On vacation in the Charlevoix area, we experienced what no vacationer wants to experience: car…read moreproblems. Specifically, a flat tire. Bad luck. Good luck: this business was just a block away. We slowly drove our car into their very busy shop on a Thursday morning and were immediately greeted by two staff who left a project to help us. Within 10-minutes, they had our tire off and in a tub of water to find the leak. Because we had driven a while on a low tire, unknowingly, there was evidence of side wall damage. We dreaded a big bill and long wait. More good luck: a screw was retrieved, the pressure left in the tire was adequate to not ruin it and our hole was foxed within 15-minutes. The auto repair staff and office staff were all wonderful. They were reassuring, honest and made us feel at home. They could have easily put us at the back of the line (we are out of towners) or sold us an expensive new tire. We walked away with a $25 repair bill. They even let us keep our car on their property while we went to breakfast and explored downtown on bikes. You don't find business like this these days. Please give them your business and respect. Wish we lived closer. They would be our go-to for car repairs.

I ordered 2 cars 4 months ago paid a deposit discussed pricing and made a custom order for each one. Rep told me the car takes 4-6 weeks. I paid a 500$ deposit for each car to lock in the deal! I didn't hear from them for 3 months so I called them, they said the previous rep got promoted and this new guy is taking over. Also that the cars should arrive in 7-14 days roughly. I'm at the 4 th month mark and still no update or phone call or anything so I called. Rep said he's sorry the previous rep is fired now, and all his orders are wrong. They said both cars are going up in pricing 200$ minimum more than quoted initially. Up until this point I have been patient and understanding, but this sounds like a SCAM. It sounded as if the dealer wanted to get me to not take my order so he can sell it to someone else. That was my vibe. The crazy part is I paid a 500$ deposit and I have my order receipt also I have my text message thread showing the quotes and everything. I'm currently waiting to hear back from management on how they want to handle this. But it's not too promising update coming as soon as I hear back from them

Came down and had the absolute friendliest service I've ever had. He topped me off and even put some rain-x on my windshield as my wipers are broken atm. Checked my tire pressure too!! I will be bringing my vehicle to Performance Plus Quick Lube of Charlevoix and Dan from here on out for my oil changes and top offs. Cannot speak highly enough of them. Thank you!

I will avoid going here again at all costs. I went for an oil change and reminded the techs that my…read morecar took 6 quarts of oil. They assured me they knew and would add the proper amount of oil. I was charged for the extra oil, which was fine because it was needed. I asked the tech, Daniel, if my engine looked like it was burning or leaking any oil. He stated "no" my engine looked good. HOWEVER, with 51% of my oil life not used, my oil light came on. I was back in the Chicagoland area and went to my regular dealer. When they checked my car it had less than 2 quarts of oil left in it. I again had the engine checked and there were NO signs of it leaking or burning oil. When I came back to Charlevoix I spoke with Daniel again. He said my car is known for burning oil. I pointed out the only time it happens is when I need to go to a quick oil change place like his. He looked at my receipts and saw the other place used the same type of oil as they did. When I asked if my regular dearer used magic oil, he did not have a response other than my car must be burning oil despite no one including him being able to see it. I have owned this car for four years and this is only the second time it has been low on oil, and both times I needed to get the oil changed at a quick oil change location. There was no offer to correct the mistake or to credit a future service. Needless to say I will never go back here again and would not recommend it to anyone, especially people from out of town.
