They have always been honest with me and were always willing to negotiate a bit. I've been asked if their offer was enough, meaning how much am I looking to get. When your selling it's what they are willing to pay. They offer both. With pawning (and obviously this is for ppl who are not familiar with this) there is SOME wiggle room bc you pay back what you borrow plus interest. There interest rates are a tad higher than say, a few other spots I've been to in midtown. But who wants to trek there when you need $ fast for 1%? It's convenient and you're supporting a local business. Also there was one time when I was traveling and forgot my pick up/refinance date. They even give a grace period after your date. I forget how long but I think it's 30 days. Then I missed that too. When I realized I was freaking out bc there was a family heirloom involved. I called and they were super cool and understanding. They could have just kept my jewelry and it would have been completely legal and justified. Not to say you should miss your date but if you have to, I would call. I'm willing to bet these guys will work something out for you.
