We had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with Cascade Veterinary Clinic in…read moreWenatchee. We were charged over $1,800 for our dog's care, despite being told beforehand that the neuter procedure would be free. When we questioned the charges, they denied ever saying that which was frustrating and felt misleading. After the surgery, our dog needed additional attention and had to be brought back in. What they described as a "band-aid fix" was never clearly explained to us, leaving us confused and concerned about what was actually being done. Even more troubling, the fix didn't hold the first time or 3rd our dog had the same issue again while still on the table at the clinic. Sadly, the root of the problem was not ever discovered. and sadly, the bill for the so-called band aid fix was the same amount as the first surgery, stitches and neuter. The staff is rude including the receptionist. they seem more concerned about the bill than the animals honestly. When they returned our dog to us, he was extremely out of it to the point that it was alarming. We had to carry him to the car, and the same issue happened again on the way home. The entire situation felt rushed, poorly communicated, and deeply unsettling. Sadly, our dog is no longer with us, and we are left with a lot of grief and disappointment--not just from the loss, but from the way everything was handled. After a bill of over $1800.00 we would expect some resolution instead we lost our dog and left with more expenses. we loved him so much.  We expected transparency, care, and professionalism during a difficult time, and we did not receive that. We would not recommend this clinic based on our experience.

She took care of our dog , and she was very, very good with him; loving, and a great doctor. She admistered a shot, gave him a de-worming treatment, and clipped his nails. That last part might not sound like much, but he's a huge dog with a terrible fear of nail clipping for some reason. (We adopted him, so we don't know the reason.) Anyway, she was able to accomplish this almost impossible task with ease! I give Dr. Lisa Otto five stars...the highest rating possible! James and Deborah Bryant

Dr Keppler and his staff are absolutely the best, my fur baby was attacked by a large dog that left…read moreher with lacerations and puncture wounds around her neck ( she's a small terrier mix ) I called the emergency vet number at 10 o'clock at night and was told it may be awhile due to many pet emergencies, Dr Keppler called me back in a short time and even though he and his staff were busy taking care of other ill babies he said bring her in we were there within 10 minutes was met by Rory his assistant ( who took minnie from me and took her inside ) after examining her Dr Keppler came out and explained what he found and what he thought was needed for Minnie long story short they kept her over night cleaned and fixed her wounds and took excellent care of her and let us know the next morning we could come and pick her up she is a little tattered and stitched up but will make a full recovery. Huge thanks to Dr Keppler, Rory and the other team members who treated my baby like their own

The reviews were so glowing that I was skeptical. Nonetheless, we called him and he was very receptive. He saw and treated our Italian Greyhound the same day, after hours! We've since adopted a terrier mix from the local shelter and Dr. Duke has scheduled her vaccinations promptly. His clinic is a separate building on a property where other animals are corralled in his care. He is obviously the 'real deal' in veterinary medicine--reminds us of James Herriot caring for "All Creatures Great and Small". His charges are the best we've found currently in the area, but that's not the priority. The interest and care he has shown our animals is the most important, and he has won our confidence.

I have never had a Veterinarian give my pet a better exam. Another Clinic had my pet end of life…read morewrong diagnosed. But the diagnoses was but a symptoms of an underlying cause. It took him one though looking with eyes and hands to discover a tumor under her mammary glands. He gave her an injection I hadn't enough for with Exam and inherit meds. It's on me. Dr Shawna Bais has been so calm and reassuring when I'm feeling worried or stressed about something wrong with my pet. I actually heard a story from a friend about how he and his wife had taken their cat to several vets in town and felt they were all dismissive until they came here and Shawna was the first vet that listened and cared and helped them with the cat. I had to smile when they told me the story because I felt the same way when I came here. She heard me. She cared. And she has taken wonderful care of my puppy. Tonight was really the moment that solidified all this for me. Long story short, I emailed and called after hours. Late at night. On a weekend. And guess who looked at my emailed pictures and called me back? I could have cried in gratitude. She was so reassuring, gave me helpful suggestions and wasn't at all upset with me for potentially spoiling her time off. Over and over I'm thankful Shawna is our vet. She's such a blessing!

I called to ask about spaying a cat and who ever answered couldn't give me any info. Just kept saying they were booked. I asked how much it would be and he didn't know because there's additional charges but that there was a waiting list. I said that I was ok with being placed in a waiting list, I asked that what was an approximate time for my cat to get looked at and he couldn't give me a time frame either, that he didn't know. I asked when it was a good time to spay my cat and he said 6 months. I asked if I were to be placed on the waiting list and got called before my cat was 6 months old if it would affect her. He didn't know. Ask what would happen with my place if I got called and it wasn't time he didn't know.

Our Italian Greyhound, "Sophie", passed over the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. Cascade Veterinary had…read morediscovered cancer throughout her body. We looked for a service that would come to our home and anesthetize Sophie while we held her. We found Nicole Vega of Hummingbird Veterinary who came promptly. She answered all our questions and offered all of the other end-of-life services that might be required. After anesthetizing Sophie, she lined up a cremation service, source for an urn with inscription, and took Sophie with her to follow through on all those services. Dr. Vega was thorough and compassionate at every step of the process. She was thoughtful enough to create a clay medallion with Sophie's foot prints impressed in it (see pic). It turns out that Dr. Vega is well known and highly regarded in this area. She substitutes for other veterinarians when asked. We've decided to take advantage of the preventative care service she offers. Her philosophy of "an oz. of prevention is worth a lb. of cure" makes excellent sense in a time when other veterinarians are scheduling their services one to two months out. Her services to us were 5-Stars!

It can be such a hard decision to say goodbye to our four-legged family members, but I always hoped…read morethat when the time came to say goodbye to my girl, I'd be able to use an at-home euthanasia vet. I feel very fortunate Dr. Vega was available for us - she was so organized, communicative, and professional from the first email communication until her departure from our home. I was really impressed with her calm demeanor, that it was important to her that we were all as comfortable as could be before moving forward, and that we had all our questions and concerns addressed. She was kind and efficient in all the right ways and I wouldn't hesitate to call upon her again or recommend her to a friend. Thank you, Dr. Vega, for your compassion in such a difficult time. I have known Eric Whitener for many years, he has given three of my dogs the best of care in all…read morethat time. He is a great vet and cares for the animals he treats. I would recommend him highly to anyone who has a pet they care deeply for.
