So when a cracked tooth called for an extraction and implant I needed to have the best and I found the best in Dr. Denemark for this procedure. Dr. Denemark and his team of professionals made an 1hr long procedure feel like 30 minutes and with no pain during or post surgery. I highly recommend the product he recommended called "Nu Calm". To be brief, you are asked to chew a few tablets, then a set of Bose headphones are placed on your head and classical music is played; within minutes you are in a calm and meditated state during the surgery and will feel no pain during or post surgery. I truly am surprised that more Dentists are not using Nu Calm. I would also like to recommend Dr. Michael Morgan of Hinsdale (Smiles by Morgan). Great guy and a great dentist. I called a multitude of dentists for an emergency appointment. They either had no availability until weeks later, were out of network, did not take any insurance, or were in vacation. Even my former dentist of 20 years, Darien Dental, did not even give me a call back! The only dentist who was on vacation, but had an extremely helpful receptionist was Dr. Ryan. This lady recommended that I try Grove Dental. I did call Grove, got an immediate appointment and am scheduled for an extraction. I am so far, very happy with Grove, however, should that feeling change, I know that I will be seeing Dr. Ryan. If he is as good as his receptionist (gosh, I wish I had gotten her name), I will be in great hands!

I have found a new home with Dr. Anas Najjar (Ortho) and Dr. Ahmad Najjar (Dentistry). They both completely changed my mind about the care I was receiving. I have completely switched over to be under their care, and now drive less than 20 minutes to my appointments. They both are incredible at their craft, care about their patients, and have great personalities. I have come in panicked about small issues, and they never cease to calm me down and make whatever I was worried about perfect. They work in tandem with and recommend fantastic specialists - ie: periodontist. Everyone from the front desk staff to the assistants are all welcoming, kind, and professional. After examination for a very minor job they wanted $675.00 for a task which is just to tighten the screw back in to a position. This task will take hardly 15 to 20 minutes. There is no new material or screws required, just to screw back they wanted $675, could which are already existing. This is an outrageous charge, The whole implant procedure for me in India cost was less than this. I tried to negotiate and they came down to $450 for a 20 minutes service without any cost of material. I walked out and did not take the service. The dental cost is outrageous in US and not sure how seniors who live in limited Social security income could afford the dental care. I understand Medicare is not providing any Dental care and the American dental association is lobbying against dental care by Medicare.

My new dentist did a very poor job addressing my problems. My new fillings are rough to the touch and sharper than my chipped tooth was previously. One of the main reasons I went was not addressed and the tooth next to it was drilled instead. On top of that the dental hygienist used a slew of terms that are not even dental terms to describe my teeth telling me they would fall out by the time I was an age I pretty much already am. I have considerable dental work and this is by far the worst I've gotten. Probably will find someone else to redo the work I had done. Honestly atrocious experience, I do not recommend at all and will be changing dentists.
