We decided to have a late breakfast at Downtown Diner yesterday morning. Being a Saturday, I expected it to be busy, but they took care of us right away, and we were able to sit at the bar. The vibe of the place was great--cozy, welcoming, and the staff seemed very friendly. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away by the food. Both dishes we tried left me wanting a little more. The bacon could have been cooked more to my liking, and the skillet felt like it was missing something--maybe some peppers or onions to elevate the flavor. For the price, I expected a dish that stood out more, especially since I feel I could recreate it better at home. One thing that could be improved is the coffee service. Refills took longer than I'm used to, especially for a breakfast spot where warm coffee tends to flow more consistently. That said, I do like the charm of the little celebration town where the diner is located. Next time, I'd probably try a different dish and consider sitting outside to enjoy the ambiance. read more

The service is spectacular but it is basically a denny's in Celebration. Hard lump in my grits, they don't have butter, the $20 omelette was dry, and the place is sorta dirty. Don't look up. Moldy tiles The pros. The staff are quick and kind. And of course the location is great. Maybe they need help? I know a person. Love checking in early via Yelp/Apple Maps, makes for a quick visit. This is a fantastic diner with really great service. I have visited 15+ times and never had a bad experience. Their menu changes design a lot, but the favorites stay. They are BUSY on Sunday mornings, so get in line early. read more

I was in town to volunteer at GKTW Village and decided to try this place for breakfast before my shift. Like everything else in the town of Celebration, the Diner is adorable. They offer indoor, counter, and outdoor seating. I opted for the indoor seating in order to get more pictures for my review. I am so glad I did because the indoor seating is so cute. The menu has many breakfast options, including eggs, pancakes, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and even breakfast pizzas. I went with an old standard, a vegetable and cheese omelet. We love the vibes, the amazing friendly staff, and the amazing food! I love how there are so many vegan options. Breakfast is served until 1 pm but I heard they will extend breakfast to all day -yayyy. They use the "Just Egg" vegan egg for the scramble and they also have impossible meat, avocado toast, so many vegan options. I enjoyed this Disney themed diner. Super fun and it was in the middle of October so it was decked out in fall and Halloween theme inside. Gave me haunted mansion vibes fo sho! The area was decorated around the diner too which was just so nice. The weather was perfect for this cute little breakfast place. Loved my server but man....it took forever for someone to acknowledge my existence. The team they have seemed to work cohesively and was very friendly. The Oj was yummy, coffee was so watery that I gave it back and drank my actual water. Lol. Pork sausage links were cooked on the griddle and not deep fried to a lazy man standards. Potatoes were seasoned nicely, french toast was yummy but super sweet I didn't even finish the first piece. Very cool themed diner and I enjoyed it but the food is nothing to write home about. Probably will not be back but of course take your little ones to this Disney themed diner and enjoy yourself. Do it on the weekday because I am sure it's packed on the weekends. Customer service was great. We added our name to the waitlist via the Yelp app which was great because we did it as we were parking. Front desk staff and our waitress were friendly and professional, we had a stroller with us and they stored it in the back for us while we ate. The AC was broken the day we went and it was very humid. I am not sure if that had anything to do with why our food wasn't as good as we would have liked. The French toast and egg platter came out cold and the chicken from the chicken and waffle plate was under seasoned and over cooked. It was very dry and really hard. I'm from NJ which is known for its diners. My boyfriend and I were exploring the celebration area and I was super excited to see a diner since it's not as common to find here in the Orlando area. I order a chocolate milkshake. They were out of whipped cream which was okay for me. The milkshake was a standard shake in my opinion. I've had better. I was excited to try the chicken and waffles but out of five stars I would rate it a 3. Waffles were flat and had no fluff to them. Chicken was great though! The home fries were a 5 out of 5. What a super fun diner in Celebration! I'm not much for theming, but somehow it worked here. Maybe it was because it was dumping rain and a 50's diner made things seem cheerful and welcoming. Our breakfast special was just what we needed on a day when we'd been dumped on from a rain storm. They even had Tabasco to spice up our eggs and plenty of hot coffee with no pressure to clear our table and get out. I would definitely go back here for a relaxing meal and hopefully better weather so we could enjoy the patio. read more

I met with several friends from different parts of Florida and New York! This place was recommended to us for lunch, and boy am I glad they did! Love the diner atmosphere. we were seated quickly and our server came quickly with water. He was a blast! It was like we were old friends. Wish I remembered his name, but I don't! Living in Celebration, this is my go to restaurant to bring friends and family that are visiting in town. The menu has great options for even picky eaters, and I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. Once or twice my order was incorrect, but every time the servers were professional and made things right either by adjusting our bill or bringing different food. The Downtown Diner is a little on the pricy side for the type of American food they offer, but kind of expected for this affluent area. We had a blast here! It was all decorated for Christmas with a Whoville theme. Our server Dave gave great recommendations and was charismatic. We loved his shirt! The cinnamon roll pancakes were amazing and I loved the diner sauce! They don't have a bar anymore, which was the only upset. Waitress was really nice, she was from the Virgin Islands, very chatty and fun. Ambiance is relaxing.
