NOTE today is Friday the 11th of December and having just listened to my message from Sanova North of a couple of days ago, I am getting a definitive answer about my prescription from my last visit SEPTEMBER 1ST. There is no way it should EVER take 3-1/2 months to resolve a patient inquiry and concern over medicine! I called several times during this time frame and each time someone responding to the prescription/ nursing line assured me she would speak directly with my provider and get back to me with answers and they did Not! And when they did, it was with disappointing info that doesn't support what the provider told me in person :( nursing line

Amanda was super helpful! Really good because scheduling or rescheduling an appointment with my then provider, a large hospital clinic network, was a months long wait. My check-in at the North Austin location off of Mo-Pac near Parmer was effortless and very pleasant and my clinical visit with Lorin the Medical Assistant and Stephanie PA-C for the skin check was through and very informative. I was beyond pleased that PA Stephanie was able to examine and treat a spot on my ear that she had concerns with and also perform a procedure on a couple more that required them to be excised off. The visit was really positive and I accomplished so much in 90 minutes from the time I walked in along with directions on using appropriate sunscreen! Sanova Dermatology offers lots of services , so I expect that I'll be back more often than annually for routine maintenance and care at a really reasonable and fair cost.

Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

From our very first consultation, he took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answer all our questions (no matter how many or how small), and make us feel completely supported. If you're beginning your fertility journey and Dr. Silverberg is your doctor, rest assured you're in the best possible hands. He combines medical expertise with a warm, understanding approach that makes such a difference during what can often be an anxious process. Thank you, Dr. Silverberg, for everything you've done for our family. You've made an immeasurable impact on our lives.

Since my first…read morevisit, I knew that this office would be my home base for all of my women's care needs , no matter how far I needed to drive. I have always recommended this office to my friends, as the office is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the care is next level. Some years ago, I voiced my concerns to Dr. Shepherd about potentially having PCOS. She took my claim seriously and gave me a formal diagnosis, which is more than I can say about other doctors I had raised this concern to. The past couple of months, I have been going through an ectopic pregnancy, which was at first thought to be a miscarriage. Dr. Shepherd and Dana Wicker were the two primarily responsible for my care during this time. These two women were incredibly professional, informative, and diligent in care when it came to my health and the potential risks this could cause. In addition, they were kind and compassionate as my husband and I went through our loss and the health anxiety it caused. I can say with full confidence that while this experience was incredibly difficult and heartbreaking, it was made better by the bedside manner and care provided by this office. All that being said, I will continue to be a regular patient here and recommend to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

When I explained that, Dr. Thoppil dismissed my reasoning and told me it 'wouldn't make much of a difference.' He quickly shifted the focus to whether I was sexually active or trying to get pregnant, without asking anything about how I'd been feeling or why this decision was important to me. Hormonal birth control--even lower dose options like Kyleena--can still come with a range of physical and emotional symptoms that are deeply personal. I was hoping for a conversation rooted in care, curiosity, and respect, but instead I left feeling unheard and invalidated. Women deserve more thoughtful and empathetic care when making informed decisions about their reproductive health.

When I came into Austin Primary Care a few months ago I was suffering from an uncontrolled case of Type 2 Diabetes and going through a rough patch, and over the last few months she helped give me the tools and most of all encouragement to get my levels back to completely normal (As of today!). I couldn't be happier with the care that I got, the healthier lifestyle I'm embracing and I really appreciated the online portal that APCC uses to keep in touch with your doctor free of charge if you have any questions. I sincerely got the feeling that the doctors here actually cared about my well being, which is unfortunately a rare thing to find as of late. Thankfully the 1st time was with a couple through this clinic and the whole process was SO smooth and wonderful! Was successful the first transfer! The 2nd time I was a surrogate the intended parents were with another clinic and the experience was SO awful!! Worlds different! Several falled transfers, prescribed medication that didn't make sense to me, procedures done it felt like in a closet...etc. Thank goodness I had the experience with Dr. M first! Bc I refused to do another transfer with them unless they followed the flow chart from my 1st surrogacy. That clinic was offended but at least listen to me at that point and wouldn't you know that transfer was successful. And now I am on my 3rd surrogacy and we went straight to Dr. Moghadam and once again it was successful the very 1st transfer! And the whole process again was just so smooth and easy. The intended parents told me the process of their egg retrieval before the transfer was very smooth and easy for them too. They are just absolutely the best to me!! I went and was charged $300 as a "deposit" but I never saw claims filed to insurance nor did I get a refund from said deposit. Let's not forget to mention almost daily ultrasounds. Maybe that's where the $300 went to? in addition to the hour long waits for a 5 minute visit. All this while trying to keep my job and explain why I needed to see the dr almost daily. I went with the intention of getting lab work run and starting with pills (clomid or femara) as my obgyn didnt do this part. I was never allowed to do this as I was told It wouldnt work. (how do we know that?) Was sent to get an hsg without a negative pregnancy test in hand. (couldnt possibly be the first time they've sent someone to the ARA but they wouldnt help me so that was a waste of PTO, time and getting stuck in 5 oclock traffic unnecessarily. I had to drive bk to their clinic, get a blood draw so I could try again on yet another day. ) Not only was I not able to get a script for pills, I was told i should start with IVF. I absolutely refused and somehow this compromise was an IUI. What I should have done was walk out. But i let this dr talk me into an iui. $3300 later and who knows how many trips to the specialty pharmacy 30 miles away, I had a failed iui and a data breach bc someone left a laptop in their car. The final straw was being told my next step would be ivf or ovarian drilling. nope. nope. nope. I'm out. I ended up putting a pin in all this and ended up getting pregnant naturally about a year after I stopped going to this office but I still get chills everytime I see the exit off mopac. In summation, i will say he was super aggressive and seemed like he wanted everyone to get pregnant... but at what cost? I also want to mention I got a shot of vitamins (allegedly) that was above my hip that really aggravated my sciatic nerve... just be cautious. I thought I had a blood clot at first, but being that I am a runner I had it checked out to rule out any bigger problems. I ended up going to a different infertility dr who has now since retired but I wish I had gone to him first. If you do go here, I hope you are treated better than I was.
