Items to be done before delivery, were half assed! And many left undone! They delivered a DIRTY CAR! Stains on leather even seat belts! Dirt and crumbs on back seat ! Salt stains on rugs etc- even smelled badAnd Oddly wrong Tires and rims! Rims poorly touched up from damage, cheaply painted over instead o shaving down the damage and painting as discussed, tires and rims are fakes (Not original. )Codes don't match ! (we only seen the vehicle with its winters on, had summers at delivery) tints were removed then I requested to replace them! They almost charged me for it too! Had I not sent images pricing the vehicle originally came with tints all around! (They had a week to do it, I was in contact with my sales person and business manager, reminding them to make sure; of, this and that, would be done, they confirmed it would be on multiple occasions! And constantly reassured me.... HOWEVER we're still working in resolving the issues! :( ***** As a comparison, My husband bought a BMW from Newmarket! Was delivered in immaculate condition! Compared to mine. Although I love my car, because of its make, model and features, I feel Heartbroken and feel underwhelmed of how they treated us, my vehicle and the transaction at the end. Also were shocked That they felt their below average standards are acceptable for such expensive and high end vehicles. Especially since we were very clear about what we expect and require to get done in advance! What a shame. Hopefully they will somehow resolve these issues however as of now, it seems I need to drop off my car to them at least 2 more times, and take it to my own detailing shop, which I will lose access to my vehicle for days and days in total, if not weeks. ‍ unnecessary And expensive run around. Will update when things change.

Worst experience I've ever had at any VW. After buying 5 vehicles from this dealer and several…read moremore from others I would have expected a higher standard. I brought my new 2021 R line Atlas in for a repair and asked for a quote to fix my windshield chip. Both speedy glass and the guy at Canadian tire said a repair was possible, however my VW protection package covered up to 500$ so why not go to the dealer. After they inspected the chip they somehow created a 2 ft Crack 10-15" away with no connection to the 1.5 month old chip. The service manager said he has video footage it happened on their watch, but they say the windshield needed to be replaced and couldnt be repaired... (after creating the crack why wouldn't you you say that?!) I called VW customer care Canada and they told me they advised the service manager to replace the windshield, he still refused. And VW customer care said they can't force their hand. The service manager bullied my wife into using our entire $500 VW protection plus warranty and claiming under our insurance, (Is this Fraud?!? They broke it!) Then paying their exuberant rates above and beyond what both those wouldn't cover. Almost 300$. While this happened I came by to grab my 2 car seats where I was greated by no one. My Atlas with 2 $700 car seats and a $2600 stroller (silver wave) was left unlocked and I grabbed them and left with no confrontation. Worst of all the service manager had the gull to say me driving with my 1 and 3 year old with the windshield, they destroyed, was as safe as driving as with the nickle sized chip. I wish I could hold this appauling service manager to a higher standard. He was offended I called his department out and expected him to stand behind his team. What a joke.

Then I had a problem with the car two months later, it started shutting down when I was driving. In the paperwork they say I need to monitor to be sure the car is fixed properly, so it seems like they're not confident it's working correctly. I no longer feel safe driving this car and would not buy another Volkswagen.

He called me in and told me that the engine needed to be rebuilt for a couple of thousands dollars. I was shocked. I called him a week later " Isabelle don't put any more money in your car, your engine is cracked" I was so depressed I stayed in bed for 2 weeks reading books. Then I called Salim. CAA towed the car to Salim's. The engine was perfect. The problem was the oil tank and the fan of the rad. It did take longer to fix that was initially promised. Salim made 100% sure that the car was in PERFECT RIDING CONDITION before releasing it. No stone was left unturned. It did take 3.5 days. Parts had to be ordered, some delivered parts were the wrong parts, that does take time. The car is running better than it ever did. Salim kept me in the loop as the work was done. I HIGHLY recommend Salim's Auto Repair. He is worth taking a detour to get your car fix by him. He also shows us each part that was broken and replaced.

I've been servicing my Lexus at Downtown Toyota for some time. Although their prices are on the…read morehigher side, I continued going there because I wanted qualified technicians working on my vehicle and had generally been satisfied. Yesterday, I brought my car in for service and my total bill was $520. As soon as I got into the car after pickup, I noticed the tire pressure warning light was on. I didn't think much of it at first since this occasionally happens and I have a small inflator at home. However, when I got home -- which is literally one minute from the dealership -- and parked in my garage, I heard air rapidly leaking from a tire. I checked and found that one of the tires was completely flat. Given how close I live, this clearly happened immediately after leaving their service department. I tried calling right away but couldn't get through. The next day, after calling several times, I finally reached my service advisor, Lora, who asked me to bring the vehicle back. Instead of a constructive discussion, I was directed to an aggressive staff member who insisted there was "no way" this could have happened at their dealership, without showing any willingness to properly assess the situation. The cost to patch a tire is minimal -- something that could have been resolved easily and professionally. I've already spent over $2,000 at this dealership, and as someone who lives nearby, my lifetime value would easily exceed $10,000. Losing a loyal customer over such a small issue -- and handling it with defensiveness rather than customer care -- is disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has cost them my future business.

I brought my car to Downtown Toyota on November 5, 2024, at 4:00 PM for a wheel alignment and…read morehanded it over to Tony. The next day, around 8:00 AM, Tony called to inform me that the alignment was completed. I went back, paid $192.10, and picked up my vehicle. However, during my drive, I noticed that my steering wheel was still off-center by about 10 degrees to the right. Upon visually checking the wheels, I realized that the alignment had not been done at all. I reached out via email to Javid, the service manager, to inform him of the issue, but no one has responded. This isn't my first problem with Downtown Toyota, but it's definitely the most frustrating one. It makes me question whether they're actually performing maintenance services or just charging me without doing the work. I'd like to briefly describe two other issues I faced with this dealership. When purchasing my car, I bought a tire and rim warranty, which was supposed to cover any damage for repairs or replacement as necessary. My rims had scratches, so I requested repair, but Tony informed me that rim repair was not included in my warranty, and I was sent away. After several follow-ups and multiple emails, they finally ordered a new rim and called me back. Additionally, I bought my car new, but ever since day one, there has been a persistent mark on the rear right window whenever it's opened or closed. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, but Tony asked me to pay $160 to fix it. These issues are just a few among many I have encountered at Downtown Toyota, both during the car purchase process and with the service department. In my experience, Downtown Toyota only cares until the contract is signed and the payment is collected; afterward, it's nothing but stress. I strongly advise against doing business here. For the first time in my life, I'm choosing to have my car serviced outside an authorized dealership because I no longer trust them.
