Heavily delayed much needed dental work. Switched to dentist in Naperville (who is wonderful) and made Fairview very aware of this when I cancelled my upcoming cleaning with them. Since then, Fairview has sent in multiple pre estimates for my husband and sent one for me for a procedure I never even agreed to do. Dr. Dominguez did call me back today and when he didn't like what I had to say about the offices financial department, he hung up the phone on me. Seems suspicious. But at least he called me back this time. Wish I had avoided them all together.

I wasn't at all thrilled with the one recommendation I received, so I came to Yelp and was not disappointed! I was hoping for a highly rated dentist in walking distance, and Tower Dental seemed to check all my boxes. Online registration, quick and friendly staff, clean modern facility (it's a lot bigger than it looks from the street!) with the latest technology - all good starts. But the proof is in their actual performance, and there they SHINE! Anna was my hygienist, and she was the most efficient and gentle I have ever had. Ever. Due to circumstances, I had gone over a year since my last checkup and cleaning, so I knew there would be extra work for her and likely a bit extra "trouble" for me... OMG yes, it took longer than usual, but she took great care of me. Dr. Kats joined us when all that was complete and I was happy to hear that my good dental health continues. Dr. Kats is a warm and professional dentist whom I would recommend even based on our short acquaintance, but his overall practice receives my immediate and unconditional endorsement! I was very surprised to find that a 20+ years old filling fell out while flossing on a Saturday night. I felt the small hole in my tooth and immediately started to panic. I had this fear that the entire tooth would fall out and quickly turned to Yelp to find any dentist in the area that would be open on a Sunday. That was when I came across positive reviews for Dr. Baek at Healthy Smile Dental. Their operational hours listed was 9:00AM-3:00 on Sundays so I called at 9:01 pleading to seen. The receptionist was very kind and was able to fit me in at 10:30AM so I quickly rushed over there. They had me seated and took x-rays to show if there was any nerve damage. Dr Baek explained that there was a possibility of another filling falling out since the tooth wasn't as strong from prior fillings and the tooth next to it had a small fracture in a filling. Rather than just patching the problem up temporarily, she gave me a permanent solution that would still save my teeth from potential nerve damage and having to get a root canal down the road. She discussed getting a temporary crown and the process. Throughout the procedure she made sure to check on me and we made a follow up appointment for 3 weeks to complete the procedure. So grateful for a knowledgeable dentist that is open on Sundays!

Around 2021 or 2022, I came to this dentist office. It was my first time seeing a dentist in over…read more4 years. my dentist in my home town in New York accidentally cut a portion of my tongue off and I've been deathly afraid of dentists since. My first time at this office I sat there and cried as a 23 year old woman explaining my story. I was scared. I was embarrassed. During my appointment the dentist told me that it doesn't matter how much makeup I wear, how I do my hair, that people will always judge me for my teeth and oral health. ( yes true ) That made me very insecure and upset. I literally sat in his chair and cried for like 10 minutes if not more. And that's your response? To the point I again, I didn't go to a dentist for a number of years. ( until a week ago ) Yes my oral health suffered over those 4 or 5 years because I was truly scarred from my dentist visit in New York. But being told that my overall appearance won't matter to people because my oral health is so bad was not the way to say what he needed to say. I found it very damaging and way out of line. It made me insecure to the point I didn't wear any makeup or nice clothes to my most recent dentist appointment at a different new office here in Westchester. The new office was very welcoming, understanding and extremely nice and VERY EMPATHETIC to what I had been through with my last two different dentist appointments. I honestly do not recommend this office. It made me embarrassed and scared to enter another dentist office for almost another 4 years. That's almost a whole decade without dental care because of mishandling by two different dentists for different reasons. Your doctors are there to support you, be honest, empathetic, and uplift you. Not put you down in the process of your care.
