I was scared to hand her over because I didn't trust that I'd actually get her ashes back (I fear some places lump all pet ashes together). I called all over the bay area and no one gave me enough confidence until I spoke to Dr. Ramos from P.E.R. She actually spent a lot of time hearing me out, then making calls to ensure all of my fears were just that- fears. I was treated with respect and kindness. When I brought my baby to the center I was given space and time with her to grieve before she was taken. This was much harder than expected so their set up and process was appreciated. The team was very communicative and helpful. When her ashes were returned to me a couple of weeks later, I was extremely touched that they felt moved by my baby's story and had kindly added little treasures that I will always cherish. I never expected to lose my beloved pet and I don't wish this on anyone, but having this team help get me through it was a gift. If you're reading this it means you're probably grieving your own loss. I'm so sorry. Have faith and confidence here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Ramos and Pets Eternal Rest team.

I've been going through the most devastating time and experience of my life, and still am, after losing my fur baby and soulmate. During this heartbreaking time, Dr. Cheryl has shown an extraordinary level of compassion, honesty, and care. She communicated clearly, was patient with my questions, and treated my situation with sincerity and respect. What stood out most was her transparency and the gentle way she handled everything. Even in the middle of overwhelming grief, she provided reassurance and comfort through her professionalism and kindness. It's clear she truly understands the deep bond we have with our furry family members. I'm deeply grateful for the way she supported me during such an unbearable and emotional time. If I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would. If you're looking for a veterinarian who genuinely cares and provides the type of end-of-life service she offers, I highly recommend Dr. Cheryl.

It was already a stressful situation as it was. Thankfully, Pets.RIP was available at any hour of the day, so I made a call to Kwasi who answered my call and answered all my questions that I had. Kwasi is definitely a gem of a person; he is very compassionate, and being a pet owner himself, he understands the stresses that a passing of a beloved pet can have on its owner and family. There was no rush on when he could pick up; he told us to take as much time as we needed and to call him when we were ready for her to be picked up. After he picked her up to have a private cremation done, we kept in contact with him and he provided updates on when her urn would be ready. After 10 days from when he picked her up, he contacted me to let me know that her urn was ready. He went above and beyond and drove here to personally bring her to us. We would have been okay with having to pick her up from where ever she was, but the fact that Kwasi did this really touched us. Again, he is truly a gem of a person. Her urn was a beautiful sheesam urn with a nameplate of Delilah on it. Seeing it made me cry because I missed her, but also happy that she is finally back with us. If you ever need a private cremation (they also offer communal cremation) for a beloved pet that passed, please do not hesitate to contact Pets.RIP. The prices are reasonable, and they will take care of you from the moment you contact them until the time you receive your pet's urn.

It was a very difficult and vulnerable time for us, and every single worker was patient and compassionate. Prior to his euthanasia appointment, the doctors and vet assistants worked closely with us for weeks and ensured every test and every option was considered to determine a strong diagnosis. During this process, not ONCE did they push euthanasia.. they left it up to us to decide that which is something we appreciated very much. They reassured us that they were able to be reached via email, text and/or call to update them on Kitty's treatment at any time. They were responsive and on top of every little thing. Of course, Kitty was a 16 year old bombay and could not function like a normal cat any longer even with the extensive treatment that was prescribed to us. His health deteriorated rapidly due to his illness (hyperthyroidism) that not even the medicine could treat. We then had to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives to put him down so he can finally live a life of peace. Thank you to the health care team (Dr. Narg, Sheila, Leah, Marissa, and many more) for treating Kitty, my partner and I with so much tender care and I will never forget how comfortable you all made us feeling during this very hard transition. If you are ever considering euthanasia, or even just in need of general care for your furry friend(s), do not hesitate and come here. Again, thank you Sun Valley Pet Hospital for peacefully opening the sky gates for my baby boy.

What used to feel like a place focused on helping animals now feels rushed, impersonal, and centered around pushing medication rather than providing thoughtful, compassionate solutions. Throughout my experience, there seemed to be very little effort to discuss alternative options or genuinely address the root of my dog's issues. Instead, the only solutions presented involved continuously prescribing more medication without much explanation or care for long-term wellbeing. What was even more frustrating was being charged a "service fee" that staff could not clearly explain when asked. If clients are expected to pay additional fees, there should at minimum be transparency and professionalism regarding what those charges are actually for. I understand veterinary medicine is difficult and clinics are busy, but compassion, communication, and honesty should still be basic standards of care. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unheard, overcharged, and far less confident in the clinic than I once was. Stay away from this place.

From the unexpected very first phone call the day before, they patiently walked me through the process while I was extremely emotional and overwhelmed. They were calm, kind, and never rushed us. The gentleman who met us at the hospital to transport our baby was thoughtful and respectful. We chose a private viewing and cremation, and while it was more expensive than other options, I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. When we arrived at the facility early the morning of, before the viewing or cremation, we brought breakfast as a small thank you for their compassion. They were genuinely surprised (said it's never been done before), which only spoke further to the selfless care they provide. We were given a private room set slightly away from the reception area, which provided much needed privacy. The room was simple but serene, with a couch, tissues, and a infant changing table style setup. Our baby had already been peacefully laid on the changing table with a small blanket, as if he was just sleeping. Being able to close the door, take our time, hold him, talk to him, cry, and say goodbye without interruption meant everything. They then carefully explained and showed us each step and allowed us to choose how involved we wanted to be, which we deeply appreciated. The whole process only took a few hours and our soul baby was rested in a nice temporary urn while we waited for our custom one. Our requested paw prints, nose prints, and hair clippings were also ready and prepped for us. This was our second time losing a fur baby, but our first experience with this company, and I truly cannot imagine handling such a loss any other way. Highly recommend.

They said that we could come in asap and that there was no wait period, which I appreciated. On top of that, he empathized and was patient with me when I sobbed on the phone because it happened so soon. Which I truly appreciated since it proved to me that Shane is a real one. They were so kind and made the whole experience (which was of course still awful + heartbreaking, but that's not their fault) as smooth and gentle as possible. We were provided blankets, allowed to hold him on our laps, and we even saw Dr. Nguyen give him a couple gentle pets each time he administered any drugs. We were already aware that everyone working at Disney really cares about each animal on an individual level, but this experience really emphasized it for us. We also were appreciative of the honesty we were given. We were told that we *could* probably keep our dog alive longer, but that his quality of life would be practically nonexistent. I can't overstate how grateful we are that no one tried to dance around it just to spare our feelings or squeeze more money out of us on treatments that weren't in his best interest. There's a reason we trust the staff at Disney so much, and it's because we truly believe they have our pets best interests in mind, above all else. We also later on received a condolence card that appeared to have a handwritten message and was signed by most, if not every staff member (there were at least 7-8 signatures). Our whole family is so, so grateful for the amazing care that Disney provided during our dog's life and even more grateful for making his last moments so peaceful for him. We're so lucky to have found such an incredible veterinary provider and are incredibly appreciative of all the wonderful people who work to make it that way.

The…read morethrough line is that they dont check your animals' medical records, their care is completely substandard, and they have zero compassion for you or your pets. I took my senior dog here to get treated for vestibular disease. He seemed to be on the mend when he became lethargic two days later. I rushed there just for a different vet to tell me I needed to euthanize him because he was "no longer himself anymore." It was clear she didn't read his chart bc he was a healthy dog before those last couple hours. In shock, I pressed for more info and she shared he had a 102 degree fever. I pleaded with her to give him fluids and treat his fever. he completely recovered until passing of old age two years later. I recently took my 4 month old rescue puppy here after he started throwing up all food and fluids. Suspecting kennel cough, they grabbed him from my car and took him to their isolation rooms. After much waiting and worry, the vet comes out and sternly tells me the puppy bit their tech and he's being reported to the county and they're worried he has rabies. I'm completely shocked and flabbergasted they didn't bother to read the vaccination records I shared or care that he's a traumatized former stray dog I've had for a week. I would have thought precautions would have been taken to either be gentle with a traumatized puppy or use a muzzle. Knowing I took him there for dehydration, they keep him alone in a kennel for nearly four hours, giving zero water because they "didn't want him to throw up." I called several times for updates and eventually had to park myself at the front desk, or it probably would have been an even longer wait. Finally I get one dropper of meds for kennel cough, get him home, and he immediately throws it up. That was the reason I took him there in the first place except now he's even more dehydrated. I desperately call and they say the doctor will call back asap. Did they call? Of course not. A second dog of mine would have died needlessly if id trusted their care. Thankfully a kind vet close to home agreed to see him after hours, gave him IV fluids, and prescribed meds for coughing and nausea. PS Sage recommended $1,100 worth of needless tests and x-rays that refused because I didn't want him there alone for four more hours with no food or water. But didn't feel the need to prescribe any meds that would help him eat or drink. If you love your dogs stay far far away from this place unless you have no other choice. I've never been so disappointed in an organization in my life.
