I stopped by to get x-rays and have my teeth exam and I was getting ready to hear a lot of bad news. Knowing that I had not visited the dentist in about 8 to 10 years I knew that there would be work that would be needed to be completed.. The dentist was very helpful with letting me know the severity of it, but at the same time showed optimism and made me feel comfortable. Not only are we looking into the repairment of my tooth but also he explained to me the things that would be needed to be done in order to restore my teeth. I had plaque built up and my gums were very swollen with numbers high as fives and six which is not great and he explained to me that it would take a few appointments of deep cleaning and laser treatment in order to restore them. The appointments that I've had with them have been painless, and they have always made me feel comfortable while visiting them. This really helped me overcome my fear of visiting in the dentist and I actually do look forward to seeing them for my next appointment. Thank you Downey family dental, Dr. Nguy and the rest of the team for not only making it a seamless and positive experience, but truly helping me get my teeth restored!

The dental assistants were so kind and caring while taking our X-rays. They were gentle, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable. Both of The Doctors ( Dr.Nguy & Dr.No) were absolutely wonderful! not only knowledgeable and professional, but also hilarious! There was a fun little rivalry between one being a proud alum of UCLA and the other from USC which made the visit even more enjoyable and hilarious . My husband had a root canal performed by Dr. Stephen Ferraro, and the experience was incredible. He was so comfortable during the procedure that he actually fell asleep! If you've ever been nervous about getting a root canal, this should tell you everything you need to know about Dr. Ferraro's skill and gentle approach. The reason I'm writing this review today, though, is because we received a check in the mail for an overpayment we had made. They could have easily kept the money, and we never would have known the difference. Instead, Dr. Ferraro and his staff took the time to identify the overpayment and proactively mail us a refund. In a world where honesty and integrity can be hard to find, that level of ethics speaks volumes. Not only did we receive exceptional dental care, but we were also treated with kindness, professionalism, and complete honesty from everyone in the office. Instead, I was told I had to pay $265 for a 3D CBCT scan not covered by insurance. They did not disclose this fee before I arrived. I told them I could not afford it and pleaded for help with my pain. The doctor did not even introduce himself and immediately jumped into a sales pitch for a consultation. After all of that, they told me I would have to wait over an hour because the doctor was working on other patients. They offered me absolutely nothing to help ease my pain while I waited. They just wasted my time. I should have gone straight to the emergency room instead of coming here.

I went in a few months ago to do…read morethe in office dental whitening of researching various of offices I chose to come here because I have in the prior years gotten work done with Dr.Vasa and he is absolutely amazing with dental work! However, I was extremely dissatisfied with my whitening. First off the girl who did the work on me was not very friendly. I even heard her being pretty rude to the front office girl when asking her a question. My teeth were pretty stained and they did lift maybe a half shade lighter. I did the at home remedies for 2 weeks just as instructed and it did not change anything. My total cost for the treatment was $450.
