He cared for my three sons from little guys to young adults. My son's would ask him some absolutely bizarre questions and he would always take time to answer them. He didn't want to throw pills at issues that could run their course or if we could modify the diet or lifestyle changes. We had times we did or didn't have healthcare insurance and he would charge reasonable prices. I felt blessed that my sons developed a comfortable relationship with our family Dr. He is amazing. Dr. D'Souza was referred to me by a good friend about 10 years ago and he's been my Primary Care Physician ever since. I appreciate his dry sense of humor, and no-nonsense visits. I sometimes get frustrated with the front office staff and their lack of response. However his nurses, medical assistants, and medical students have always been very professional and thorough. My whole family goes here and we've recommended him to any one that has asked for a family doctor. The nursing staff is friendly and accommodating when it comes to appointments and the wait has never been excessive. Dr. D'Souza takes the time to explain everything to his patients and doesn't speak down to them, which I greatly appreciate in the world of doctor-speak. Every once in a while there will be a resident studying under him, which I think speaks highly of his talent and he always asks if its ok if they listen in and in watching him speak to his "students" you can tell how caring he is because he is not rude or "know-it-all" to them either. Basically, he is our go-to for any health questions and I wouldn't want to go any where else as long as he's around. read more

I've been seeing Dr D'Souza for about a year now. While it is convenient that you are able to make same day appointments, the wait is beyond AWFUL and their staff is not friendly. Every time I have made an appointment I have sat in the waiting room for up to 2 hours before ever even making it back to an exam room. You'll be lucky if you can get a receptionist to make eye contact with you, nonetheless smile. Once in the room, Ive waited for up to an additional hour and a half to see the doctor. Ive heard him outside of the room casually speaking to other patients about their favorite movies for up to 20 minutes EACH while Ive been waiting inside of the room. Also, I wouldnt recommend making appointments on a Friday afternoon. If you require any type of X-Ray or service you'll be told "sorry, I mean, its Friday afternoon nobodys around. Make an appointment for next week." The Dr himself is pleasant, has a dry sense of humor but seems very overcommitted. Ive recommended other patients to him that won't go back. Unfortunately, until they can get their scheduling together I wont be going back either. read more

I had requested for a physical invoice for my visit back in Feb 2018 for a personal reason and was told they were not able to provide it to me all because that they have to go "dig" thru the files(??) in order for me to receive a copy(??) and that I would have to pay $25.00 for it. I have never heard of such a nonsense while all the other doctors I have gone to have provided me with no hassles. I believe all patients have right to receive a copy of their invoices for the visit does not matter how long ago your visit was and should NOT be charged for it. I would never go back to this doctor or recommend this office to anyone. read more

I LOVE Dr. D'Souza! He has been my doctor for many years now and I have no plans to go to anyone else! I have referred my mother, my brother, my husband, and his parents. They all love him as much as I do! He spends plenty of time with each patient so you don't feel rushed to get in and get out. He is great at explaining procedures, illnesses and treatments to those of us that did not attend medical school! Wait times are usually between 15 and 30 minutes (which I think is pretty standard in any doctor's office)! He accepts a range of insurances and will work with you on payments if need be. His staff is great (although Jan has a bit of an attitude...she is my ONLY complaint...period...she has been rude to my mother a time or two as well when scheduling appointments...she seems very unwilling to answer even the simple questions). I have needed a specialist a few times...a gastroenterologist, an ENT, and an OB/GYN (Dr. D'Souza confirmed my pregnancy!) and the doctors he referred me to were even amazing! My mother needed a kidney specialist for a lithotripsy on kidney stones and loved her referred physician as well. All in all he is a great doctor and I highly recommend him...just avoid Jan if you can! : ) read more

I went to the doctor as a new patient and I was literally rushed, I'm telling d'souza What my issue is and he's basically speaking for me. I'm 31 years old with kids I have a high pain tolerance so if I'm coming in with pain in my foot it has to be serious. He prescribed me some meds and told me to come back in 2 weeks. Waste of time and money and barely looked at my foot other than touching it & asking if it hurts.... MY WHOLE FOOT HURTS... then the person he's training sits next to me in the office telling me it's becaue I'm standing up, I kept calm because I'm not always calm. I wasn't looking for meds or even time off from work I honestly just want some type of relief and I feel like some doctors don't listen to your concerns wheather it sounds crazy or small they should take anyone that comes in there seriously. I might not have acted dramatic but I was is pain and I still am but now I'm being billed for the visit and I have zero answers other than freeze a water bottle and roll your foot over it and take the meds. First time at this office. Reason for visit: a persistent cough. I was lucky to book a same day appointment, however waited over an hour and a half only to be looked over for about 15min at most. Also, kind of uncomfortable with 3 medical interns in the room...all for a cough mind you. The Dr. seemed pleasant enough, although he left twice to answer his cell phone before wrapping up the visit. Fair enough, I did receive medications which is all that matters. Nothing remarkably special or horrible to report other than the long wait time. I'm rarely in need of doctor visits so when I do go, I like to be in and out without a huge fuss. Long wait times can by an annoyance especially if the patients take the time to call and book them. Overall, the staff was polite but a little more warmth and communication to patients goes a long way. read more

I visited today my appointment was at 2:45pm and I was in the office at 2:40pm I completed necessary paperwork and called a few minutes later. After blood pressure, temperature, and weight check I sat in the room waiting for almost an hour without being seen. Didn't make sense at all that I had to wait so long being that it wasn't busy and I was on time for my appointment I even had to ask if they forgot about me and he said "no you're next". Not the first time I've had to wait for so long. I will be looking for another PCP. read more

Dr. D'Souza has been my family practitioner for over 3 years now. I feel he is one of the best doctors I have worked with. He listens well to your problem, is really good in diagnosis. Very friendly to talk with. Office staff is good too. Easy to get appointments. Waiting time is sometimes little high, but that's something I have seen in most doctor's office. Its nothing horribly bad. I will recommend him for sure. read more

I wish I could plan on getting sick so I could have appointments in advance, but unfortunately thats not the case. I woke up miserable and called at 9:15am. They receptionists were awesome and were able to get a new patient in before 10am. Once I arrived there were two people in front of me and I felt like I was in and out. Dr DSouza was kind and personable. I feel comforatable in making him my primary care physician. He has electronic perscription writing so I was able to just show up at the pharmacy once and get my perscription. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. D'Souza for close to about 15 years. He has been good to me. He has shown an interest in my health. He is always quick to refer me to a specialist when needed. He discovered by prostate cancer earlier and maybe saved my life. His referrals are not always the best, but some are. At any rate, I highly recommend this guy. read more

If you value your time, stay away. I scheduled appointment in advance, fasted for 12 hours at their recommendation, and took the afternoon off work. As I'm driving to the appointment, 5 minutes before the scheduled time, his secretary calls to say that the Dr. has an important meeting and must cancel. No apology, no further explanation, and somewhat rude. Terrible service. read more

I agree with the previous review, if you value your time, then you may not want to schedule an appt with Dr. D'souza. It's horrible when it comes to getting in and getting out...I've sat there at least 2 hour past my appt. time...still in the waiting area. But, I think it's because (as the first reviewer said) he isn't in and out with his patients. He stays as long as it takes. He's been my PCP for over 7 years and I woudln't trade him in for the world. He's good at what he does. His bedside manner may not be the best but he's honest and he knows what the heck he's doing...Because of that, he'll always be my doctor...no matter how long I have to wait... read more

My insurance has preventive care exam totally free, so decided to go for a preventive care exam. The admin staff told me I had co-pay, I tried to explain them that's free for me. They told me not worry, if at all insurance accepts there claim they would refund me the co-pay and shouldn't be longer than 10-15 days. I went ahead with their word and agreed for it. On returning back I wrote to my insurance they confirmed there is no co-pay. I immediately updated the office staff about the same. After 1 month, I received the claim details from insurance which had showed co-pay as ZERO. Again I called the admin staff and this time there attitude and way of talking was totally changed as if they don't care. The lady was so rude, she even hanged up the phone in between of conversion. How cheap!! Still after 1 month struggling to get my co-pay back, worst part is office staff doesn't have any time lines for you to confirm when it's expected. Wow!! They are just ripping you off with your hard earned money, once they get it they dam care about you. WOULD NEVER VISIT AGAIN. Dr. Daniel himself is very good, but hopeless admin staff is spoiling his reputation. read more
