No matter where or when, I seek out the cleanest and most reputable place to wash my clothes. I've been in some sketchy laundromats in my day. Sometimes it's sketchy people, sometimes it's sketchy machines that don't work right or are dirty inside leaving me to wish I could rewash my clothing elsewhere. Today is one of those days that I find myself at a laundromat. I am so grateful that MadeNew Laundry in Henrietta opened up. It's worth the little extra drive coming from Fairport to be in an environment that is truly kept immaculately clean and that I feel safe. On top of that, the machines are state of the art technology for washing without wear and tear on my clothes. They rinse and spin thoroughly and dry without cooking the fabric. I am very pleased by the outcome everything from my delicates to son's work pants. Upon walking in, I was given a friendly greeting by Jason who gave me a quick tour of how to get started with the payment system. You have a choice of purchasing a reloadable Laundry Card using either cash or credit card. Or you can download the Laundry Cat app and use a card or other electronic payment, like Apple Pay, and use the app as a virtual laundry card. I chose the Laundry Cat App. It's pretty nifty as it uses the WiFi to give you a status of the machines you have in use. It's easy to reload your account and it's easy to apply payment to a machine. Loading and starting up the machines was a cinch. Wash time is 30 mins or less. Dry time is 20 mins or less. The dryers are very efficient. All in all, it was an excellent experience for going to the laundromat.

What truly sets this place apart is the impeccable customer service. The staff was incredibly nice and professional, handling everything efficiently and with a smile. I especially appreciated that the owner was present and actively involved in the daily operations, demonstrating a real commitment to quality control and customer satisfaction, and it was late at night too. Most importantly, they did an excellent job on the wash and fold. My clothes were perfectly clean, smelled fresh, and were crisply folded. This level of care and professionalism is rare. Though a bit complicated to get started, Claire greeted me when I walked in, and walked me through purchasing credits, choosing the right machine, and hooking up to wifi so I could work. She greeted everyone as they entered and checked on people while she cleaned the machines. A fantastic gal. This was the nicest and cleanest laundromat I've ever been in with clean, comfortable seating and lots of folding tables. They also have a wash and fold service that I'm sure to take advantage of in the future.

Dropped off 3 suits for dry cleaning on 12/31, was told they would be ready for pick up by 1/3. So…read morefar so good... On pick up, things quickly went south. Thank goodness I checked the items in store, as I noticed 2 of the 3 pants in my order were missing. I notified the receptionist at the time, and we managed to find one of the pants attached to someone else's name. I was told they would reach back out over the weekend if they found my pants, or at least to give me an update. On Monday (1/6), I still haven't received any updates, so I called in to check. The phone was picked up by the same woman who had received my suits initially. On asking for updates, she took immediate offended tone and said to call back at 1, when the new truck would drop off orders. I explained that my clothes weren't missing because of a delay, but because they may have been given to someone else, and was told "You've tried to ask the same thing 3 times, but in a different order, if you ask again, I will hang up." So in the hopes of getting more context, I began asking her for if she remembers anyone else when I dropped off the order, but before I could get two words out, she actually hung up on me... Overall, service quality is perhaps the worst I've ever seen and the dry cleaning itself (for the pieces I actually received back, anyways) was mediocre at best. I'm saddened as this store used to be run by a nice couple which provided great service, but had recently retired. The store as it currently is being run is not even a shell of its former self and should be avoided at all costs.

I ended up spotting my suit just laying on a shelf, but they didn't dry clean it. So I had wait and I go to pickup the day before the wedding and the delivery guy wasn't there yet...so I had to go back a third time an hour later that day and finally got it. Long story short, way too much disorganization and stress for a simple dry cleaning, and I was still charged full price.

The clothes are not done on site so it does take a few days to get it back but if you drop off your clothes early in the morning you can usually get them back within 1 to 2 days. I Dry Clean my shirts, pants and coats here and I have always been very pleased. A bit pricey but so are most Dry Cleaners.

I had my wash in before the 8:30 timeframe and it was in two dryers at 9 for 25 minutes I went at 9:26 and the door was locked.
