I just won't go anywhere else! The whole team is very skilled, and always the nicest! All the work I've had done over the years was done right the first time. Dr. Andriy is always willing to discuss the work with me, so I understand exactly what needs to be done, and how. When there are options, these are clearly explained. Seriously, I doesn't get better than this! read more

My current dentist Dr. Fan in Santa Rosa is out of the office due to medical reasons. He was in the office for one week and told me to see a dentist to help me with tooth number 6 that is crown and a post that had recently fallen out. A friend suggested Dr. Shevchuck. I called the office and the front desk assistant Danielle sounded helpful so I made an appointment. The next day she sent an electronic form to fill out which I did, When I arrived for my appointment she handed me a clip board and asked me to fill out the same forms yet again. Then she said she could not find my Delta Dental number. I told her I had given my number and group number on the form. Then I met a technician who had me hold metal spacers in my mouth so she could take photos of my teeth. It was so complicated that she had to have another assistant help. Meanwhile while I am sitting in the chair a fly is buzzing around my head. The technician said she would take my blood pressure and I said it will be high and she asked why? I answered that I was dealing with a dental emergency with unfamiliar staff. In came another technician to measure my gums. The first technician recorded the numbers and then said they were appearing on the screen twice. Evidently, she had the wrong page open on the app and the gum measuring technician had to re enter the numbers. The horror of all horrors in came the front desk assistant asking me for my Delta Dental numbers again and could I while sitting in the chair email her the information!! In all my years of going to the dentist I have never seen this happen!! I told her that she could take a photo of my Delta Dental information from my phone and she did not want to do that. Then she said she could not reach my Delta Dental Insurance from the number I had given and could I get another number for her????? After all that the first technician took my blood pressure and it was high!! After a short while Dr. Shevchuck came in and asked who my previous dentist was. I said Dr. Fan and received no smile or nod just a faraway stare. Dr examined my teeth and said that I had spent a lot of money in the past on dental care. I already knew that. He said I had two back molars that needed crowns but I said was in an emergency situation wanting help with tooth number 6. He talked about taking care of that tooth but I never really knew what his plan was. He yawned during that time of talking to me about my teeth. The he wanted to know when I was due for a cleaning and I said in October. He prattled on about how canines or tooth number 6 was such a strong tooth and all I could think of was "But number 6 is a crown with a post" so his words were useless. I went to the front desk and they said because they could not verify my insurance they could not give me a treatment plan. I had no idea what the doctor was planning to do. I called the office on Monday around noon and asked if the treatment plan was available and got an "oh" comment and I will look into that. I waited a few hours and called again and Mercedes answered the phone. She called me back an hour later and then sent me the plan. Dr Shevchuck wanted to replace the broken crown with another post and crown and all along I had asked for an implant. If another post and crown are done then in a few years I will need an implant. Areal wast of time and money. Horrified, I called a dentist in Santa Rosa who could see me the next day for a consultation. He took one look at tooth number 6 and referred me to an implant specialist who I met the following day. Neither of these dentists were concerned about my other teeth and focused on the tooth that fell out. Bingo. As soon as I knew I had the right dental team who were both professional and served me with a smile..oh and both offices found my insurance immediately.... i called Dr Shecchuck's office to cancel. Now today they sent me a bill for $116.00 because I was late cancelling my appointment. Be smart and do not visit this office. Your teeth deserve a professional who is caring. read more

Dr. Shevchuk is the best, and he's the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable dentist I've ever had. And his whole team is the same way. Everyone is super sweet and friendly, including the all receptionists and hygienists. They all say hello with a smile and it really makes you feel welcome. I get great cleanings from Tracy and she always does a excellent job of letting me know what I can improve on and what I'm doing correctly. She's also genuinely a nice person and is thoughtful enough to remember the little things about my life from chatting months ago. Dr. Shevchuk took the time to answer all of my questions and explain different treatment options, and was able to refer me to a good oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth removal. I couldn't wish for better dental care. Thank you for all that you do! read more

I was visiting in the area, and one of my filings cracked -- dental emergency on a vacation! With relatively few dentists to choose from, I picked Dr. Shevchuk's office. They were amazing! They fitted me into their schedule the same day. The staff was very courteous, and Doctor fixed my filing to prevent further tooth damage. For an emergency patient, I received the care as if he was my regular dentist -- same-day, professional, with only the procedure I needed, and they worked with my insurance too! read more

I rescheduled an appointment for you. However, upon speaking with my Office Manager I was reminded that our policy for New Patient's who fail to notify our office that they are unable to keep their appointment, are unfortunately unable to be rescheduled. Therefore, I have cancelled your appointment read more

Dr. Shevchuk saw us when we needed an emergency dental care. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to assure the highest quality of service. I would definitely recommend him, since he goes above and beyond to meet his patients' needs. read more

Dr. Andriy is by far and away the best dentist I've ever worked with. Skillful, creative and kind - a terrific combination - especially when correcting the work of a botched dental surgury in Mexico! In my situation, highly creative and "out-of-the-box" technical skill has been essential in fitting new crowns/bridges around improperly sized/placed pre-existing dental implants. Inspiring to watch my mouth as it transforms from "train wreck" to functional and gorgeous :)! The office uses state of the art technology to insure exact fits for crowns - which can be completed same day. Staff is amazing: sensitive, accommodating, customer-service oriented. If I could give this office 10 stars, I would - in a heart-beat! read more

I have twin daughters who both were missing a tooth in the front of their mouth and have another that was severely under-developed. They have been under orthodontic care for five years and Dr. Andriy has worked in conjunction with the orthodontist and overseen the process to assure that the end result of these two young ladies is nothing but a beautiful stunning smile. Dr. Andriy's attention to detail and commitment to perfection is second to none. Dr. Andriy and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty on several occasions. He worked with my daughters difficult college schedule and logistics of travel time. He and his staff worked late hours to put on 4 crowns in one day and the result was two stunning smiles on both girls. THEN....After five years in braces, and just one short week with a new beautiful smile, one of my daughters fell and broke one of her new crowns. I went to his office to show him the picture of my daughters accident. I was truly dreading the reality of having to re-do what was just done. Dr. Andriy's reaction was one of those moments, where you can literally feel the pressure falling off your shoulders as he shot me a great big smile and said: "We can fix that - no problem!". For the second time, Dr. Andriy and Tina, worked a scheduling miracle and arranged for my daughter to come in two days later. My daughter had an 8 o'clock appointment in the morning - at 10 o'clock she had her new crown on and with an even bigger smile than the first time, headed back for college. The service and quality of work we have received at Dr. Andriy's office is second to none. The entire staff: Tina, Naomi, Don, are wonderful and always make us feel like they truly care about our health and well-being. Thank you Dr. Andriy and all of your staff for your wonderful service and beautiful smiles! read more

This is easily the best dental care I've received. The staff is very concerned about the service they provide and are enthusiastic about their work. They clearly state areas of concern, ways to improve and what you are doing correctly while inviting feedback. It's nice feeling like you are working with a service provider rather than being treated as a form of income read more

Always Cheerful Friendly and Very Kind. I would recommend Dr. Shevchuk to anyone. He knows what he is doing. I must also say that the front office and Teeth Cleaning Team are the Best. read more

Dr. Andriy is FANTASTIC. I have had a lot of bad dentists here in the Bay Area over the years, not sure why. A neighbor recommended Dr. Andriy and said he was brilliant and she was right. He is highly intelligent and very skilled. He put a lot of time and effort into solving some lifelong dental issues, (stuff that has given me a lot of anxiety over the years because other dentists never even attempted to solve my problems, therefore I was always living under the impression my issues couldn't be solved). Dr. Anrdriy figured it out for me and it's been very surreal now living without the worry that has been with me everyday for most of my life. Also, he is great with cosmetic work. I cannot sing his praises high enough. I also adore his entire team, they are all sweethearts. Highly recommend. read more

My good friend highly recommended Dr Shevchuk so I called him last month for emergency care. I was in a lot of pain. He did what was needed to make me feel better, then went over the options to permanently fix my tooth, gave me a fair price quote and has not pressured me at all. I feel very comfortable with Dr Shevchuk and I'll definitely be using him in the future. read more

Dr. Andriy and his team are the best! I have bounced around to a lot of dental offices and am so happy to finally find one I like! Scheduling is always a breeze and I never have to wait a long time like I did at other offices. Dr. Andriy takes the time to explain procedures, answer any questions and offers different treatment plans. He truly cares about his patients and does great work. read more

Finally, I can truthfully say I love my dentist and his practice. Everyone is professional, kind and friendly.

Doctor Andriy is a caring professional of the highest standard. I have gone to him since he opened in Occidental (3 - 4 years?) and I have no complaints whatsoever. We are very fortunate to have such a fine operation in our locality. read more

Dr Andriy is the gold standard of dentists. I have never had such thorough exams and care. He explains everything with such patience. His staff is wonderful and I would always choose his hygienist Don. My house burned down in the Santa Rosa fire forcing us to move to San Rafael. I still choose to drive the forty minutes or so to be taken care of by this exceptional dentist and his staff. Barbara S. read more

I have been seeing Dr Andriy for several years. He has done major work on my poor Irish teeth. He is masterful, truly an artist, current on the latest technology, an excellent communicator, sensitive to your needs, painless and interesting. Don the hygienist is a classic raconteur and educator, making even cleanings something to look forward to. Really! The staff is caring and fun to talk with, easy to deal with the financial ends of things. It's a beautiful drive to Occidental, a tiny hamlet with great food, interesting stores and beautiful historical buildings. I trust Dr Andriy and he has given me my smile! read more

I wanted to love Dr Andriy when Dr McNeal retired and gave him a couple years try, however when he diagnosed me for 3 cavities at one time I felt compelled to get a second opinion. The second opinion found one of the cavities Dr Andriy found. I felt violated and immediately switched dentists after being part of his office for 25 years. Also, new dentist fixed something in 20 minutes Dr Andriy said he didn't know what to do about. read more
