Dr. Basciano was recommended by a few local moms for this reason. Making an appointment was easy. They also sent the paperwork via email, which was convenient to fill out at home prior to the appointment, vs. trying to do so while wrangling my toddler in a waiting room. The staff was welcoming and kind. Dr. Basciano herself was very kind towards both me and my son. I had no idea until we got into the exam room that Dr. Basciano doesn't see pediatric patients, but she still examined my son and talked with me at length about dental care, trauma to the teeth, future treatments, etc. My son was NOT happy to be examined, and she and her staff went out of their way to try and placate him - she literally sorted through a stack of ~100 stickers to find an animal close to the tigers that he likes so much! (A lion was a great choice!) She also gave him a tooth brush. I appreciate that, even though she couldn't take us on as patients at this time, that she treated us warmly and educated me on pertinent dental-related information. Further, she also stated that I could call her with questions if any arose!! I intend to come back in a few years when my son is older. My personal experience with him has left a horrible taste in my mouth (excuse the pun). I have bad teeth. He made a permanent bridge for my top teeth. For the front bottom 4 he made a denture. I tried for months to get used to it and just could not. I hated it. So, I asked for the same type of permanent bridge on the bottom. It's very embarrassing to not have my front 4 bottom teeth, and my job involves visiting multiple people every day. He told me he could do it and would fight to have it done with the insurance. I had even applied for the credit I would need to get it done. (It was not cheap) Next thing I know it's been denied by insurance. I come to find out after many calls and attempts to appeal that this cowardly lying SOB told the insurance he couldn't recommend it. While still telling me he would fight to get it done. Obviously, we have left the guy and would recommend you go see someone else. I am sure he is fine for cleanings, but so is a dental hygienist. If you need more than that or a fluoride treatment, go to a better skilled and less cowardly dentist.

She called around and Dr. Wostl was in her network and was able to get in and see him right away. She came home raving avout the service to the extent that I felt as though I would be providing them a disservice by not writing this review. They greeted her at the door, not even allowing her to sit down first. The staff is very upbeat. The team cohesiveness is outstanding likely due to the many years they have worked together. Dr. Wostl explained to her in detail everything about her cracked tooth and thoroughly explained her options. Today she is feeling much better thanks to Dr. Wostl and his staff. She even decided to make him her new dentist even though she lives an hour and a half away.

They could not get the shape or shade of my implant correct to match my other front tooth. I have had to drive to Arlington Heights twice for a Color match- those goes 2 hours of my time, each time. Two times they had to drill off the implant to put a new one in. This is the 4th time going back to have this "fixed" and the implant color STILL doesn't match my color of my other teeth and now my tooth next to it is longer than the implant I get it it's my front tooth it's hard to match to the other front but when I suggested crowing the one next to it to match the doctor said no. I was also told that due to "my case" they will no longer do front crowns without doing 2 or 4 of the front. They also made me sign a waiver. Way to make me feel like shit for something they should have done right the first time. Have they been accommodating in trying to fix it each time- yes- but this has been a joke trying to get it fixed.
