I've been seeing Dr. Sinawi for about the last year and have alternated from multiple times a week…read morevisits to a few a month. I originally made my first appointment to help with mid back pain that wouldn't quit. I requested an appointment through their site and was promptly contacted directly to set up an appointment. A few things stand out to me about Dr. Sinawi that may be able to sum up my experience: flexible, friendly, persistent and creative. Flexible: I work in Detroit but live in RO and I can't tell you how many times i've called and said I'd be late due to traffic. Every time, I get an immediate and friendly reply from Meghan the receptionist (who is super friendly and personable herself) letting me know if they can make it work. 9.9/10 they are able to fit me in. They advise I may have to wait a little but I swear i've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. I appreciate that flexibility with all that competes for my time. Dr. Sinawi seems to understand that life happens and his priority is getting you the care you need. Added bonus, they recently added online scheduling that you can do from your phone or computer! Could it get any easier than that!? Friendly: No one wants to go to a Chiropractor that's a total butt or stuck up about the practice... at least I don't. Dr. Sinawi is a fun guy who is relatable and makes it easy to communicate with. I truly enjoy my visits from a human level. Good people give good experiences. This is also important to me because it creates an environment where I feel comfortable telling from if something did or didn't work. He is open to feedback and does not take it personal. If you do see him, be honest with him about what is working and not. That friendly demeanor isn't just a front, he will actually listen. Persistent and Creative: I'm going to lump these two together since I think they are two skills that complement Dr. Sinawi in his approach. When my first few sessions didn't get the results we were looking for right away he tried all kinds of different techniques until we found what worked for me. He keeps great notes to reference back to and always remember what did and did not work. At one point earlier this year I had my TMJ flare up and kick me in the face so bad I was going crossed eyed from the pain. Dr. Sinawi helped me with adjustments to my jaw and over time, we found relief from the adjustments that I just wasn't getting from the Dentist. I'd also like to add that Dr. Sinawi is open and even encourages complementary treatments. For example, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy, when it will be effective. Through his recommendation I started seeing a message therapist and the combination is really working for me. I see this as another example of how he has his patients best interest in mind. Bonus: He is also open late on Tuesday and Thursday which super helps us folks who are working the ol' 9-5.

I went to Athletico for a shoulder injury that was very severe. I could not work or sleep or exist…read morein any position without absolute agony. The staff were excellent for therapy and very friendly. My shoulder has healed completely and I do believe it is because of the results from Athletico. their staff taught me how to rehabilitate my shoulder and also how to continue doing exercises on my own so that I could continue to progress after my sessions were done. Their therapists seemed knowledgeable in the techniques they were using and had a wide variety of approaches to helping me. The staff knew my name when I walked in the door every day and went out of their way to be very welcoming. The equipment was reasonably well-maintained and kept clean each day. The facility was also clean and well lit and inviting. However, this is a four star review for a few important and consistent reasons: I always felt like they were overbooked and understaffed. I never saw the same therapist twice in a row for the months that I had regular appointments multiple times a week. It always seemed like whoever was available would read my chart and then decide on the fly what to do that day. They would often have to ask each other questions about what I had done the day before in order to decide what to do with me today. They did not have appointments available that worked with my schedule. Even booking weeks in advance they could not seem to find any convenient time spots for me. This meant I had to either leave work hours early twice a week and lose income or get up 2 hours earlier than I would normally get up to go to appointments before work because they just could not accommodate me with any convenient schedule. All in all I would say that I definitely recommend AthletiCo for physical therapy, but there are some real admin, staffing, or management issues that could use improvement in order to make the experience feel much better.

I have been seeing Julia for the past few months for a low back injury. I've seen a couple of other pts and wasn't seeing much improvement. My goal is to return to sport and Julia is always thinking outside of the box and tailoring my exercise routine to the specific movements that are painful/challenging. She is very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping me reach my goals. The techs are great as well. One other thing I love about athletico is that they offer free injury screenings so that you can figure out what direction you need to go in without spending a ton of money (mri, X-rays, doctors, etc.)

I chose HealthQuest Physical Therapy over my usual PT clinic due to their availability. I was…read moresurprised to learn the business is owned by a physical therapy assistant (PTA) rather than a physical therapist, although a licensed PT is on staff. Their online reviews are impressive, which influenced my decision. I began therapy in April 2025 for mild lower back discomfort that appeared only in the mornings. I had no pain or major physical limitations -- just some minor restrictions unrelated to this issue. After my first visit and following instructions to perform two sets of simple exercises before getting out of bed, my discomfort improved by 75-80%. I also acknowledged that I likely need a new mattress. To keep this review clear, I've outlined my experience in pros and cons: Pros: 1. The staff is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Insurance was billed accurately. Appointments were easy to book and reschedule. 2. I was given helpful at-home exercises. 3. Parking was convenient and readily available. Cons: 1. While treatment tables were wiped and pillowcases changed between patients, I never saw equipment cleaned after use. 2. There was inconsistency in instructions from different staff members. 3. Appointments often started late due to overcrowding in a small room. 4. The most concerning issue -- and the primary reason for this review -- was an inaccurate and misleading progress letter meant for my referring physician. Out of curiosity, I opened the letter -- and was shocked. The description did not reflect my actual condition or capabilities. For example, it claimed I was "unable to sit or stand for long periods of time." This is completely untrue: I regularly walk over three miles a day (logged on my Apple Watch), climb stairs at home throughout the day, and have no difficulty with either activity. When I raised my concerns, the PTA who wrote the letter and the owner, Kelly Schmitz both responded. Kelly apologized and attempted to justify the false claims, stating I had once mentioned back soreness after a 17-hour travel day. While that was true, it was a temporary and isolated issue -- not a chronic limitation. Still, it was misrepresented in the letter. It also inaccurately stated that I had issues with squatting and lifting -- again, not true. I participate in a group exercise class where I routinely perform about 200 squats per session without issue. Regarding balance, I disclosed during my first visit that I have mild MS-related balance issues, which I've managed for over a decade. This has never affected my ability to drive, wear heels, walk my dog, or complete daily activities. The report falsely stated that this impacted my ability to complete basic ADLs (activities of daily living) -- like bathing, dressing, or eating -- which is absolutely not the case. I've never experienced those limitations at any point in my life. Final Thoughts: If you choose HealthQuest, I strongly urge you to review all documentation they provide before forwarding it to any physician. Inaccurate reporting like this could lead to unnecessary treatment, higher medical costs, and incorrect medical records. Because of this experience, I will not return to HealthQuest.
