That initial appointment was a bad omen: they accused me of theft. Despite the receptionist on duty taking and posting my initial copayment, another staff member later questioned if I had paid. Instead of checking the system to see the posted payment, she leaned over right in front of me and asked a colleague if I had "truly" made the payment. In that instant, I was labeled a thief and a liar. The level of unprofessionalism made me feel as though I were in a hostile environment rather than a medical office in Douglasville, Georgia. Furthermore, they routinely charge me for services that were never performed or for items I never received. This office is easily the worst dental practice I have ever visited; the level of incompetence is shocking. There is often only one dentist on duty, and I do not believe he is qualified. He damaged my teeth and then lied about it. I have been waiting for a set of partials for nearly a year now. Even though they are fully paid for, I still haven't received them. I refuse to complete the transaction until Douglasville Dental Associates repairs the damage done to my front teeth. I strongly feel that if I were a white customer, I would not be subjected to this hassle. We live in a dishonest world where not everyone can be trusted. I spoke to the office manager, but she was of no help. Consequently, I am now forced to contact my law firm to resolve this matter because the practice clearly has no intention of doing the right thing.

Came in cuz hubby just had a tooth extracted (somewhere else) and by Saturday morning, we were afraid that the extraction site may have been infected. We found them via google search, and was pleasantly surprised to have only been charged $80 for them to x-ray, examine, and clean the extraction site. They also gave us this huge syringe like thing to use for cleaning his extraction site from home. That is SO cheap!! and oh, that is how much it is WITHOUT having to use dental insurance! I honestly thought it was going to be at least $150 just to see the dentist on a Saturday! We did not have an appointment, but we can in very early, and since there were no other patients in yet, they saw us right away. They were very nice and showed a great deal of care to us. I did not get a cleaning. I knew I had a bad tooth and was referred to another dentist for work that would be done latter. I needed a prescription for the infection but it never got called in. I did call the office and ask why they said it would be called in the next day....4 days later still nothing.
