He went above and beyond by providing a referral for an in-home vet visit that allowed me to secure an appointment for the exact same day. Allied Pet Crematory was the #1 place I had set my heart on from the very beginning and they truly lived up to that. Yuto made every step of the process seamless, handled everything with the utmost dignity, and even sacrificed his own office space to allow me time with my Son. The turnaround time was remarkably fast, taking only one day before Shadow was safely back home with me. Also provided were the necessary links to book the services. Dr. Park arrived at the scheduled appointment time and immediately sought to comfort our dog and our family. After reviewing the process with us again, she made sure to answer all our questions and only proceeded when we stated we were ready. She waited patiently while we said our final farewells before proceeding. The procedure went exactly as described, and Dr. Park provided much needed words of comfort once our beloved pup crossed over. She placed his body in a modest basket carrier, complete with flowers, and gave us the time we needed before taking him away. We couldn't have asked for more with the service Dr. Park provided. What used to feel like a place focused on helping animals now feels rushed, impersonal, and centered around pushing medication rather than providing thoughtful, compassionate solutions. Throughout my experience, there seemed to be very little effort to discuss alternative options or genuinely address the root of my dog's issues. Instead, the only solutions presented involved continuously prescribing more medication without much explanation or care for long-term wellbeing. What was even more frustrating was being charged a "service fee" that staff could not clearly explain when asked. If clients are expected to pay additional fees, there should at minimum be transparency and professionalism regarding what those charges are actually for. I understand veterinary medicine is difficult and clinics are busy, but compassion, communication, and honesty should still be basic standards of care. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unheard, overcharged, and far less confident in the clinic than I once was. Stay away from this place.

They had a room available to us to say goodbye, we even brought our other dog with us to say goodbye. The have a variety of package options (custom urns, etc.), we had our own plans in mind but Kass was not too pushy in trying to upsell options. When you dropoff a pet for cremation, they say they will turn that around in 7-10 business days, I think they did it in 6. It feels a little weird to review a pet crematorium, but we have another dog at the moment, and we'd consider using Golden State again.

After bringing her home, I had important questions about her condition, medications, test results, and follow-up care. I emailed the hospital on Friday, October 2, and received no response. I then called multiple times over the next two days asking tor a doctor to call me back, and no one dia. I even asked to speak with a manager. I was told there was no manager available yesterday, and when I called again today, I was once again told there was no manager available. I understand this is an emergency hospital and the doctors are busy, but when you discharge a critically ill animal who has just received a blood transfusion, there should be some way for the owner to get answers to important follow-up questions. I trusted SAGE with Goli during an extremely scary situation and spent a significant amount on her hospitalization. I'm very disappointed that after discharge, I have had such a difficult time getting anyone to communicate with me about her ongoing care. The lack of follow-up for a medically fragile patient is extremely frustrating and concerning.
