Let me start off by saying that I have a meticulous personality and that Dr. Dang is so good that I fallowed him from Las Vegas to his now location in California just to have him to work on my teeth. I been seeing Dr Dang for 25years. I had so many cavities and root canals done and when I tell you I haven't had an issue with his work since and it's been 24 years it's amazing. He does the absolute best job and the cleanest work and the quality well it's so amazing I haven't had any issues with them yet after 24 year. 1st Time experience was horrible , my appointment was at 4pm. I Showed up 5 minutes early. Filled out the forms got called took some pictures off my teeth around 4:15 then had me wait for someone to take X-rays and waited almost and hour around 5 i got my x-rays taken and at that point i wasn't taken care of properly everything was rushed the x-rays were not done right kept retaking them. Around 5:30 they told me i would need to reschedule my appointment for a clean up another day Because the doctor wasn't available. I didn't want to reschedule because i don't have time I scheduled the appointment two weeks ahead and took the day off to get my teeth taken care of. Then i get my clean up done all in a rush and was out around 6pm. Later on to find out they close at 5. I was Honestly was so disappointed probably won't be coming back here. read more

Clean, affordable, and professional. Even though Villa Dental is about 45 min drive, its worth every visit. For the past 6 years, I've been trying to find a dentist (in my network) that was right for me. Finally I was referred over by a friend to Dr. Dang at Villa Dental. Since day one, every single person in the office has been very professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Never have I had any issues scheduling appointments and every single person that I have referred to come here absolutely falls in love with the place. I never have to wait more than five minutes when arriving to my scheduled appointment. I've received a thorough treatment plan (from fillings to deep cleaning) I've had experiences where the cleaning was extremely unpleasant, but this exceeded my expectations. Throughout the entire process Dr. Dang was very patient, clear on expectations, and always looked out for me if I had any discomfort or pain which I appreciate greatly. I went to this clinique and got my teeth checked. They suggested me to do a deep clean but I did not want go do it on that day. So I dediced to have a regular teeth cleaning. I was so disappointed that they did it the minimum. They only flossed and used the powder on my teeth. They didnt even take the tartar off. read more

This is the worse dental office ever! Please do not waste your time. I am someone who has always been afraid of going, I finally had the guts to start and I couldn't have picked a more horrible office to go to. They took 2 hours and half on my first visit for me just to be passed around going room to room before seeing the dentist The dentist never explains the work you need done, if you don't ask, you'll never know. On my first appointment, they took an hour just to take me back into the procedure room On my second visit, I saw a first timer also, she was called in way before I was. They made me wait 30 minutes before rescheduling me due to being way behind on patients I rescheduled, they called me a day before to reschedule again because the dentist had an "emergency" That's when I had enough and finally decided to switch offices. Best decision of my life. I now go to a professional who cares about their patients, and the most I wait before getting called in, is 5 minutes. I have nothing against the staff. Felt like my time was completely wasted. First time i came in i was told they didn't accept my insurance (even though it was on the list of in-network DDS) but the next time a few weeks later when i saw my PCP next door i came in just to ask again because i felt like their rejection was wrong...and it was! according to the other front office girl (she even tried guessing who told me that i had an HMO plan last time) so she gave me an appointment in 1 month which i showed up to today only for the same girl to say "we don't take your plan it's hmo" funny thing is she even said she remembered me and after asking me over and over if i had changed my plan or if i added another or whatever the same answer every time was "no i have the same plan i had when i made the appointment over 1 month ago" she did not apologize and instead printed a paper and highlighted a portion that said i supposedly had hmo dental (nope) mind you i made this appointment in conjunction with my other appointment next door so as to waste less time but instead i spent 40min talking on the phone to confirm that YES i do not have an hmo but a ppo :) so there i go back in and both girls in front ignored me for like 2 seconds and made those "oh here we go again" faces, i wrote down the ID code that the insurance person gave me over the phone to give to the front so that they could see and confirm that i in fact did have a ppo plan ...the girl didn't even look at the number she i guess just believed me now after i told her that i dowloaded the app to call the person, she asked if i could come in tomorrow "no i work which is why i made the appointment Monday because that's the only day I'm free" to which she started remarking multiple times "well if you can come tomorrow or Wednesday i have appointments" ??? Lol i was beyond frustrated, couldn't believe i even had to ask "so you can't accommodate me today? I came to my appointment" and she said "nope she's all booked and needs an hour right now" (it was 3pm by now when my appointment should have been at 2pm) so much of my planned time was wasted, idk what problem they've got going on in that front office that i was jangled back and forth like that not 1x but 3x AND for this?? I can only imagine how peeved and angry i would be if i had taken time off work for this appointment ....I've been trying for MONTHS to schedule an appointment with a dentist and tbh i knew this one wasn't going to be anything special but damn, i was so ready to knock this off my to-do list but now not only do i have to wait 1 WHOLE MONTH again to get seen here....tbh I'm sure the same thing is gonna happen so I'm going to try my luck somewhere else if i can get it faster. terrible read more

So happy I found Villa dental!! The front staff were great! Julianna helped me get seen same day. Julia the back assistant was very gentle and polite. The office manger Karla was very informative and had patience with all my questions and gave me my insurance break down. I even got my cavities filled by Dr.Sim. Dr.Dang showed me my scan and I will be getting my Invisalign. As I was not compliant and my teeth shifted .. totally my fault.. The hygienist Nadia was very gentle and my teeth are like new. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Dang. I live in Huntington Beach and he had performed an implant for me a few years back at a location in Garden Grove that he used to work out. His technique was flawless then and is still flawless now. My implant became loose and I went to my local dentist thinking it was the crowned tooth next to the implant. My local guy informed me it wasn't and recommended I go back to the original dentist as he would know the best techique to re-torque the tooth as each dentist has variations on installation. Sure enough Dr. Dang uses the "old school" method which is the best method in both dentists opinion. Basically he installs a cotton layer between the crown and the implant to protect the head of the screw in case the crown needs to be removed or drill, as in my case. This prevents the screw from being damaged during drilling as the cotton is an indicator that the dentist is close to the screw and to stop drilling deeper. Great method and forethought! The reason I am so happy with Dr. Dang is the implant is perfect and the injections he gave me to numb the area prior to performing the repair were painless. Yes, PAINLESS!!! He's one of the only Dentists to ever be able to make dental work truly painless for me. This is the reason I am willing to make the drive from OC to LA. I recently went to this dental office to get a procedure done and I was put under local anesthesia. My appointment was at 11 and he took over an hour on the upper right side of my mouth for fills. I check the time and it's 1 and he tells me he's finished and that he didn't have enough time to do the bottom half because they were going on lunch. Mind you he injected the bottom and top half with local anesthesia. Extremely unprofessional and very inconvenient. Not to mention it was painful. read more

I waited until I finished all 4 of my appointments before I wrote a review. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 6 years; it was time to handle my dental business. Brian is a great hygienist. He did my cleaning and made me feel comfortable and certainly didn't judge me for not getting my teeth cleaned for the better part of a decade. I had 7 cavities and went back on three different occasions to get each 'quadrant' of my mouth filled. Each time I was more and more relaxed. Dr. Pham worked quickly and efficiently. Angie, the receptionist breaks down the billing and makes sure you know exactly what you are paying for and what your insurance covers. Thanks Villa Dental!
