I was told I needed a crown on a tooth that was not bothering me. After the procedure, the crown never fit properly. I returned multiple times for adjustments and was eventually told the discomfort was due to my tooth having a "high pulp" and that I would just need to live with the pain. The issue persisted for nearly a year. I experienced ongoing sensitivity and eventually noticed a strong odor and taste from under the crown. I sought care elsewhere. After visits with multiple dentists, a root canal, and the crown ultimately falling out, a new dentist confirmed decay beneath the crown. It was cleaned out and the crown was properly reset and adjusted. It has taken three additional dentists to address what began as a routine crown. I regret not seeking a second opinion sooner and hope this helps others make informed decisions about their care.

Yes, that was an issue that needed to be dealt with but that was NOT the tooth my dentist had wanted done first. Consequently I still have to go back and have the original tooth worked on. The really strange part was yesterday I received a check from this facility that was 2/3 of my original co-pay. I have no idea if the insurance they quoted me was incorrect or this is money back for the "extra" tooth work. Bottom line, communication is not a strong point.

The hubby & I both work in the city so, although we are now "suburbanites", we were iffy about trading in our usual dentist with Saturday hours for Dr. Ann & the Tower Dental staff. Well we gave them a shot... AND WE WILL BE BACK :) Dr. Ann & staff were AMAZING! They fit us both in at the same time so we had a 'kill two birds with one stone' / double date night Dental visit. I had Dr. Ann for my cleaning. She was attentive, personable, and genuinely cared about my well being. I loved the fact that her office offers a dental plan for uninsured patients, which I had yet to see in other dental offices.
