The restaurant sometime gets busy do to the business they from the Amazon facility just a block away and other businesses. This is my first time at Douglas but my wife have been there many time with her parents. We've there getting breakfast,we're looking the menu then decided order breakfast burrito for the both of us I decided ham in my breakfast burrito and my wife order the breakfast burrito with bacon. Beautiful mom and pop spot. Customer service given by Brenda was awesome. I felt very welcomed. Prices are very reasonable. The inside gives off this impression that they have been around for a while and like to keep up with tradition and people, keeping up with dates that mean a lot to them. I'm always looking for a new place to eat. So I got some Yelp finding Douglas Drive-In and after looking at the pics of the chicken salad with avocado, I had my heart set. This is not normal by the way... I am not a salad or soup type of person, but I have my moods I guess. I called in the order and they said it would take 20 minutes. I got there in 15 and had to wait another 15 minutes. I got the salad, went to my office and found that they seriously make one of the best chicken salads I've ever eaten! The chicken was delicious and tender. The dressing was so good. I'll be coming back here when I have my next healthy food craving. You wonder why 4 stars instead of 5? Well being that they said 20 minutes when it took 30... its not cool. I'm personally not under a specific time frame, but if I had a 30 minute lunch like most people, I would be pissed if 10 minutes of it was taken up by me just sitting there and waiting. I've worked across the street for two years now but have never been to the Douglas Drive-In. (There is no drive-thru, FYI). I ordered a cheeseburger with avocado, fries, and a drink. That cheeseburger was so HUGE! When I opened the bag and the wrapper, I was pleasantly surprised by the size. The burger had a good flavor and sauce. YUM! The fries are thicker cut, which I'm not a fan of, but these were actually pretty decent! I like that they were super fresh out the fryer and the outer layer was crispy. I am a fan of crispy fries, so I'd like these fries to be a bit crispier, but they were still good. They had other food that looked good, like the nachos and chicken salad. I'll have to stop bringing my lunch so I can get more food from Douglas! :) read more

The second time i had the steak sandwich, well cooked, the meat was a bit small by comparison to other places I've been to, but had a better taste. I don't think they have chilaquiles on their menu BUT the cook always took my order anyways. BOMB chilaquiles SPICY as hell but it's that good spicy where you can't stop eating it :D. The chili cheese fries are good, the nachos are bomb, the burger is bomb. Chicken is not dry, like other places. Plate comes with salad and a dinner roll. The chicken sandwich is good, but if you're not a fan of mayo, make sure you ask for no mayo or light mayo since they really slab that on.
