I've had good experience with Dovi Sales and bought two new trucks from them over the years. However, their Service group is just awful to work with. I dread having to deal with them for warranty repairs. They behave as if they are annoyed when having to talk with customers. Amazing that this has not been addressed by now - but I've had this experience for several years now. I found a new truck i wanted, it was sitting at a dealership 60 miles away. Dovi didn't have anything on their lot that was even close. I wanted to give them the opportunity to do a dealer locate, so i could buy it from them. When I asked the unshaven, tshirt wearing, salesman/owner if he could do it, there was no mistaking that he was put out. He never once smiled, or introduced himself and wasn't remotely anything, that resembled friendly. Life is too short to try and win over grumpy salespeople, customer service is a dying art. I excused myself and told him that i thought we got off on the wrong foot. He chased me down as i was walking to my car. For a second, I had hopes he was going to say, "Hey, lets try again, my name is so and so and i'd like to earn your business." I would have said, "Great!" Nope, he came out to tell me that he hoped I "have fun driving to the other dealer for service." Had he not chased me out to be extra spiteful, i wouldn't have written this review. I don't know what would happen if i brought my new truck to Dovi for service, but i'm not going to find out. Maybe we caught eachother on a bad day, but business 101, don't antagonize a potential customer (or reviewer) Honestly haven't experienced anything like it. The dealer that i bought the truck from, was excellent, their staff was friendly and professional. Happy to make the hour drive, I'm retired! TERRIBLE SERVICE I took my 2011 Ford Edge (purchased new from Dovi) over to Dovi's in July 2014 for ABS service and was told I needed a tire speed sensor, but that I would need to bring the car back to have it installed. So, later, I called to schedule service on that Tire Sensor 2 weeks prior to the appointment and dropped my car off for the work. Around noon I called to see if my car was ready and was told no, they had a busy morning and they would call me in the afternoon when it was ready. Guess what...NO CALL! By the time I called again, they were closed. The next morning I called and was told they didn't have the part my car needed and they couldn't get one! Why wasn't I told this when I booked my appointment?! They had already taken my car for a day and I was charged the diagnostics prior to ever booking this appointment. We all know the inconvenience we face when our car needs to go to the shop...arranging transportation to and from the shop then figuring out how to get to and from work and do all the things we need to do when our car is indisposed. This does not seem to bother the folks at Dovi. You are just another number to them. read more

I traveled 216 miles from NYC to buy my dream car from Dovi Motors today Dovi Motors had my dream car: Ford Fiesta S Hatchback White Automatic already produced stocked in its inventory (they have a great taste for car customizations), and the price of the car was $778.76 cheaper (including registration & tax) than purchasing it from Koeppel Ford or any other dealerships around Manhattan. Car was brand new and was in a ideal shape; I was so happy when I saw my car for the first time in such a perfect condition with only 8 miles on it. Jesse and his cousin were extremely nice, and Jesse kindly and professionally explained every question I had for the car features, maintaining the car, and other general questions. Jesse and I talked for over an hour, and I learned so much from him because I am buying my first car and I am going to be moving to California with this car (complicate things). Even before we met, we exchanged phone calls and Emails so they can let me take the car right away when I came in person. Jesse was extremely nice, gave me an ideal new car, did all the paper work for me, and gave me the cheapest price for the car upfront (I didn't even have to negotiate at all because no other dealership could beat this price which was $778.76 cheaper). I woke up 4am today and took a greyhound bus to Cortland, NY from NYC (216+ miles) and brought my car to my home, and every single second of today was so worth it and I cannot be more happy with my purchase. It is definitely worth buying cars from Jesse here than buying it else where from other dealerships.
