This is the type of place that will try to rip you off if you are not careful. My insurance would not cover the full work that needed done. The first time I spoke with the office, the lady told me I would have to pay $200 out of pocket. I did not schedule an appointment right away as I had a busy month coming up. A few weeks later when I called to schedule, I spoke with the office manager and for the same thing she said I would have to pay $430 out of pocket instead of the $200. When I told her I was quoted $200 during a prior phone call, she opened up my file and saw the notes and said on. My thing is, how do go from $200 to $430 in a few weeks?!? I recently had four wisdom teeth removed and two bone grafts placed on the same day. The oral surgeon was great I did not feel a THING during the entire procedure. Additionally, I have not felt any pain or discomfort since my procedure!!! Strongly recommend this surgeon. He has magic hands The staff is also great from the receptionist that provided me answers to all my questions and let me know all my options. The assistants I encountered during my visit were also very nice and comforting . They all seem to enjoy what they are doing. I have been trying to make an appointment for my sister since last week. The receptionist takes my details and says she'll call me back and she doesn't. Today I was just sent to voicemail. Very unprofessional. I booked online now to see if they approve my appointment. I came here about a week and a half ago for a routine check up. Maria at the front dhelped answer all my questions. The dentist was friendly and thorough. She asked if I would like to change my fillings from silver to white (teeth colored), of course I asked if my insurance would cover them. I did have to pay a small copay. I got my teeth cleaned and was numbed in order to change my fillings and the whole process took about 2 hours and a half. My only concern is that the right two bottom teeth where the fillings were changed, are still very sensitive. I'm not sure if this is normal, but I wanted to give it some time before I go back in to the office and see if anything went wrong. read more

I made an appointment for a cleaning for a Monday, but they canceled it. I reschedule for 4 pm and show up ten minutes early. After waiting 25 minutes, I ask when they'd see me. They said they didn't have an available chair and that it'd be an additional thirty to forty minutes. Why book appointments that you cannot handle? They also did this to another regular patient, so they must overbook all the time. They completely made me waste my time and I won't be back. read more

Do not come here. The only thing that was good was the sweet Dentist. First of all, Marie, if she still works there, and hope karma got her and she doesn't. An absolute witch. She talks down to you, belittles you, and treats you like a child when trying to "educate" you on something dentistry-wise. I came her two years ago and have thought long, hard and I have a long memory and she deserves -5 stars. Also, Andi, their, receptionsit, very sophmoric. When I asked for a note for longer time off since they forgot the tooth root, which can cause cancer and other things, Andi said, " Just call out of your job...it is no big deal " By the way, it has been 2.5 years and my bottom right wisdom tooth NEVER HEALED! I still don't have all the sense and feeling that I used too. Also. They should have reffered me to an actual oral surgeon, not some guy, this tall Indian guy, that they have come sometimes to the office. He seems to have wanted to make a little extra money for something he clearly couldn't, shouldn't have done. Here I am 2.5 years later, it never healed, he left the tooth root in. I had to ask for the extra time off from my job to have the hole reopened to remove the tooth root. It was their fault and they still couldn't give me more time on paper. AMAZING DOCTOR & STAFF! A+++ experience! I have never before been able to say that I actually enjoyed going to the dentist. Today was my first time here and I am so excited that I was referred here. Dr. Flores is an absolute gem and she is so kind and very gentle. I had to be numbed for my fillings and I've never had such a comfortable experience, especially on a visit where you're needing to be numbed for your treatment. The staff is so friendly and helpful! I have a couple years bringing my daughter here.Thought they had good customer service and a good dentist.But I guess i was wrong.Two months ago, I brought my daughter to get four teeth removed. Unfortunately, they were only able to remove one tooth because my daughter was to scared. They ended up chipping her adult tooth next to the tooth they removed.They said they would call me to reschedule another appointment. To remove the remaining three teeth.Which they never did. Completely unhappy with my experience. I have been having pain with two of my teeth to which the dentist told me I needed to get root canals on both and that they would have to send me to a specialist because they couldn't do it there. They also told me I did not need medication for an infection and to just get over the counter ibuprofen. Today, I went to a new dentist to which she told me that there is no way the two teeth can be saved and that I would have wasted money receiving a root canal because my teeth would have broke. She also prescribed me medicine for my infection to which, again, the dentist at this center told me I did not need. To add, the nurse took my x rays multiple times because she seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing. Needless to say, I will never come back to this dentist again! read more

This is the worst experience I've had at the dentist. First problem I encounter, they told me my Son refused treatment and it want true. Things just keeps on happening. They are very disorganized. The dentist didn't introduced themselves. They didn't talk to me directly about my kids issues. They have the clerk tell me the diagnosis of my kids. It was noticeable that the dentist weren't very knowledgeable. I think it's because I'm Hispanic they treated me that way. The only reason I came here is because they were the only ones that had opening in summer time. I'm definitely going back to my dentist that I know to 25 years. I am so distraught, hurt, and disappointed to have to give such a low review for this office. First off, the dental work I received was great. The issue comes in with straight-up theft by someone at the office. I had an appointment around 10A on 2/13/2020 and by 7:30PM THE SAME DAY upwards of $400 was wracked up on my STOLEN CREDIT CARD. As I was getting my dental work done and laid there trusting the employees of this office, someone went into my purse and stole my credit card. I can't express how horrible this feels. How can someone do that to someone coming in to get assistance? Please be mindful of this if you choose to go to this office. Great work, not so great integrity of someone there. read more

Within the course of a week, I unfortunately had two crowns break on two separate back molars from a previous dentists work. When I called Downey Smile Center, they were able to get me in and out within the same day. Coming from a person who's had a lot of dental work, it's easy to say that this was the easiest and most efficient visit to a dental office I've ever experienced. The receptionist was very welcoming along with Dr. Flores and her assistant Maritza who made me feel a lot more comfortable by reassuring they would be able to fix my issues which they did quickly and with ease. The office staff is wonderful, it's a very nice looking office but the actual dentist is awful. After all my wait, filling out paperwork, more waiting, full mouth x-rays, more waiting... The actual dentist took two seconds, said he would refer me else where for a root canal for a tooth I already knew was needing attention but absolutely refused to look at or talk about any of my other concerns. I have two other big issues, broken fillings and I asked him questions. Nothing, he just left and went to the next patient. Said he would talk to me after I have the one tooth taken care of... Been here a couple times in the past with no problems HOWEVER now I'm having major problems getting the care I need now. Long story short: made an appointment for a cleaning, showed up and there was a construction crew in the building- they moved across town while their building was being fixed (with, of course, not telling me when I made the appointment), I get there thinking that everything is going to be ok. They take some xrays, dentist looks in my mouth maybe 20 seconds and tells me I need a deep cleaning. I've never needed one before, consider myself to have good dental hygiene, they say I can pay cash or wait to run it through insurance- I asked if I could just have my regular cleaning but THERE WAS NO DENTAL HYGIENIST- only a dental assistant who could polish my teeth. MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR A TEETH CLEANING and there is no hygienist, cisuddenly I have to come back in 4-6 weeks when the referral processes through the insurance. It seemed very shady. I get a letter about 3 weeks in from my insurance who declined the referral, saying that they see no medical need from my dental history for this procedure. I call them, they say they haven't heard from the insurance yet. It's been 8 weeks. I called them on Monday and left a message and they have not returned my call. Now, besides being off my cleaning schedule- which is inconvenient- I also need to search for a new dentist. Save yourself some time, go somewhere else. read more

I've had multiple visits at this location and each time has been wonderful. They are military friendly which was a huge plus for me. The doctor was very thorough during the exam and each visit after. She guided me through each process and actually gave options to me with pros and cons. The staff is very accommodating in the event the wait happens to be a little longer than expected. I have brought my children here for at least 2 years now. I love the staff here. They are not only kind and welcoming which always helps when you are going in nervous.
