I wish I could give Doug one million stars; he literally saved my life; I nearly bought a serious violation property with termites that already existed. Before I was going to sign the contract, I told my agent I was going to hire a professional termite inspector to come to the property again, she responded fiercely and rejected me, saying that I could inspect the termite after signing the contract. At that point, I told the agent I need to check it again before signing the contract, otherwise I wouldn't buy this house. Finally, my agent agreed to let me do the termite inspection. I'm the first-time buyer, I felt that both the selling and listing agent were pushing me to sign the contract ASAP. I hired Doug one month ago b/c I was desperately in need of help. My now 9 year old son has been waking up every spring & summer for years covered in bug bites. Doug came out and helped us deal with multiple rodent issues. He is very responsive and comes out quickly. (Super important when you have small children and are freaked out!!) He found the point of entry, described how to fix the problem, answered my zillion questions, and came back the next day to fill holes (we waited a day so that hopefully the rats would exit the hole after they were exposed to the powder and not die in the walls), and talked about what to do to prevent the problem in the future.
