This is a review about Uri: I reached out to Uri for…read moreprofessional help, after years of struggling with emotional instability. Uri helped me tremendously by creating a safe space in which I felt heard, understood, in the most fundamental level I've ever experienced. The work we've done together allowed me to reconcile my past, learn from my life experiences, and grow. In addition, Uri and I worked together with the IPEC therapy method to overcome certain physical issues I was dealing with (massive hair loss, hemeroids, over weight). Uri is a professional in the utmost sense of the word. His services may not be cheap, but his time is worth every penny, because he just understands you, and is not afraid to dig deep to get to the root cause of issues, to help you solve them forever. Also, meeting via Skype video calls was super convenient for my busy schedule. I would wholeheartedly recommend Uri to anyone, whether you're looking to grow, and improve your life, or if you're struggling with any emotional turmoil. Sincerely, Leora

Thankfully, I got some amazing recommendations from fellow showbiz folks, and I'm so grateful for that! I loved that Dr. Kaluga is incredibly professional and truly knows her stuff. She creates a safe space where I can be open and honest about my struggles. Great Minds provides sessions via telehealth, and I really appreciated that because it saved me a lot of time not having to drive anywhere. I could also squeeze in a session during my lunch hours. Her advice and support have really helped me deal with the pressures of the industry and find balance in my life. If you're in need of a therapist who gets the unique challenges we face in show business, I highly recommend Great Minds and Dr. Julia Kaluga. Huge thanks to everyone who pointed me in her direction--she's been a real game changer for me! Much love, Debbie Bledsoe

I've seen my share of therapists, and know when a psychiatrist is "the real deal." Dr. Vause truly…read moreis: she is patient, attentive, kind, and deeply knowledgeable. For someone with such experience and expertise, she's extremely down-to-earth and approachable. I came to Dr. Vause at a time of change in my life (at work, with family, and in my relationships), and my stress was surging. My depression and anxiety levels were becoming hard to manage, and I was turning to drugs and alcohol to cope. Dr. Vause helped me get through it. In addition to counseling, she guided me through some challenging but needed adjustments to my medication regimen. Every med suggestion was explained clearly, Dr. Vause answered all of my questions, and I knew what to expect in terms of effects and side-effects. I never felt as if pills were just being pushed my way; she really wanted me to participate in my own treatment and understand her reasoning. In addition to the excellent medication recommendations and adjustments, she is a wonderful therapist. Since seeing her, I have felt much better, and have experienced real improvements in my life. Her combination of innate sensitivity, compassion, and deep medical expertise is quite rare. I feel completely comfortable and secure in this relationship, and am fortunate to have found this exceptional doctor. I know I am cared for as a whole person, not just a bundle of problems, and there's nothing I hesitate to talk to Dr. Vause about. Having her in my life is itself therapeutic and a source of strength for me. Thank you Dr. Vause!

I asked for a referral (virtually every doctor has at least one other doctor they refer patients to) but she had NONE. She seemed completely unapologetic and I felt like I was simply wasting her time and she just wanted me to hang up. Obviously since she has no openings for new clients there is no harm to her business by posting this...only saving others from wasting their time. I am suicidal and need a doctor asap. But I don't need a doctor that lacks compassion and has no interest to help unless you happen to be an existing patient.

Karine saved my life…read more I know this sounds dramatic but if you're really interested in changing your life please read on. I started seeing Karine about 6 years ago when she first opened her private practice. I was in one of the darkest places in my life. I had horrific intrusive thoughts, horrible anxiety, terrible depression and so on. I barely graduated high school because I was scared of being in class. I couldn't go on freeways, I was unmotivated, I thought life was getting pointless and was even having thoughts that nobody should ever have in their life. Prior to Karine I've been to many therapists and a couple of psychiatrists. Now I know there are many great therapists out there but the ones I experienced didn't seem to genuinely care, or they didn't know how to tackle my problem. That was never the case with Karine. Coming to Karine felt (and still does) feel like I'm taking to a family member. She GENUINELY cares about your life. She cries with me, she laughs with me, she remembers every detail of our previous conversations, and she will take your phone calls during the day if you need an extra boost. I started going to Karine as a boy who was scared of life and didn't know where I was headed. I was sure I was going to be "disabled" forever, my mom would complain that I didn't even have $2 to go to Taco Bell. It was a lot of work, and there where a lot of good and bad moments on my journey but now I'm a changed man. I have my own career, make over 6 figures, know how to deal with my emotions, and I even took a trip to Hawaii recently!! To give you an idea just thinking about driving in the freeway terrified me. This is more of a thank you to Karine. I want to thank you public ally for everything you have done for me. I want to thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. I want to thank you for always being there for me and genuinely having my best interests at heart. If anybody is still reading this and you feel like you need help in life, whether it be you feel anxious or even if you just feel lost, please do yourself a favor and see Karine. I promise it will be worth it.

The exposure assignments she had me do empowered me. She had me yell at my anxiety and realize I have a choice to live with it or conquer it. Lynne is brilliant. She is highly trained in anxiety and panic disorder. She knows her stuff. I remember her telling me because I would ask her all the time, do you think I'll ever be normal again and be able to do things and she would say yes if you do the work. Lynne also helped me by communicating with my psychiatrist on what meds were working, and which ones were not. She helped me alleviate my fear to use anxiety meds through this difficult part of my life and not be scared of them. Even when we were doing telemedicine, I was still able to put myself in a place and imagine a scenario in my head where I had to deal with my fears. I just felt so safe and trusting with her. Lynne saved my life, I will always be grateful to her. I still have panic attacks once in a great while, but the tools Lynne left me with help me fight them and they don't escalate.
