next time I place an order with me. No prob. Fast forward to today. I place an order for 6 cartridges over the phone for pickup and brought the faulty one from the last order. Natalie (the manager/ pharmacist of Curaleaf Queens) comes out and says "I can't keep doing this." I've never had any issue with Curaleaf. Ever. I was confused by such an intro response after turning in the faulty cartridge so I asked for clarification. "Well our cartridges don't look like that." She insinuated that I either altered this cartridge or I switched it after I left the store. Although I was in disbelief, I didn't share my disgust because I wanted to ask more questions to find the root of her ill and hostile response. The more I ask for clarification, the more she interrogates me. "Why didn't you return it immediately?!" I explained that I was told by Curaleaf to bring it the next time which is now. I also explained that I live an hour away. They could have sent a courier to my home because I did call Curaleaf after I got the faulty product and I learned that delivery wasn't an option because delivery appointments are backed up for months. "Well maybe you mixed it with another cartridge from somewhere else." She then goes on to explain how Curaleaf tests every product before giving it to customers so this defective product is questionable (on my part). Even tho it says Curaleaf (etched in) right on the actual cartridge. She still suggests that the cartridge was switched or that foul play was involved. She then said that she is going to mark my profile so if this happens again there will be record. !! At this point, there is no more letting this slide as a misunderstanding. That comment is why you are reading this. That comment is why I'm sharing this experience with everyone that will listen because I smelt racism from her. I went from thinking, maybe she's new, to maybe she's having a bad day, to maybe she's a little off, to finally, she's treating me this way because on her perception of me. I believe that the next man or woman would not have had this same experience from this same person assuming all was the same (other than my appearance). Needless to say, I was at my breaking point. I explained that I will be updating my review and in it I will outline the details of this back and forth and will include her name. NATALIE. I told her that the way she is treating me will read in detail by Curaleaf employees, managers, customers and potential customers in the form of email and reviews. It was at this point that she started back pedaling saying she's not blaming me and began apologizing. Now I'm the kinda guy that would rather walk away from conflict instead of engaging in. We all have bad days and I'd like to believe that I give the benefit of the doubt. BUT... Because this has a racial undertone to it I feel compelled to leave this review on every platform that I can and to email this story to every email that ends with @curaleaf.com that I could find. Lastly, the customer service that I usually experience with Curaleaf (up until this point) has been A+. Even the security guards are cool. This just goes to show how putting one person in the wrong position can tarnish an entire team. How can one racist damage an entire brand of excellent service that took over a year to build, in a span of minutes? Curaleaf management, please look up my profile. TLDR: They used to be good, no so much anymore. Delivery is disorganized and a separate operation from the store, customer service now kind of sucks. I had been using them almost since they opened for medical, but their customer service and delivery has gone way down hill. Their delivery service is disorganized, and the delivery and Queens dispensary appear to be 2 separate organizations that do not communicate well with each other. The store could not confirm my veteran's or recertification discounts as it was a delivery order. I placed an order late on a Monday on-line, had to call the store as their was no way to set up date & time for delivery on the website. I was told this feature was not available and that delivery should be Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest, but they could not confirm the day, never mind time. I called the store late Wednesday as it had not arrived, turns out they did not have my updated certification, my mistake but no one contacted me to notify of this, the delivery was just put on hold. I emailed the cert to store (I have confirmation) immediately while on that call, and I was told Thursday delivery, Friday at latest...but the store could not confirm receipt of cert (something about being locked out of their email). I waited all day Thursday, no delivery. I called Friday, turns out my cert was sent to their (I guess separate) delivery service Friday morning, so delivery now could not be until Saturday. During this week long process I kept being transferred back and and forth, did not receive promised callbacks, and the staff were just disinterested in dealing with the issue. End result? I cancelled the delivery, and yeah...do not think I will be going back again. Their product can be bought at other places, Vireo even Etain does much better delivery. read more

The customer experience at the foreat hills location today was very negative. I felt like they just wanted to push along the sale and kick me out. Curaleaf is an example of how a business should be operated. First off, the facility is extremely modern, clean and easy to navigate. At the door, you're greeted by a courteous security guard and receptionist. The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and aren't forceful with pushing their products onto you. There are knowledgeable pharmacists that will help you pick the right products as well. I am amazed at how smooth my visits are each time I go there; I have never seen a friendlier staff. What I also love is that I get emails with discount codes every week. I have never had a hassle with applying the discount codes at check out.
