Final Review Today…read morewas my final appointment with this dental office. Overall, the experience was okay, but I was not completely satisfied with the results. I feel I had to compromise on the bridge's appearance, speech, and overall comfort. My concerns are reflected in the pictures and previous reviews documenting my experience. Based on that experience, I would not recommend getting a bridge without carefully considering the potential compromises and thoroughly discussing your expectations with your dentist. Thank you to the staff for their time and care.

I had to extract (2) of my teeth and I was so afraid to get numb by the needle, let me just say I FELT NOTHING. Adding on I felt nothing when he took both teeth out as well. His team was so helpful. I would not recommend this dental office…read more I was a patient here since last year. I wanted to see one of their specialists. I scheduled an appointment, only to find out when I arrived that the specialist only comes in once a month and that nobody had actually scheduled me for the specialist's day. It was a complete waste of my time. I initially took advantage of their promotional offer for X-rays and a partial deep cleaning. After that, I felt like the focus immediately shifted to selling me a much more expensive full-mouth treatment plan. When I wasn't interested in moving forward with the additional services, the staff's attitude seemed to change. The deep cleaning I did receive felt rushed and incomplete, as if the provider just wanted to get it over with. Another major concern was privacy. The office is so open and loud that I could hear staff discussing other patients' dental conditions, including details about gum recession and treatment plans. Patients should not be able to overhear information that should remain private. I was also quoted a very high price for a laser-assisted deep cleaning. Later, I overheard staff discussing different pricing for what sounded like the same treatment with other patients. When I questioned it, I was suddenly offered a "deal," which made me wonder how consistent and transparent their pricing really is. When I returned for treatment, my blood pressure was taken with an automatic machine that consistently reads higher than manual measurements. Because of the reading, I had to come back another day. Only after advocating for myself was a manual blood pressure check performed. The specialist I saw also seemed dismissive of my concerns. I left feeling like I was simply being told information I could have found online rather than receiving meaningful guidance specific to my situation. The biggest issue, however, involved an infected tooth that needed a root canal. I was quoted nearly $3,000 for the procedure, which I simply could not afford. I decided I would move forward with an extraction instead. When I called to schedule it, I was quoted over $2,000 because the doctor wanted to preserve the area for a future implant. If I couldn't afford the root canal, why would anyone assume I could afford a $2,000+ extraction? After explaining my financial situation, it felt like the conversation quickly became, "Well, okay then, goodbye." No one took the time to explain more affordable options or discuss a basic extraction as a last resort. For a practice that claims to work with patients, I felt pushed aside the moment I couldn't agree to the more expensive treatment plans. I understand that dental care in the U.S. is expensive, but this office felt more focused on sales than patient care. Between the inconsistent pricing, lack of privacy, aggressive upselling, and dismissive attitude toward financial concerns, my overall experience was disappointing. The one bright spot was Kayla at the front desk, who was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my visits. There are plenty of excellent dentists in the area. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This location has a problem with how they prioritize time and patients. This is the second and…read morefinal time I will deal with them. I was scheduled for a dental cleaning. One hour later I'm still sitting on the chair, whilst the person who arrived way past me, same appt time as me, got seen and had their work begin sooner mine. Mind you, all I needed was a cleaning, which btw can be completed by a dental assistant. Whole I understand that a dentist wants to discuss your X-rays, it would be great if the assistant can get started on my cleaning. But no, the answer, same as last time, we are short staffed. Ok, then prioritize the patient who arrived first and has the least work and get them out of there. Or better yet, call me and reschedule me since this was a problem before. I find this place ridiculous and they will not see my business again. Oh, and yes, I will check with my insurance and be sure they didn't charge them my cleaning which did not get done. Trash location, trash personnel that are sitting there talking about coffee instead of worrying about patients.

I walked out today feeling very angry. a little over 6 weeks…read moreago, I came in for an exam and was told I needed a root canal. I went and got the root canal done that same week. On the same day ( in pain and numb) I came back to this dentist to get my x-rays taken so a authorization could be sent out for a crown. I was told that they will send the authorization out that same day. 6 WEEKS AGO. I called every week to ask if there was any update or approval for my crown ( it is best to get a crown put on no later than 4 weeks, you can damage your tooth because it's very fragile) Which will result in a "failed root canal".) I was told that everything was sent off and they haven't heard anything back. I started to get swollen lymph nodes on the side of my neck where the root canal was done. So I got fed up and called Denti-cal. The representative easily looked up my records with my id number, and she told me there was no authorization form sent. She was able to pull up a approval for my root canal ( which I had done 6 weeks ago) but not for my crown. I was in shock. I called several times and was told that I needed to wait for an approval. Each time I expressed that it's been a while and I was becoming worried & she assured me the TAR (treatment authorization form) was sent off. I went in today and asked her face to face if she sent it off electronically before I told her I called DENTI-CAL and was told clear as day that no TAR was sent. She said she probably had to " re submit it" which will take another 3 weeks. I told her just don't even do it, its clear it was never done in the first place. ________________ I understand receptionist work can become overwhelming; the office is extremely crowded, and I only see one dentist there, but straight up lying to a patient in need is very disrespectful and evil. Was it my race? was it my sex? was it because she was tired? or angry about a personal situation? how long was she going to lie and say she sent it ? I'm so disappointed in western dental and the receptionist. I will not recommend or return. the actual dentist was good ( a lady of Asian descent ) not sure of her name ...but front office (scheduling, paperwork, insurance business) is a NO. im warning you ,don't come here. I promise you'll regret it.

I previously had an HMO provider, and while the service was fine, the experience here is on a completely different level. There's something special about supporting a "mom-and-pop" practice.
