She not only takes in and remembers what you share, but she is able to see the bigger picture of where you are and what you're experiencing. I found this to be very helpful because sometimes when your brain feels all over the place, having someone who can unravel the string to reflect where you're at can be so validating and helpful. Her style of therapy, along with EMDR, felt solution-based, which worked well for me. She'd ask if I wanted to talk or do EMDR, and regardless of which I chose, it felt like during each session we were able to focus on a specific challenge or wound and do healing work to understand where the pain was stemming from. I've had many therapists, and Michele is by far my favorite. I felt huge shifts and growth from my time working with her. It was noticeable in every aspect of my life. In other therapy sessions I've left feeling confused, like I didn't know what I'd accomplished. With Michele, I always knew what we were addressing during the session and it felt applicable to my life and healing. I highly recommend Michele, especially if you feel like you aren't getting anywhere with your current therapist, want to try EMDR (it's really incredible, but also tough), or are looking for a therapist who truly sees who you are.
