Silly me, read my DMV Renewal all wrong, so I'm a DUMBASS. That's what happens in this busy ass world. Back to work, here I come Disney Studios. All I can say is thumbs up for Oscar, honest guy. Went in today, no appointment, one car was being checked. Within 10 minutes the gentleman named Oscar came and got my keys to start checking my car. He was fast with my smog check, must have been less than 15 minutes. I passed, he already had sent the information directly to the D.M.V. and it was only 40.00 I will be back here and recommend this place to anyone who would ask me. read more

The smog check was fast and the guys were friendly and helpful. I recommend going to this place.

I called about an hour before they closed and the person on the phone told me I can come in. So when I got there he said "I have one car ahead of you" but once it came to the other person's turn, he put my car instead. I believe the other car had some sort of problem. Either way, when he pulled my car in he started working on fast and the quote he gave me over the phone was exactly the same as I got when I arrived. The shop is super clean and the the tech was super fast in doing the smog check. For being a Friday night the service was done rapidly and professionally. Found these dudes on yelp and came here because they're open on Sundays..... Whaaaaat!!! Yup, Sunday! So, I messaged them on yelp and got a response in 5 minutes. He quoted me over yelp. How cool is that? I drove in at 9:35am and was out by 10:05am. The dudes name is Oscar and he took care of me and my Trailblazer. Oscar was pretty cool based on first impressions. Service is fast but wait is a bit long if you come in late. Also the parking situation is weird. There's only like 4 spots, and you have to park when you're waiting for your turn. So when all spots are taken, people literally park behind your car and essentially block you from leaving. One guy even left his car behind mine when it was my turn to drive in for the smog check and he was nowhere to be seen. Had to wait an additional ten minutes for him. Turns out he went to get a snack somewhere but still, it's a bit inconvenient. Otherwise service is fast and workers are nice. read more

You know, it doesn't take much to provide great customer service and Downey Express Smog Check provides it in abundance. Not only did he go above and beyond trying to get the right adapter for my 1995 300ZX, he did it without a complaint or sign of frustration. Also, the price was cheaper (not by much, but every cent counts) than other businesses closer to my house. I got that dreaded letter from the DMV saying that it was that time of the year were I needed to do a SMOG Check! I remembered that I stopped by this location the last time I did the check and got a really good deal. So an hour before they were going to close, I stopped by and drove up to them on a weekday. I was immediately greeted by a nice gentleman named Oscar. I asked him that I wanted to do a smog check and asked him how much it would be. He said he would do it for $40 and that it would take him 15 minutes. He told me to sit down over at the waiting area they had and sure enough after 15 minutes he went over to get me. He took my payment and said that my vehicle passed the test and that everything is in the computer system. He was nice, friendly and worked on my vehicle quickly. I was in and out and on my way. Amazingly quick smog check and only cost me 40 bucks for my 2004 Jeep. Seriously it took all of 15 to 20 minutes to be up and running again.
