It's the 15 th and have yet to hear from them. I've made several calls and told by office staff they would transfer call to the scheduler and leave a voice mail. I was told she left a voice mail and you can see all voice mails on your phone. I told them that and have called. Numerous times to no avail. The office staff taking calls are rude and very unprofessional. I ask to speak with the nurse or doctor as I wonder if he's aware of this and was told there's no direct number to reach them. I like Dr Grubb but this is ridiculous.

My case was extremely long and involved, but he was determined to help make my life as pain free as possible. It was very evident the day after surgery that he had accomplished that. I had had several vertebral fusions performed by other doctors before; but his least invasive technique to fuse and insert instrumentation was almost pain free compared to my other prior fusions. I had less pain the day after surgery than I had experienced in several years.

We have known Dr. Soo for quite a few years now and would not consider anyone else for spinal surgery. He is truly a genius and is a very caring doctor. I had a very rare condition in the spinal cord in which Dr. Soo performed an operation. He took the time to research and care for my case personally, above and beyond the call of duty that no other physician would take on. His sense of humor lightens the mood of some potentially bad news. But I assure you, if it can be fixed, he will fix it!!! Both offices are very busy, however, if you are able to book an appointment on a Thursday, I find that the Novi location to be a bit less crowded. You should book your appointment at least a month in advance, or two if you can. To avoid a long wait, you can ask for the first appointment of the day. Just a couple suggestions that are hopefully helpful.

I then tried the online scheduling portal, and it appeared that Dr. Houseman had no appointment availability at all. For a large medical group, I expected a much easier process--especially for a patient trying to address a potentially serious medical issue. At the very least, there should be a simple option to speak with a human being who can explain availability, cancellations, referrals, or next steps. I can't comment on Dr. Houseman's medical care because I haven't been able to get far enough in the process to schedule an appointment. This review is strictly about the scheduling and communication experience, which so far has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Very upset... after waiting at least 6 weeks for an appointment for my husband... they had all the…read moreinsurance information over the phone, I took the day off of work to accompany my husband to this appointment, we get there and they tell us they do not accept his GM retiree Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid and Medicare insurance and ... that we would have to go to the main hospital in Royal Oak where they could schedule us there. We went there, made an appointment, which later my husband cancelled, because he was upset. He was upset because, he found out that they did take his insurance, and the agent misinformed him. We live 30 minutes away from the Southfield office, and 45 minutes away from the Royal Oak office. Someone ought to review the staff Dr Park has working for him. We really wanted Dr Park, my nephew went to him, was very pleased, we did our research and liked what we knew of him, but we are not pleased with that agent and no apologies or compensations was offered to us, no attempt to get us in any sooner.
