I started seeing Dr. Megan because my cat was gimpy. She just looked like she was in pain and she couldn't move well. I have two cats and this cat, unfortunately, gets picked on by the other cat, so she's always in a state of stress and running away for the other cat. The other cat also bites her, which causes big problems. So, Dr. Megan first treated my cat for the "gimpyness" with acupuncture. My cat loved it from day one. Let me also say that I have Dr. Megan come to my home for the service which decreases the stress level. Over the course of several weeks, doing acupuncture a couple of times per week, my cat was back to jumping around and being lively. Since then, I've had this cat on routine monthly acupuncture treatment, and it does wonders. Some times it's just helping her with everyday older cat issues, and other times it's helping out with a specific issue that may have just happened. The treatment process is amazing. Dr. Megan is a calm, informative doctor who has a great way of connecting with the animal. I trust her judgment on so many levels. She has great recommendations such as suggesting I buy the Thundershirt for my aggressive cat. I thought "wow, like that will work!" But it does and it has helped a lot. The other thing that is incredibly important is that she will first look at all homeopathic and natural options before recommending Western medicine. She has no problem treating serious problems with Western medicine but she'll work with you to find the best combination. I highly recommend her!!
