I notified the front desk that since I would not be present at his appointment that I'd like to speak to the new physical therapist to get to know her and ask how the session went. I never received a phone call. After speaking to the therapist, my response was "Well, we don't give out patient information." I reminded her that I'm the patient's parent and he's 5 months old. Speaking to the office manager led to me being told that we missed three appointments (we missed two) and that we would no longer be able to come back. Not happy.

He walked me through the process and was very good with explaining what I needed and what to expect with my recovery. He also was great when it came to my post care follow up. He made sure I was 100% before sending me back to work. I'm so glad I decided to go to the Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons Group and Dr. Guettler! The 3 I've seen so far all have Doctorates in PT, and one has gone on to get specialized training in massage and rolfing. They will spend the first visit assessing the problem area and then will work with you to come up with a program to improve the problem, address the pain and strengthen the area. They've moved to a new space which is quite nice. It's a large open space with all the needed equipment to work with you. Mario the owner has done a great job with making it look welcoming while also being functional. The front desk staff is efficient and will help you get scheduled, make sure your insurance is covering you and will send you your bills / receipts to your phone or email. All and all an efficient operation. I made the mistake of trying a different place recently and it did not go well - the scheduling, insurance approval, communication was all done poorly - so this is something not to be taken lightly!

However -- But I cannot find a reasonable way to get through the phone system to make an appointment. I will have to get my GP to intervene for me, or I will have to go to their urgent care to get help. I probably need to get revisions on my hip replacements -- but it's like getting through to Oz to get any help, any answer on the phone.

Team Rehabilitation did and it helped greatly in my treatment. I was told I could do all of them but when I asked later about a certain one I was then told not to do that one. I ended my therapy when it came time to be checked and measured to get more appointments approved. It wasn't worth my $40 copay for each visit. I have never done that before but I know what good physical therapy should look like and feel like.

They listen to how you are doing and make suggestions of how to improve your situation. They adjust the plan as needed. The physical therapy assistants are also special folks. Even after I had been going for weeks, assistants observed and corrected postioning problems from time to time. There is no sense doing exercises if you aren't trying to get the best results! That was appreciated! I have been to two other outpatient PT groups over the years and HealthQuest has absolutely been the best!

Whether it's for physical injuries or if you're going through some mental health struggles that are causing physical injuries. My reason for registering myself here (still registered here while writing this) was due to anxiety and stress causing issues in my head, neck and shoulders which all around effected my wellbeing. From my very first appointment (the consultation), I felt very comfortable with the service I'd receive here. I was able to explain all of my issues and even get some relief on the first day! I received my first work out plan too and it was sent to an app that they work with to be able to do your work outs outside of your appointments (MedBridge GO). I started coming twice a week, and I had the same therapist, Kate, for a few appointments and moved to Rachel. Both are amazing and provide great advice, relief for the muscle tenseness that I have, and even encouragement/talk therapy that I'll be okay and get back to normal! You do your workouts here too and they change from time to time (difficulty increases or to work out different muscles) and the support you get is like clock work here! During busy times of the day, I'll have 2 to 4 different Techs trading off my workouts to assist me. So I'm never standing around waiting, I always have support. Everyone is energetic, funny, supportive and any other positive thing I can think of to make physical therapy a physical improvement, but also a mental one too. It's going to be sad when this comes to an end, but that means they did a great job! The staff here are the best of the best!
