Been coming to this window tint shop for a while now. The older gentleman there always does a great job and clean, consistent, and done right every time. Never had any issues. Definitely recommend!!

I went here to get my front driver and passenger windows tinted and was not impressed with the work. It's been two weeks and there are still minor bubbles visible. I'm also really disappointed with the 'bite marks' left on the film and the fact that the rubber seals were cut during the install (see photos). I've had cheaper carbon tints prior that were much higher quality than this. I got premium ceramic tint, so I would've expected better craftsmanship. To repond to the business managers comment: The "bite mark" photo was taken from inside the driver side. The rubber seal I am referring to is in the vertical direction on the outside of the passenger window. The pictures are from the same car. But regardless of the rubber seal, my main concerns are with the small bubbles and "bite mark" on the film as this was the more expensive "premium ceramic" tint film that I purchased. If you can provide that video that you have from the installation for the affected areas, I would appreciate it. It was for a white honda accord that occured on friday January 30.

I recently came here to get my windows tinted, the service was really good I made an appointment in the morning and they scheduled me for an appointment at 10am, their quality is really good is heat resistant and they work really good they even take 30 min extra to see if theres any bubbles or if they messed up, i recommend this place if you wanna get your windows tinted

Downey Tinting is the GOAT of window tinting. I've had every single one of my cars (8 total) done here, and at this point, David and Jeffrey are basically my car's fairy godfathers--except instead of a pumpkin, I drive away in a sleek, tinted chariot. Their attention to detail is chef's kiss, their professionalism is unmatched, and their customer service? It's like Chick-fil-A-level, but for tint. They're always on time, always overdeliver, and my car windows leave looking like they just got a luxury spa treatment. If you're thinking about going anywhere else... don't. Just don't.

I got the quote thru Yelp and I liked the price cuz they were cheapest from the other shops and they have a good reviews, and I drove 1 hour to tint my car. They have fastest service ! I took my car, my brother's car, and also recommended them to everyone. Attentive, hardworking, and honest owners that pays attention to all the details and gets the job done quick. There's a mall right across the street, but honestly they were done with my car by the time I finished eating! I got the S9 in 70% in the front and 20% in the back and very happy about the quality of their amazing work. They have the best prices for the quality of the work and the tint film they offer. I had a 9AM appointment. When I arrived at 8:40AM they already had a car in their working bay. I gave them my keys and I took my boys to Dunkin Donuts 2 doors down to get breakfast. I figure it would be about 2 hours like I'm used to, but when we returned at 9:30AM, they were finishing up the last window. I am beyond blown away. I paid and was out the door by 9:50AM. We had the entire rest of the day to do whatever we wanted. This is the second car that I've gotten tinted here at Stereo Cell. I believe it was the S5 Phantom series that I got. It's an old car so I didn't want to spring for their most expensive option. Their price was beyond reasonable. Other places wanted $145 - $190 for carbon tint. They provided this Ceramic tint for $200 for 5 windows. I got 20% in the front and 5% for the 3 rear windows. The car looks great. I wanted the UV and the heat protection. All of my other cars were carbon tint until now. The difference is spectacular. In this hot California heat, it was 90 degrees that day and my AC didn't have trouble keeping up, and the sun did not feel horrible on my skin through the tint. My go-to shop for window tint now. A great family owned small business. You can tell they take pride in their work. So kind and courteous in true asian fashion. They explain everything well and make sure you know what to expect. They even put a little reminder sticker over your window buttons. read more

My second time coming to StereoCell for window tinting. Staff said it would be 2 hours to finish but did not have to wait that long, also they are very informative and they do a great job. Was looking to get my car windows tinted talked to several different places and this place bar far was the best bang for my buck. Talked to Jessica and she was very welcoming answered all of the questions I had and set up an appointment on the spot. Super attentive and was eager to help me out. Now that is customer service. The price was in the perfect range for the quality of tint I wanted and was not disappointed with the results. When I got there for the appointment they told me it was gonna be 2 hours before it was ready and let me tell you I didn't have to wait that long they were efficient and fast and were done in half the time. I know it may vary from car to car but I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone there was super friendly and that's key in the automotive industry. 10/10 because 5 stars isn't enough. I initially brought it in for a full front-end PPF package using XPEL Ultimate film--covering the hood, front bumper, fenders, headlights, and mirrors. I left it overnight, and when I picked it up the next day, I was blown away by the craftsmanship. It looked so good that I ended up coming back a few weeks later to get the front windshield tinted! What really blew me away, though, was Ji's follow-through. He asks you to bring the car back after a week so he can inspect the work, catch any tiny air bubbles, and make sure everything cured flawlessly. Awesome service, unbeatable work ethic, and a super smooth experience from start to finish. I can't recommend Ji and his crew enough!

7/14/25 - Honest Experience With a Quote…read more Before reading this, just know I tried my best to be transparent and respectful in this review. I was looking online for a place to install aftermarket taillights on my civic and came across this shop. Yelp AI actually recommended them to me, so I decided to stop by for a free estimate. I expected a fair quote for a relatively simple job--at most, removing some trunk paneling. To my surprise, they quoted me $190 for the installation. That felt excessive considering this is a pretty basic install that mainly involves unscrewing a few clips and bolts. I've done light car work before, and I knew this wasn't something highly technical or time-consuming. I mentioned that other places quoted me slightly over $100, and at that point, I figured I'd rather just do it myself. It felt like the difficulty of the job was being exaggerated, and the price didn't reflect the actual labor involved. To be clear, I'm not rating them 1 star because I didn't go through with the service, and I'm not trying to harm the business. This review is mostly to inform others to expect significantly higher pricing here, at least in my experience. Overpricing may vary shop to shop, but I think transparency and fairness in quotes is something customers value--especially when comparison shopping.
