I do see other reviewers here saying that the staff have been rude, but I've never had that experience. The store is well laid out and the selection's always up to date and organized. The staff usually are willing to offer me recommendations. I'm a middle-aged guy and don't really keep up on comic book news. So I appreciate when I can just ask, "What's good right now?" and have them suggest some books for me.

This place works great for me because it's really close to my house and it's locally owned. That way I don't have to drive a long way to find what I need for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign. The Hero's Emporium has always had a great selection of brushes, paints, and miniatures that I have come to rely heavily upon as a Dungeon Master. I am always able to find the miniatures that I am looking for whether that be a female gnome paladin or several packages of gnolls that I can paint and throw at my party. All the miniatures are very reasonably priced too, so I can get even larger miniatures like a storm giant for only around $15. For as long as miniatures take me to paint, this is well worth the money. I also want to mention that they offer a decent selction of dice sets to choose from, which is important for any D&D campaign, especially when your dice are fickle. I also love that they offer both old and new sourcebooks for D&D as well as official Nolzurs paint sets, and Icons of the Realms. This gives me a large pool to choose what will be most exciting for my party. Finally I wanted to mention that this business has also done tabletop nights. Although I personally have not attended one of those events, I support the space this business is building for the tabletop community. The staff has also always been very welcoming and helpful, making sure that I am finding everything that I am searching for. I am also occasionally able to find expansion packs for a bit more obscure card game called Smash Up here, which is delightful considering that it's so hard to find in just a regular store like Target. I will continue to come back and support this business in their mission to help the tabletop community thrive.

This store has so much to offer. It's almost infinite. They have anything from common games to…read morehard to find and almost obscure games. They are always so knowledgeable about everything and are more than happy to chat you up about anything in the game realm. If they happen to not have what you want or need, they are also very motivated to help direct you elsewhere. It's a magical and intriguing place to walk around and get lost in. I'm glad they are close to where I live too. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be back.

Faraday has only been open a couple of months but I think it's gonna fill a little niche. The owners are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The store has a Huge selection of toys and action figures from every imaginable show. From Star Wars to Star Trek from He-Man to ohhhhhsooomanyothers.... They have a wide selection of new boxed action figures to collectibles. Divided into a front store and a back gaming room it's very spacious. They are also offering a movie night. Their website says that they are a LGBTQ-led store, which is really neat and not something you see very often in the Midwest. They specialize in underground games, small indie games and Kickstarter-backed games. Good Games is located in downtown Indianapolis, just off of Monument Circle. It's centrally located and in the middle of everything, so it's a good spot to relax and play games.
