When we wanted to move to Dallas/Forth Worth area, I searched for apartments with the best ratings…read moreand The Arbors of Euless was among the better rated. However, to actually find photos that accurately represent the apartment was a different story. I paid the deposit and we moved here without seeing the place which you should NEVER do(we lived in Colorado and therefore, didn't have a chance to, so that's our problem).
This apartment complex is a lot older and the maintenance guys have done their part is keeping it up, there have been upgrades also. It is a quieter place, of course there are occasional children running through the breeze ways and it echoes throughout the building. Our apartment, in particular, was/is a magnet for those nasty pigeons and they left their poop all over our balcony! I couldn't even let my baby walk around out there because she wanted to eat it. This is no fault of the complex, just wanted to give warning and the problem can be remedied by bird netting which you will have to install for yourself as the complex doesn't do this. We also bought balcony carpet so we could let the baby enjoy the outdoors, so up front you might have to spend money on this issue. One last comment on the balcony, it's NOT baby-proof, as your child CAN fall between and under the posts as it isn't one consecutive wall, just iron posts. I will post pictures so everyone knows before hand.
We have the "classic interior" and the bar is BEHIND the front door, which will hit the bar if you aren't careful. Apparently, there is a switch that looks like a light switch that operates one of the outlets that the tv plugs into. We didn't know this, thinking it went to the fan, so we thought the outlet was broken. Like I said, old apartment.
Our apartment has been upgraded with new carpet, appliances, refinished cabinets(the inside of the cabinets are OLD and sunken in), and dark plank wood-type floors in the bathrooms and kitchen. There has been new paint put on the walls; however, the doors have been repainted so many times in our apartment that it is peeling off around the doorknobs and sticks when you close the door so when you open it, the paint comes off. The shower spout is way low, so we had to buy a new shower head to "raise" the stream to where weren't having the bend down to shower, again old. The master bathroom door has to be closed to use that toilet because the toilet is right behind the door. The closets have metal beam-looking polls for hanging clothes which isn't very efficient, again old.
So there you have it. Nice apartment, good neighborhood, good schools, close to grocery stores/shopping, parks and hwy 360, just OLD. I'll post pictures.
