I wasn't at all thrilled with the one recommendation I received, so I came to Yelp and was not disappointed! I was hoping for a highly rated dentist in walking distance, and Tower Dental seemed to check all my boxes. Online registration, quick and friendly staff, clean modern facility (it's a lot bigger than it looks from the street!) with the latest technology - all good starts. But the proof is in their actual performance, and there they SHINE! Anna was my hygienist, and she was the most efficient and gentle I have ever had. Ever. Due to circumstances, I had gone over a year since my last checkup and cleaning, so I knew there would be extra work for her and likely a bit extra "trouble" for me... OMG yes, it took longer than usual, but she took great care of me. Dr. Kats joined us when all that was complete and I was happy to hear that my good dental health continues. Dr. Kats is a warm and professional dentist whom I would recommend even based on our short acquaintance, but his overall practice receives my immediate and unconditional endorsement! And, you can go right across the street after your appointment for a great pizza at Angelo's :-).

I would like to start by stating that I am happy that I decided to have dental implants done at…read moreClearchoice. The services that I received were great until I encountered a problem. I understand that not all procedures go according to plan but I had unusual circumstances where I had a lot of facial swelling that took 4 to 6 weeks for the swelling to go down. After the swelling went down I still had tenderness in my top gums and although I thought it could just be still in the healing phase because it was an extensive procedure. I spoke with the Surgeon Dr. Nicholas Zawada whom was a Gem, he was very attentive to my needs following the procedure and the pain that I continued to have. I went to see him and he suggested I see a neurologist because I continued to have tenderness at the top of my mouth. Upon me having another appointment to follow-up with the Prosthodonist Dr. Diana Cuesta I made her aware of the situation that had been going on for a few months now. When they removed the implants to see how the surgery had gone I was in a lot of pain because again there was still tenderness after 4 months which was unusual and I started to moan because of the pain. I was really disappointed with the reaction of Dr. Cuesta because I have been in healthcare for over 30 years and the way I was treated after expressing I was in pain was unacceptable. I considered having the final portion of my procedure done elsewhere because I didn't like that she raised her voice out of dismay from the reaction of me stressing I was in pain. She rudely stated that "she can not work under these circumstances" and asked the person that was assisting her to numb my mouth. I felt as if my pain wasn't important to her and come to find out when they removed the implants my mouth was bleeding and they realized that the top screws in the upper part of my mouth were lodged too deep into my gums and this is what was causing the pain. I'm not stating that it was anyone's fault that this happened but what I do know is I wasn't treated like a patient should be treated when they are clearly in pain. I have put off having the second part of my procedure done because I am traumatized when it comes to having dental work done after all of the pain I endured. I spoke with Bri who works at Clearchoice and explained the situation to her and she informed me that I could have another physician from the company to complete the final stage of my dental work. Again, I love that I had the work done but I was not happy with the treatment that I received after expressing the pain I was in. Felicia Brown

The office is located in a brick house but once inside it surely doesn't look like a house. Patient areas are clean, bright, and have quite comfortable patient chairs. Most every patient room has a window and the warmth of the outside eases the nervous feeling many people have while at a dentist. The hygienist we have most often is Meg. She remembers her patients and does a good job with cleanings, X-rays, and finding any issues. The "creature comforts" include a coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine, a video game system and small children's wooden train table in the kids waiting room, and on many days there is a massage therapist that can massage legs, feet, hands, and arms while you are having your dental cleaning or procedures done. After your dental appointment the massage therapist can offer a short back massage to ease you back in to your day. Great free services for the patients! Parking is never a problem and covers a large portion of what was the original homes front yard. Seasonal decorations are simple but very well done. We plan on returning here for the years to come even though we don't live nearby. It's worth the trip.

Busy and understaffed like most businesses these days, But at least I got a call back. I went for an initial consultation. No one but me in the waiting room, and they were still 15 minutes late calling me in. I was pleased by the new X-ray machine that just circles your head. The dentist came in and told me just what another told me - I need three teeth extracted, bone grafts and implants. The "office manager" offered me pricing which was fair. Then, even before I got home, I was texted by him to put up a review! (I must have appeared happy when I left.) My response was, "I will, AFTER the work is done." No reply from him. One of my teeth are broken at the gum line with the one next to it infected and painful. I called yesterday morning to set an appointment to get the work done, and left a voice mail. They still haven't called me back, three days later. THIS is how that office is "managed"? This concerns me greatly, as what if there is a serious issue after the surgery and I am in great pain? Call them? Why? No one calls back? I feel I'd be on my own. They don't do sedative dentistry, however, the DENTIST in this location has many five star reviews... but the business only has one review. I think I'll keep looking around to get this done. This office does not seem managed well nor do they want the business, which after all is said and done, it IS just that - a business. I recently retired from almost 50 years in Senior Sales Management, and this is NOT how to treat customers if you want to grow a business that already has the Fear Factor for most patients/clients. Not calling someone back in a business setting is inexcusable in my book. Total amateur hour. I'll keep looking for someone who will do the work - professionally! UPDATE: 12/5/2024 - Office Manager Layton only called me back (3 1/2 days later) after seeing this negative review! NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY, but rather a request to "call him back to go over a few things". I see from other posts that they wouldn't see someone's mom again unless THEY took down a negative post. Unscrupulous business ethics - It's too bad, because people really seem to love Dr. Ibrahim and his work. Glad I learned all this before trusting my health to a corporate dental practice. My sensitive teeth/gums, make it important to have a dentist trained in Anesthesiology that cares to ensure I have no pain whatsoever! If you are anxious about dental work like I am, know that everyone is very reassuring and calm. They offer safe Nitrous Oxide aka "laughing gas" or Oral Sedation & IV Sedation. The waiting lobby area has very comfortable chairs and fancy decor with many books and magazines. The dental rooms are clean and theme decorated; butterfly room, ocean room, bird room. As kids, we watched movies during our dental treatments, it was a great distraction and a wooden treasure chest full of toy prizes that we got to pick from as kids! I had a cleaning, cavity and crown recently done. The anesthetic is a little pinch on your cheek and Dr. P Jr. talks to you through it so you do not notice! I always close my eyes and want to be distracted since I am scared of needles! I have never even felt the needle here as they are super thin, like the ones for acupuncture, so just a little pinch and I'm 100% numb while my mouth is beautified :-) pain free! Dentists clearly communicate with dental assistants/staff, always check comfort levels throughout the appointment, and thoughtfully ask questions about how everything feels to make sure the experience is pain free during and after the dental appointment. I trust P&P DDS as they are a licensed referral dentist for sensitive individuals; those with hyperactive gag reflex, fear and anxiety, toothache treatment, TMJ headache, dental implants and offer cosmetic dentistry. It is a one stop dentist shop as they can help with everything. Our family is blessed to have found a trusted and experienced dentist. The friendly staff knows what is happening in our lives and book appointments around our busy schedules. For example - I started to have jaw pain during wedding planning, the staff were able to schedule me before a dress fitting. At the appointment Dr. P Jr. discovered I clenched my teeth at night! P&P DDS told me about mouth guards to sleep with when I felt more stressed and even scheduled teeth whitening for a bright wedding day smile. Now, I have no jaw pain and sleep much better! Even though I live in Chicago it is well worth the drive out of the city to see a great dentist! Our family highly recommends Provenzale & Provenzale, DDS! :-)
