I genuinely cannot say enough good things about my experience here! From the moment I walked in, Eric was welcoming and thorough. He took the time to inspect my necklace and explain what needed to be fixed. I was then brought downstairs, where I got to sit and watch Herman work on my necklace up close on a TV screen. I could see every little detail of the repair as it was happening, which was fascinating! While I was downstairs, Courtney came over and started explaining everything to me. At this point, I felt like I was on a little excursion tour and I was loving every minute of it! She shared how Herman got his start in jewelry repair when he was just 9 years old in Ecuador and how he's spent years perfecting his craft. Watching him work while hearing his story made me appreciate the craftsmanship that much more. My necklace was repaired, cleaned, and polished to absolute perfection. But here's where my experience got even better. While I was downstairs, Diana complimented me on my necklace and the diamond earrings I was wearing. What she didn't know was that those earrings had been driving me CRAZY for the longest time. Because of their size and weight, they would constantly tilt downward instead of sitting beautifully on my ears. It's such a small thing, but when you have beautiful earrings, you actually want people to SEE them! Diana asked what kind of backings I was using. I told her screwbacks, and she smiled and told me to come find her upstairs when I was finished. Well, I did, and she pulled out these jumbo-sized screwbacks and said, "Let's see if these work." She cleaned my earrings, had me try them on with the new backings, and I kid you not, I got emotional LOL. My diamonds were FINALLY sitting upright and looking the way they were supposed to! She jokingly called them the "magic bra" for earrings, which honestly couldn't have been a more accurate description. SOLD! I walked in for a necklace repair and somehow walked out with a problem solved that I hadn't even come in to address. All because Diana was observant enough to notice something and thoughtful enough to offer a solution. That to me is exceptional customer service. Before I left, Eric inspected my necklace one more time and even gave me some helpful advice on how to properly lay and store it to avoid future stretching or breaks. What really stood out to me was how genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful everyone was. Nobody was trying to sell me something I didn't need. They were simply passionate about what they do and took the time to make sure I was happy. I left Gennaro Jewelers absolutely elated. Between Eric, Courtney, Herman, and Diana, what could have been a simple jewelry repair turned into such a memorable experience.

When i called Time Pieces Repaired they responded to my call within an hour and set up a time to come to my house the upcoming weekend. When she arrived and looked over the clock i was gave an assessment of it. Shee took the time to educate me about the clock, it's workings, how to care for it and what to use to clean it. She was very knowledgeable and took great care to get the clock operational again. It is very refreshing to find a service that has great integrity and old world knowledge about vintage clocks. I made the hour or so drive out to their Brooklyn store for the first time a couple months ago when I was in town - only to find out that it was closed. I emailed them asking to set up an appointment because maybe I thought it was by appointment only. By the time they responded to my email (which was a week later) I was out of town again which was unfortunate. Now, fast forward six months to the present day. I am in town for a couple of days. I email them again asking to set up an appointment. No response. I check online again and call their listed phone number and get an automated response system which lists the store hours and it should be open. I even attempted to reach their store representative several times to no avail. I drive all the way out there and it's closed again! Look, if you're going to have your store hours posted online along with a automated response system confirming those same hours, you better be open. Hopefully no one else makes the same mistake as me. Don't bother trying to visit the store - it's a total waste of time and expensive gas.

I was in the market for a new watch to mark a life event, and through a few months of research, I…read moredecided to get myself an Omega. I reached out to Element in Time as a customer from out of state, and they offered the BEST price shipped. I contacted them about the piece and was told that though it is not physically in stock, they would be able to source the watch and to give them a few days. For the price I was quoted, I was more than willing to wait. Personally, I'm a customer that has no problem missing out on the in-person "AD" or boutique experience, especially if it could save me some money. In a day I was sent a message, letting me know that they were able to source the watch, and I just had to be patient while they received the watch to inspect and forward on to me. My new Aqua Terra is on my wrist a week later and I can't say enough good about Element in Time. They were prompt with responding to all my inquiries and kept me posted on the status all throughout the process. Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future as life happens!
