After waiting nearly 10 days to get into see the Dr., they refused to see me because my global insurance authorization had not been issued by the insurance company and PCP. I asked them for 30 minutes to straighten it out and offered to private pay for the consult in cash. They refused to see me, stating their policy is not to treat any patient who is self paying. My PCP says they back date these authorizations all the time and it should not have precluded them from seeing me, especially given my acute level of pain. I had to be wheeled into their office because I couldn't walk. They seemed much more focused on getting out for the holiday than showing compassion to someone who could not walk. This place is clearly all about the money and not the patients. I fully expect to end up in the ER this holiday weekend, so thank you for that, St. Clair Orthopedics!

After a 1.5hr wait (because he chooses to schedule many many patients all at the same exact time, medical staff have told me that some doctors do this because they want to make more money. It is not something they have to do, and since his daughter is an ice skater in the Olympics, which costs ALOT of money. I'm assuming he puts 10 patients at one time so he can fund her little side gig. Even though there are tons of patients who are being treated poorly, yet still being charged for these visits. Ice skating is not more important than people's lives and their health. I've never met such a poorly run office in my life. You can tell that everyone is miserable here and they take it all out on the patients who paying the money to keep the office running. The front desk was horrible, they won't help you in any way shape or form, so if you have any questions for the doctor, which you will likely have because he will only spend 2 to 3 minutes with you after waiting 1.5hrs and not explain anything he wants you to do. Then when you need your x-rays. sent to another doctor, they have no ability to do that without having to burn the a desk because their office is so technologically far behind. So you have to pay $10 for a for them to burn the images on it, which is , but Samantha, the woman who is going to help you with that treat you absolutely horribly first. She's interrupt almost every single sentence you begin with and when you ask her to please stop she's gonna become enraged and she's gonna continue to do it over and over and over again. And a 10 minute phone call is going to occur when all she needed to tell you was three sentences which would've taken about 30 seconds. All because she is so angry and so miserable and she's trying to put it patient on the phone. This entire office is just horrific. And I have heard people in other groups online who have had very bad surgeries from Dr. Zingas and had to go to other surgeons to fix his mistakes.

We have been in chiropractic care for over 10 years in the Bay Area and it has made a difference in our mobility, spine health and overall feeling of fitness. When evaluating chiropractors, there were a few things that I considered : 1. Method of chiropractic care. I was looking specifically for a chiropractor who had an adjustable table and would do manual adjustments and manipulations. Specifically, the chiropractor that we had in the bay area. Also practice sports medicine and focus focused on flexibility. 2. Availability of hours. We were looking for a chiropractor that would also be able to meet our appointment needs which we're going to be after our working day as it is very hard for us to step away from the office. 3. Great bedside manner. We were also looking for a chiropractor that wouldn't be too crunchy and professional and fairly expedient. 4. This could be the most important one, but the fees charges upfront costs and explanation of benefits. Having worked with a chiropractor for over a decade I knew how important it was that the front of the office was run smoothly and we were charged the correct amount for our fees and transparent on the treatment plan. We were very happy that Dr. Nate at Clairpointe Family Chiropractic was able to meet all four of our criteria and we have been going to Dr. Nate religiously every Monday sometimes twice a week if needed for our routine care for the last two years. Dr. Nate has helped me recover my mobility from the birth of my twins, as well as keep my spine healthy as my body goes through many of the changes that you can expect. Working at a computer every day also comes with a lot of pain and tension that he is able to alleviate with his skillful hands. After having the girls, Dr. Nate even assisted us with making sure the girls spines were correct and an alignment (no real adjustments as they are babies) which was great peace of mind for a first time mom knowing the importance that a correctly forming spine can have on the rest of your life. The front of the office is fantastic. The administrative people are very transparent, and Dr. Nate personally went through are portion of the care plan and they even took our insurance. This was a nice surprise because in California most chiropractors leave it to you to file your own insurance claims and you are responsible for the entire amount and you have to get your money back from whatever benefits you have from your insurance company directly. The staff at Clairpointe Family Chiropractic made the claims for us and gave us unexpected fee that we would have to pay after our insurance was processed. They were very transparent on this portion and they said sometimes the insurance takes a long to process the claims that there may be a screwup if they do not pay based on the coverage that we have and we fully understood that. I say all this because I did see a review that said they do not process their payments correctly and I wanted to address that concern you may have as looking for a new Chiropractor directly because it is quite the opposite experience that we have had and they are very prompt transparent and customer service oriented.
