It feels much better after some simple anti- inflammatory meds and some time off from sports/ workouts. The office workers are always helpful and cheerful as well. They engage you upon coming in and as you leave. Will definitely come here for all sports or muscle related issues, no question. This place is easy to get to, and comfortable as a patient. "Yeah - it's our policy." Really? Policy or complete inefficiency? Inefficiency for sure. I then had to sign 3 printed sheets - (is this 2023? Or 1993?). I received a 3 page receipt which I didn't even need a printed receipt for a $15 copay. Why waste the paper and tree? Why not at least ask me if I wanted or needed? Or even better email if I need it (doubtful). Doctor experience ?- great. Office experience? - terrible.

It is clean, has equipment that looks like it's from this decade, staff is friendly & PROFESSIONAL, etc. I took my six year old in this past weekend when he had a cartwheel gone wrong and I was worried he may have broken his thumb. We waited just long enough for me to fill out the two page contact info paperwork and give them our insurance card. No more than ten minutes. A nurse/assistant took us back to a small exam room where we waited about 5 minutes before the doctor came in to see us. The nurse/medical assistant had his history pulled up from all his Beaumont doctor visits, so they must be connected to the Beaumont system? It was really nice to not have to fill that information all out, especially if this was a urgent visit. A young male doctor came in a few minutes later and took a look at it, told us he didn't think it was a break but would X-ray to be sure. Five minutes later, the X-ray was done and his thumb was splinted. I am so used to doctors taking at least half the day. Campbell UC checked him out, X-rayed, and treated in under an hour. Impressive! We will come here next time, for sure. Just hopefully not too soon ;-)

I went to Dr Homer for a second opinion. He was very thorough and explained all our options. He made sure my son was comfortable and let him be part of our decision process. Unisource was the facility where Dr. G did my surgery and it was great. Dr. Guettler was such an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon. He walked me through the process and was very good with explaining what I needed and what to expect with my recovery. He also was great when it came to my post care follow up. I notified the front desk that since I would not be present at his appointment that I'd like to speak to the new physical therapist to get to know her and ask how the session went. I never received a phone call. After speaking to the therapist, my response was "Well, we don't give out patient information." I reminded her that I'm the patient's parent and he's 5 months old. Speaking to the office manager led to me being told that we missed three appointments (we missed two) and that we would no longer be able to come back. Not happy.
