Good service. Employees were very attentive. Cons: 1.) Cocktail sauce. We love a spicy cocktail sauce, and the "spicy" one they recommended was hardly spicy at all. I've been to the…read moreWaterfront Seafood Shack a few times since I discovered it on my annual Thanksgiving beach trip a few years ago. I absolutely love this place and is one of my favorite places to stop before I head to Myrtle Beach. It's located in Calabash, NC so it's like 10 minutes before you get to the SC boarder. It might be shorter than that. But anyway, I love coming here obviously the food is fresh and fantastic. They have plenty of outdoor seating and it's always nice and clean. The staff is wonderful. I love that every time I've come, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. Everything that I've tried has been great. And they have lots of options. Check out my pics and I'm a creature of habit so I got the same thing but one thing I did try was the Wahoo fish. It was perfect and I'd never had it before. I can see this easily being a fan favorite. And lastly the dessert. I highly recommend getting the fried pound cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's heavenly. Although, not pictured, they have a great pumpkin pie. Follow their Instagram for updates because they do close down I want to say the Thanksgiving day up until Spring so about March or April. It's a good time and you won't be disappointed. Check them out if you are in the area.
