Shift changes occurred and night shift is completely pushing him aside and disregarding that the doctor said he may shower at his pleasure. With a stern and judging voice, she told him to wait as she's busy with other things. I offered to wrap his arm myself and they ignored. We've been here for almost a week with no answers. After this experience, I have so much motivation to change my whole life career to go to nursing school and actually be there for people in time of need.

It had a beautiful view, but nothing else in the whole room worked. The table was cracked and the laminate was peeling off. There was no shower head in the shower. The lamp was taken apart. There were no towels wash cloths or soap. It was absolutely disgusting. I will never go back to that hospital as long as I live. They used to say Monroe was where you go to die. Well, I still believe that to be true. The staff is great, but they need to tear that place down and start over.

So prednisone should NOT have been given to him and now from the antibiotics his pee is almost orange!!! We're going to his regular doctor now to see the cause for this change in color. Found out this antibiotic can cause liver damage!!!! No one said a word!! Hope we don't have to call a lawyer!!! If you value your life DONT GO THERE!!!! Plus the doctor there is hooked on prednisone for her asthma!!!

Walked to the…read moreback and got blood pressure and all vitals checked, another nice lady, very easy to chat with. Finally got with the doctor and she was really nice too. Took care of everything, was very transparent with everything including prices of medication. Got our prescription in house which made it even easier and cost effective. Bonus points as they had an "adult sticker" basket, made us feel like kids again getting a little treat. Also they had bars of handmade soap for Christmas time that was free, which I thought was really nice. Overall a nice experience and will make this our go to location. Thank you ladies!

Given the elderly, mostly retired community that makes up south Ocala, these folk know what to look for and triage with the best. And, for a non-major metropolitan area, they can get busy as any Trauma One facility. I believe the ER is Four Stars, while the hospital itself rates only Two Stars. She should take Patsy's job on the 6th floor in Surgical. That witch needs to be fired. She is awful. She is a horrible nurse. She is uncaring, nasty, rude, awful and hasty. She doesn't care about anything but herself and everyone and I mean EVERYONE walks on eggshells when she is working on the shift. I had to stay there four days and I heard an ear full. That woman needs to be working at a jail. Even her co-workers likened her to a "an army drill Sargent" Sadly, that's not funny. When someone is very sick, they do not need a nurse throwing a fit in a room and tearing of her gown and cussing under her breath and whispering and then ignoring you for the next two shifts. I never got socks (I had to wear my own for two days). I never got water. NEVER. I never got the aloe wipes... How do I know about them? Well, the very last day, I actually got a nurse: Linda that gave a crap about people. Within minutes of her shift, she came in and brought me hot coffee, WATER (something you need to live), socks, fresh bedding, aloe wipes to replace mine --- and that's when I told her that I had never received anything like that at all! What, did Pissy Patsy take it home? She is an awful person. I am going to report the old bag. It's sad when I am being transported to my CT and the person who is transporting me sees Pissy Patsy and says, "Ugh... I hate coming to this floor..." Um YEAH, TRY BEING HER PATIENT It was hell. She never brought my meds. She never asked if I needed anything. When I would call for something, she would say in a really rude voice, "Can I help you... or you probably need something..." She was so extremely rude. I don't ever want to have to deal with that awful woman again and I will tell everyone! In addition, there was Jim, the Charge Nurse that I told all of this to and he was supposed to stop her from being my nurse and guess what: She was my nurse the very next day! Let me tell you, JIM, this was hell! Not only did I have MRSA and have had this for over a year and this is my 47th boil, but your staff made it a miserable experience. I can gladly spend my $60,000 elsewhere. I told you, get rid of the negative trash in your department because she will infect everyone. One negative person does that... You choose to let that happen, that is on you, but how many patients can't speak? How many people is she rude to? How many people go without water? How many people go without socks for their feet and have to walk on that nasty ass floor? Really?

Have masks, but don't put in waiting room for access and don't encourage or enforce use for basic germ management with waiting room patients - leaving potential for conflict when patients interact for self protection. During this visit, coughing child had no mask, ran all over waiting room, touching all items as mother stated 'you're getting your germs all over everything' as she engaged more with her phone than the child. Staff acknowledged it and did NOTHING to ensure safety of ALL their clients. When calling new patients for service (just standing at door) they donned a mask.

I included all my recent tests, bloodwork results, Neurology exams and reports...EVERYTHING! On my 1st visit I found that they either recycled all my paperwork or lost it. I saw some kind of "Dr" or nurse practionioner? All he kept saying is where is your list of meds...I kept telling him to find my file, he asked who did I give then to, how the hello would I know I was only there once and didn't write down her name. I walked out and would never go back!

Several times they told us they will followup with us within a given timeframe and failed to do so. Most recently they returned a phone call saying the doctor will call back in x minutes. 10 minutes later we received a call that said the doctor left for the day. They appear to be woefully uncoordinated.
